It was one of 4 cottages on the point, with each cottage standing on 1.3 private acres. The point of land on which the cottage sit (Rocky Point, for tidelands research!) had been owned by Native Americans, whose tribes came together to winter each year. Two of the cottages over time became very grand houses, and two of the cottages, including ours, have been remodeled and enjoyed in their simple state! It is hard to describe the beauty, pristine nature of this cottage. We also have a very large deck with fire pit, large fire pit overlooking the water (by lawn swing in photos) and a large bulkhead at water's edge with another strong fire pit.
