It’s especially great for older people who cannot climb the stairs to the houses on stilts. We cooked many of our meals at home and found the utensils and pans we needed in the kitchen. The backyard space is beautiful and well cared for. This is a prime lot. At one point, we had problem with the entry code and the property company was very helpful and kind. We swim in the pool and watch TV too. The location was right within walking distance to Sand Fest.

Couple of safety issues- but still a great place!

This year felt different in that there were a couple of safety issues. With a 19 month old and a 4 and half year old grandkids, the back door locks (to the pool) were an issue. The actual door knob lock didn't work, even though there is a safety latch there. The deadbolt lock was extremely hard to lock, but we did appreciate the upper lock that's been installed. The rug under the patio there was ripped and shredding which is a definite fall risk for an older person like myself. I tripped several times. Replace or remove. The other problem is the TV's....Living room TV had available streaming capability, bedroom 1 TV has limited channels and no streaming, bedroom 2 TV would never connect to the internet- so no TV, bedroom 3 TV had ROKU. Why can't they all be the same? But there was soap there this year!! New push button front door locks were awesome. Still a great time!

Texas Staycation

This is our second time to stay at this property, as we stayed last year with my brother. It’s a perfect house when you have your elderly parents with you. The location is perfect! The house was very clean, and the private pool is so nice. I’m sure we will return next year!

Perfect vacation house!

This house was our favorite vacation spot by far! We come to Port A every year for family vacation and have stayed in a variety of places, mostly great, but this is the best yet! The house is roomy, clean, well stocked, and comfortable. The outdoor space with private pool is the icing on the cake! We loved all the seating areas and the pool was so nice. Loved it so much, definitely going back.

Family vacay success ✨

We loved this property and will definitely be back — the seperate room/bathroom area adjacent to the house was perfect for our parents who want their own space/privacy! We had three dogs and having the tile flooring throughout was so nice — they were a sandy mess after the beach and to have a hose outside to get them cleaned up was so nice. Property management responded very quickly after a mosquito swarm had settled into the entrance/courtyard area — they sent someone to spray the exterior quickly and it made a huge difference. We had enough kitchen utensils and pots and pans to make large dinners for everyone! 10/10

Beautiful home

This house was great for our family. Backyard is beautiful. Our fur babies were allowed and it’s close to the beach. Kitchen had everything needed to cook meals. One thing that wasn’t clear in the listing is that the 3rd bedroom, although attached to the house, wasn’t accessible from the main house. This was a concern as we had younger kids and had to swap rooms around to put kids to bed early while adults stayed up later to ensure we were able to still keep an eye on them within the main house.
