Quartier Cottage liegt in Burton, WA auf der Insel Vashon entfernt. Das malerische Haus wurde in den späten 1890er Jahren, als Burton war ein Fischerdorf gebaut. Fantastische Meerblick von der Terrasse mit Gartentische Sitz 10. Schlafmöglichkeiten für 5 mit zwei Doppelbetten und ein Einzelbett. Zwei Badezimmer mit Dusche und Badewanne. Komplett eingerichtete Küche, Waschmaschine und Trockner und Gas-Grill für jene Sommer Grillabende. Alle Bad und Bettwäsche ausgestattet.
Check-in ist 03.00 Uhr und Check-out ist 11.00 Uhr, wenn nicht besondere Vorkehrungen getroffen werden. Bitte rufen Sie Troy 30 Minuten vor der Ankunft Zugang zu erhalten. Wenn Sie sich zeigen, ohne Aufruf werden Sie draußen warten müssen und das ist kein Spaß überhaupt, und schon gar nicht eine gute Möglichkeit, Ihren Aufenthalt zu starten, so rufen Sie bitte.

We were delighted to share the Quartermaster Cottage with two grandchildren while visiting the island for another granddaughter’s wedding. The historic house is spacious and well maintained. Though we scarcely had occasion to use it, the kitchen seemed to have anything one would need to prepare meals. The large front porch with plentiful seating and wonderful view was our favorite part of the house!

Cute cottage, great location

My family of four stayed at Quartermaster Cottage while visiting family on Vashon and had a wonderful stay. The cottage had everything we needed, the beds were comfortable, and the views were spectacular! We enjoyed being just steps from the market, a coffee stand, and some cute shops. We would definitely stay here again.

Amazingly fun

When not on Vashon, we live in Houston, TX. Tracy works in the oil industry and I am retired from a career in high school counseling. We have two grown children, a son who lives in Scottsdale, AZ and a daughter that lives in Golden, CO. We lived in the Seattle area during my husband's career and fell in love with the Northwest. We vowed to come back and live there someday. During the search, we discovered Vashon Island and have never looked back. Vashon is an extra special place to live and visit!

Darum fiel die Entscheidung auf diese Unterkunft

The previous owner approached us one day and said, "I am selling my house would you want to buy it?" We jumped at the chance to be able to become the caretakers of this "Pink House" icon of Burton. You never get tired of the view from the huge deck and are so close to beaches for walking and trails for hiking. The house was built in the late 1890's. We have maintained the charm while providing all the comforts of home.

Vashon is only a 20 minute ferry ride from West Seattle and 15 minutes from Tacoma. Yet when you come to the island you feel hundreds of miles from a metropolitan area. Relax and read a book, walk the beaches, hike the many trails on the island to unwind from the busy city. The art, theatre and music scene is robust to say the least. You can enjoy a live musical performance, art show and even an opera all year round.
