This house is a great find and spectacular in every way. Beautiful property splashed with a traveler's wonderful decor. It's special and in a very beautiful peaceful setting and a great base for hiking through the biggest and most inspiring redwoods. You won't want to leave the redwoods or the Fieldbrook House!

This rental exceeded our expectations in every possible way. I would give it 10/5 stars if I could! The house is absolutely stunning, the grounds are immaculate, and the whole experience was filled with whimsy and cozy times with family. The house had everything we needed. The owners are so thoughtful and have clear instructions that are easy to find around the house. We can’t wait to come back another time. Thank you for an incredible stay!

The house was exactly as advertised and it was great! Perfect for a larger group that was using it as a home base to visit the Redwoods. Everything was clean and easy. I would definitely stay again!

Our stay at the field house retreat was delightful. Unique, forest peacefulness. It was great for our annual family reunion. Love the Eastern influences, natural surroundings, outdoor balcony's, outdoor hot tub with shower. Hosts were very easy to communicate with responsive. I would highly recommend!

Our family of 10 loved our stay at Fieldbrook Retreat! The house is beautiful and my cabinetmaker husband greatly admired the woodwork. More importantly, the house is very comfortable and spacious. We enjoyed being able to all sit at the table together and to soak in the hot tub after a day of hiking in the Redwoods. And the art in the house was amazing! We also appreciated the woods and quiet surrounding the house. The location was good for exploring Sue-Meg State Park and the Redwoods National and State Parks. We are only sorry that we did not spend more time in this wonderful place and we would gladly stay here again!

The most magic place I've ever stayed at. It was like being in an international art museum, but had all the family touches of the children who grew up there. Absolutely stunning!! Our whole family enjoyed it so much. The pictures don't do it justice! The hot tub was a perfect way to end the night.

The house was immaculate and far more than advertised. The kitchen was well-equipped and the house is within short travel to both the Eureka Coop and in McKinleyville and the North Coast Coop in Arcata for shopping. Since we traveled to Humboldt County to experience the coastal redwood forest, it was an added bonus to have redwoods right outside the door. The artwork and statuary in the home and on the grounds made it a very special stay. Hope to be back again, but if not we have a lifetime of memories from our stay at Fieldbrook Retreat.

Gorgeous property, easy access to Redwoods

This is a stunning property with lots of room and incredibly finishes. We had a small family reunion/vacation here and it was such a luxury to come back to this property every night.

Perfect family weekend

Family Retreat

Our stay at the Fieldbrook Retreat was extremely comfortable & relaxing. The accommodations were well planned to make space & togetherness for all. The beds were extra comfy. Pleasant stay in Fieldbrook

The house was clean and nicely decorated plus it offered plenty of amenities that made our stay comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, etc. The living room and dinning room allowed our party plenty of space to socialize. The bedrooms were a nice size and offered a comfortable rest. The property was surrounded by nature and it offered plenty of room to play and explore. Great stay.
