We love our management team there. I am not sure who the "owner" was that you mentioned, as I am the owner and I'm female and didn't go on the property during your stay. We are very sorry you had the issues as stated in your review. We do wish you would have reached out to us to make us aware of the drain issue and we would have dealt with it right away. As for the bugs, we do have the unit sprayed every month and do our very best to keep our place bug free. Again, if we had of been made aware, we would have asked the pest control company to go back and spray again. We do everything we can to make our guest comfortable and have a great expereince but unless you communicate with us we are not aware of any problems.

It is always unfortunate when a review is written that is simply not true. There were 4 towels, 4 wash cloths, 1 hand towel and 1 kitchen towel set provided. We also list this in the information for guest in the event they want to bring more. Our guest can also order more from our linen supplier. Regarding the slow shower and sink drains, you never once notified us of any issues. We have had slow drain issues previously and it was due to hair that had gotten down in the shower drain. That was probably the same problem which would have been a two minute fix. We are not able to take care of something we know nothing about. And, in your check in instructions we do ask that you notify us of any issues. Our desire is for our guest to enjoy our little beach place but sometimes that does take communication.

The pool is the nicest on the island and we feel blessed to be able to have a nice place to stay when we go. I am glad you and your parents had a good time and do hope you can come again soon.

Thank you for your review. I do want to clariy that we do not advertize for a coin laundry. I checked our site to make sure and it is not checked. Also, we let guests know the linen package we order. I have copied and pasted: "The package we order is sheets for beds, 4 bath towels, 4 wash cloths, 1 hand towel and a kitchen dishcloth set. If you would like more you can order from our linen supplier directly" We do supply a starter kit for paper supplies which most are able to get through a week with. I am sorry the tub was stopped up. If we were notified we would have sent our maintenance man right away. UInfortunatley, hair gets in the drain and that causes the tub to drain slow. But, we always fix any issues right away. We do hope you will come back and we do hope you have a better stay next time!

Reviews are very nice when they are accurate and truthful. I have to address your complaints publicly since you neglected to communicate any of your concerns with us directly. As for the fees, our charges are very transparent. We list everything prior to you making your reservation including the cleaning and linen fees which are the same fees that most everyone charges for these units. The additional fees are taxes and booking fees charged by the online booking site. You were aware of these charges prior to completing your reservation request. You had every opportunity to back out of the reservation. I would imagine that you researched area accommodations and realized that these units are actually very nice for the money in addition to the location. The size of the units is listed in the information on the booking site. A little reading goes a long way. And, the pictures are shown exactly the way the room looks so I don't know what I could have done to make it appear larger. I surely did not manipulate the pictures in any way at all. We advertise with accurate and honest information. As for your complaint of bugs.... I was in the unit right after you left and did not see any signs of bugs. We do have our units sprayed every single month. We cannot guarantee a bug will not get inside but I do not believe for one minute there was infestation of bugs like you would want future guests to believe if they read your review. We, along with other vacation rental owners, want our guests to have a good time while they are here. We strive to provide everything our guests need during their stay. The location is the best on the beach with access to a private beach, the inter coastal waterway right behind the facility and one of the nicest pools on the island.. All within a few steps. Most consider this place a great place to stay and make great memories. We do know we will not please everyone but our ultimate hope is that most will enjoy our little peace of heaven on earth just as we do.
