Place has plenty of space for everyone! The hot tub and grill were great to have on the balcony. Property grounds were great! Over nice stay, the unit just needs some TLC!

First I would like to say that the property and amenities are excellent. There was plenty of pool space, a lazy river, an indoor pool if needed along with options for food and drinks. It is an incredible property and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The unit that we rented, 2205D on the other hand was far from excellent. It has so much potential but has been ignored for many years in the essence of just making money and the listing was far from accurate on the condition of the condo and furnishings. For the price that we paid, my expectations were sky high. The condition of the furniture was worse than any condo or hotel I have ever rented. Like Super 8 quality after a heavy metal band stayed there after a show bad. The couch and dining room chairs are worn out. Dressers and other furniture are beaten up and/or broken. Walls beaten up and missing paint. The kitchen appliances are super high end, but dated and probably 10-15 years old. The oven took a half hour just to warm up to cook a pizza. The buttons on the hood over the range were barely functional. Most of the chairs on the balcony had broken slats that you would fall through when sitting on them. There was AV and audio cables and equipment scattered on the shelves and unfunctional. I could go on and on. I would never rent this condo again and encourage anyone else to spend their money on another unit. Its pathetic to say the least for almost 1k per night. I would be ashamed if I owned this condo.

This was our first time staying at Tourquoise, and it was AMAZING. We LOVED it! This particular unit is great, and we really enjoyed being on the 22nd floor, but several things need attention. The couches were very used and dingy, and the chairs at the table had seen better days. Sitting on the dining chairs was like sitting on a bucket with no padding. If you like chipped Teflon in your morning eggs, these skillets are just for you. The walls could use a good wipe down or maybe a coat of paint. If I had a bucket and a quality sponge, I would have started a cleaning session BUT we were too busy with all the amenities that Tourquoise has to offer! Overall, our stay was amazing! I would stay here again, but before I did, I would definitely ask for a few things to be addressed. White Shore Realty was great to work with. I had to call twice, and Chandler was very accommodating and helpful.

We have stayed at this condo for Spring Break for the past two years and truly love the property and this unit. The location is great, the unit is comfortable, and overall it has been a wonderful place to return to year after year and the view from this unit is stunning. That said, there are a few things worth noting for future guests. Last year we reported that the stove hood/vent was not working, and unfortunately it had still not been repaired during our stay this year. If you plan on cooking in the unit, be aware that the smoke alarms are very sensitive due to the lack of ventilation. I was simply browning chicken on the stovetop with plans to finish it in the oven, and it still set off the alarms. During our stay, the microwave did stop working. However, maintenance responded quickly and brought a replacement microwave to place on the countertop, which we truly appreciated. The only other minor comment is that it appears the couches could use a professional cleaning. Aside from that, the unit was clean and well maintained, and we were very comfortable throughout our stay. All of the staff we interacted with were friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Despite the few maintenance issues mentioned, we really enjoyed our time here and would happily stay again.

Fun for all!

Property is well maintained with great amenities! Beds were very comfortable, grille & hot tub on balcony were a big plus. Kitchen was well stocked, we had everything we needed to prepare meals for our family. With the pools , slide , playground , lazy river & splash pad we never had to leave the property. Will definitely be staying again !

Great Stay, Beautiful Room

As is the norm with Turquoise Place, it was an absolutely wonderful stay. The room was great, and the whole property was very up-to-date. The lazy river is heated (although they said that the elements can go out) and they opened the water slide during our stay! Highly suggest the room and Turquoise in general

Beach Getaway

The property was clean, beautifully laid out and spacious for all. We had a great stay. There were a couple of issues that made a party of 8 inconvenienced, but the management team did respond quickly and have people out as quickly as possible. It was a hot water heater issue which made for two days of cold showers, but once fixed we were back in business. Side note - they need more coffee cups for morning coffee on the patio. Only 3 there. We would book here again.

We always stay at Turquoise when we come for Labor Day. The unit was very cute. Some things were definitely over looked in the cleaning, but over all it was fine. We noticed a lot of things were broken or damaged. It would have been nice if that's something housekeeping could have made note about and had fixed before we arrived. A bad part of coming on a holiday weekend is that things cant be fixed until after the holiday. I wasn't that thrilled because one of the things were both of the sliding glass doors. Also I think the hole where the ice machine should go in the bar should be covered up. I just wasn't a fan of having small children that like to play hiding game and there was a big hole in the floor in the empty cabinet space. It was priced well and the bed options were exactly what we were looking for.

Overall the rental was good! Clean facility, friendly personnel, and overall good experince. I am glad I read the reviews before my trip because every other condo I've rented at Turquoise Place has had a ice maker in the bar except this one. I'm certainly not complaining as I was able to plan for it, and the ice maker in the freezer works but doesn't put out enough ice for a family of 3. I would recommend advertising in the listing that this unit does not have an ice maker! I also feel like the hole in the bar (pic below) and how they covered the drain for the ice maker certainly could have been done more professionally and isn't commensurate with a reservation of this price. A few other small issues like the hood vent buttons are stuck inside the vent housing (this is actually a safety issue). You certainly don't have to cook bacon inside or anything smelly with the vent the way it is. Room was clean and had everything we needed for a quick beach trip.

Spacious & great views!

Very spacious, great views. Plenty of quick hot water in all three baths. Poor lighting through out condo with no replacement bulbs. No working vent or light over cook top. On grill only one burner worked & panel had to be removed to light. Sofa probably needed replacing due to bad springs. Know these are all small things but they do add up. Still a good time.

Love Turquoise Place

Turquoise Place is fantastic…the property, location, etc are perfect. This unit was clean and nice but just needs a little attention. There was no ice maker, which is not a big deal but would be nice to know, cable cords were hanging like spaghetti from tvs, furniture was stained and the lights didn't work in a couple areas or we couldn't figure out how to use them. It was less expensive than other comparable units so it makes sense. The bathroom is fantastic and the hot tub was great, too. All in all, we loved it. One unrelated question: Is there a place in the area to donate unopened food and drinks? I left beer/soda cans in the fridge hoping the cleaning crew could enjoy them.

Too many problems…

Ice maker made very little ice. They brought us a small bag of ice. The tv’s did not work. Maintenance guy had to come up and fix that. There was no box spring in extra bedroom. That bed was for my elderly parents. They had to bring that up. Washing machine in the last night was pouring water even when I unplugged it. Messaged the host, no response. Still haven’t gotten one. Had to turn the water off and hand wring the towels. The amount that I paid, this was way too many issues and not worth the price.

The guest room features a platform bed that does not require a box spring, but we still went out of our way to bring one to better accommodate your parents. The listing does not advertise an extra ice maker, yet we delivered a bag of ice as a courtesy to be helpful. Regarding the washing machine, we did receive your message and took it seriously. The washer has since been replaced, and we issued a partial refund for the inconvenience.
