Mike, your three star review is unfortunate as some of these issues could have most definitely been resolved and/or were user error; we wish you had reached out to us during your stay so we could have helped you. The pinball machine does work, we simply keep it unplugged so we do not burn out the power source. Most homes in Lake Tahoe do not have A/C and this is noted in the listing, although we would have been more than happy to bring some fans to the property for your use during your stay.

Hey there Hipolito, we apologize that you were less than fully satisfied with your trip. To address your concern about the A/C; there is none therefore it cannot work. Almost 99% of homes in Lake Tahoe do not have A/C. We disclose this in the listing to prevent any disappointment. As for the smell, i am assuming you meant some sort of musty smell- we do our best to prevent this but when a home is closed up for so long the air simply gets trapped. This probably could have been best remedied by some opened windows. We wish you would have brought these other issues to our attention during your stay so we could have resolved them to improve your experience with us. Regardless, thank you for your honesty and letting us know.

Hello Griff, I'm sorry that you felt disappointed in the property. The games all work to my knowledge so I wish you'd have called in and made mention of the issue with those, I'd have been happy to troubleshoot any issues with you or send over a repair person. Does this include any issue with the pool table? That's the main "game" down there we advertise. The jacuzzi isn't advertised. It hasn't worked in years and is not part of the rental amenities listed for this property. Also, about the shower, how did id not function? We could have repaired it during your stay or right after and I'd like to know more as, of course, we do have other renters coming in. A simple call or email to us would have been greatly appreciated before simply leaving a negative review. We are here to help and all those items (except the jacuzzi) should be in operable shape. Hi Mazen, First, l would love to address your concern that our staff here at Tahoe NORTH Rentals were indifferent. I assure you that we do strive to make every guest stay a positive one. I know that my associate spoke with you, reported the issues to me and to the housekeeper and then went by the house to see what he could see and address any of the easy fixes in person. We do have our homes professionally cleaned and inspected prior to each guest's stay but, we are only human, and we do certainly miss things from time to time which we would happily correct as quickly as possible. When you called and spoke with my team member, we offered to send the housekeeper again and asked for specifics as to what wasn't quite up to par, cleaning-wise. Though you did not provide any specifics right then, we did visit the house while you were away as we had offered to do over the phone, and we did not note anything out of the ordinary. We have since removed the one set of matching pillow shams from the bed that were permanently stained and have replaced that entire bed set up. We are sorry you had to see stained bedding that we missed. You did not want a cleaner to come in at that time and did not accept anything else we were able to offer so I believe we figured you were satisfied in reporting what you found and were glad to have been able to hear you out and visit the property to take care of a few things. As to your other points: *Games are not functioning: We do not charge anything more for use of the games and from time to time the get broken by renters or pieces go missing. As far as we are aware, all games were functioning this spring. I will ask the handyman to inspect them again but, as we state in the rental agreement, they are free to use, and we do our best to stay up on their maintenance. They are a bonus amenity and are not something we can guarantee. *Garage Access: You were given a key to unlock the double garage but, yes, it seemed to have jammed during your first day. We did go by and fix that issue upon receiving your report. Thank you for that. *Furnishings: The photos you saw when you booked the home are out of date a bit as the owner has recently updated some items so, what you got when you arrived is newer than to what you saw when you booked. Indeed, some of the house's furnishings are older but, we just recently had the entire sectional couch professionally cleaned (spring 2022), the dining room table and chairs refinished (2019). *Location: Of course, there isn't much we can do about the property's distance to whatever attractions your group were seeking. We do give you the address and try our best to describe the location so that you are aware of what you can walk to vs drive to. This property is just over a mile to the beach and state park. Though many folks do walk or bike there, we do not advertise it as walking distance to the beach or downtown Kings Beach. It is also one of the closest residential neighborhoods to Northstar for those who enjoy downhill mountain biking or winter skiing. It is also surrounded by loads of trail heads and hikes. We do recommend having a car to rent here but, many folks really enjoy the peace and quiet of the Kingswood West neighborhood. We are sorry your group did not. In the future, feel free to call before you finalize the booking. Our staff is all local and we'd be happy to talk you through the plusses and minuses of any property location, so you are better versed for planning your trip. Thank you for the feedback Donna! We are having the pinball machine repaired (again). It seems to break every year but, we are on it. None of our properties in Tahoe (even new construction) have Air Conditioning but, with climate change we may have to start considering adding them to our homes. In the meantime, we supply every home with multiple fans to help with the heat of summer. The stove top range, dishwasher and refrigerator are all less than 3 years old (some as new as 2020). Wish I knew more about what "old" ones your referencing but, in any case, will convey to the owner. Stairs: Indeed there are a lot of stairs in this house. Not ideal for all groups but, of course, not anything we can reasonably do to change that. We are happy to have been able to host you and your family and would welcome you back!
