As shown in listing , there is no view of the water /lake … construction next door lot . The condo did provide everything that is needed and was clean .

Will not stay here again

It is clear that the owner has tried to make this place appear nicer, but it still has major room for improvement. First, know that this is run by a management company, so for any issues, you're not talking to a middleman. There is a lengthy list of rules for the stay and procedures for check out, and threats of fines for broken rules. The unit didn't feel like it had been cleaned thoroughly; counters were sticky, dishes were dirty, and a lot of dust on appliances and surfaces. The blinds in the kitchen window don't close all the way, so anyone walking by could see into the unit, which is unsettling. The bathroom is poorly lit, and has stained ceilings/walls and paint coming off. Some decor was falling off the walls, and it was clear that decor was placed to cover certain eye sores around the unit. The window by the bed is too dirty to see out of, but they'd strategically left the blinds closed for check in, so its not noticeable immediately. The walls are thin in the building, so despite it being an "adults only" property, if there are kids in the neighboring units, you'll hear them when they're noisy. If you need a last minute place to stay, this could be a roof over your head. The location is convenient and there is a shared pool behind the building. After fees and taxes, the total cost ended up being almost 200% of what the listed nightly price was. So considering all the factors, I won't be staying here again.

Anonymous, we want all of our guests to rest easy when they stay with us, and we're sorry that you experienced some issues during your trip. - We do have a management company that we go through, however, if you have any issues while at the property you can reach out to our guest contact. They are local and the boots on the ground and are here to assist and take care of all our guests. - We like most short-term rentals have house rules that we expect our guests to abide by. They are for the safety of the property as well as the guests themselves. We do not feel they are asking too much, we just want to ensure that we do not incur a lot of fees for damages. - We have a list of items that we request to get started so that the cleaners have a jump on their day. This is to be helpful and is requested like most short-term rentals. As for the instructions on how to leave the unit, these are just things to be done as a courtesy, we want the unit to be left in the same condition as when you arrive. - We apologize if the unit was not as clean as it should have been, we have had some problems with our cleaners. We are in the process of getting things taken care of and hope to ensure all future guests will arrive at a home that is 100% clean and guest-ready. - We have not had any issues with the blinds but will look into this. - While the block is kid-friendly, unfortunately, HOA rules do not permit renters with young children. Owners with kids are courteous enough to follow the quiet hours, so kids do not typically make noise at all hours of the night. We do all we can to make the best possible stay, and we look forward to this property hosting many satisfied guests.

Great Location, Just as pictured

The location was perfectly central to the airport, beach destinations and there grocery and pharmacy very near by. The only thing I would note is that the complex where the unit is, is a little, dark or seems like it could be "sketchy"...however we did not experience any trouble or feelings of danger whatsoever while we were there.

Not what we were expecting

Honestly, very disappointed in this choice of places to stay. View was not anything, and the way it is portrayed on the site it looked to be a nice view. There were light bulbs burned out, the ceiling fan was not able to be changed nor the light turned on. The screen to the balcony (if that is what you call it....) was just leaning against the wall not attached to anything. One of the tables was held together with some wire, the basket hanging in the bathroom was about to fall out of the wall. Dishes were dirty and had to be washed prior to use. The fact that the only TV is one that swings from the wall to only be seen from the bed was kind of stupid. Honestly the only good thing about this place was the location, even though for not much more in price I could have been in one much nicer. All in all very disappointing stay, and will not be staying here again. Also, the way it was portrayed was poor and really misleading, which makes me not even want to use the evolve travel site again as well. Take it from me, spend the extra money and stay somewhere a little nicer.

The spot was ok. The check in was not good. We got there to check in… couldn’t because the code didn’t work.. got in touch with person over it …said we were there a day early….. and then said they didn’t realize our reservation was for that day (but it clearly said it on the reservation) ultimately they realized their mistake but the place wasn’t clean. We had to leave for a few hours so they could clean. We finally got in after dinner. It was a bit frustrating but they were nice about their mistake. We enjoyed the stay overall but a smoother check in would have been much better.

My boyfriend and I enjoyed our stay here for his birthday! It's perfect for a couple getaway. The condo was beautiful, stocked, and the process was very easy. Terrible. The notebook is filled with warnings and threats of fees. So I called to list 4 things wrong, including a fan light with a burned out bulb. “We do not have a replacement” the prop mgr said. The one window in the bedroom was so dirty, and the blind was broken. The booking agent passed the buck, we are not responsible for exterior windows. I could go on but I am just happy to be gone for good. I thought VRBO was by Owner, my first two in 2018, then 2019 were by owner. Beware VRBRental agency, keep searching!!!

We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and we wanted to share the following: - Evolve strives to be transparent with our guests at every stage of the booking process and breaks down all rates and fees before the reservation is confirmed. - This property follows all the standard rules and regulations of vacation rentals, which are stated in the pre-stay email and the welcome book in the studio. - The owners are no longer working with the property manager from your stay. They have hired a new property manager who is a more capable and trustworthy partner to provide a great experience to the guests. - The owners made every effort to accommodate you and provide an enjoyable visit. Sweet Studio Apartment

Adorably, small studio apartment great for couple or single that won't be spending much time at the apartment. Decorated so cute! We had to drive to the beach each time we went but the value was great for our budget.
