Dieses große, moderne Stadthaus befindet sich in zentraler Lage in einem neu entwickelten Viertel von South Phoenix, ganz in der Nähe von Tempe und Scottsdale und weniger als 10 Minuten vom Flughafen entfernt.

Die sichere Wohnanlage von Hunter Ridge ist ruhig und sicher, ohne Durchgangsstraßen. Die Gemeinde selbst ist modern und gepflegt und jünger als 10 Jahre. Unser Haus hat auch einen schattigen, privaten Garten mit Liegestühlen, Esstisch, Feuerstelle und Grill. Unser Hinterhof blickt auf einen Kanal / Gehweg und den Legacy-Golfplatz. Host Doug was excellent at responding right away to all questions /concerns - however we had booked the property based on two bedrooms and two bathrooms, and when we got there found the second bathroom was going to be an extra charge which was unexpected. Also, the pools were not heated so were unusable, although this was not the hosts fault, it would’ve been nice to know beforehand.

Thanks Susan. yes the main pool heater had broken down and the city muffed the required permit causing delay. And yes there was a $50 cleaning fee required to use the THIRD bathroom for the duration of the stay. This was stated in the additional terms of the listing. vrbo doesnt help make it more clearer. Susan overall was a fantastic guest.

Perfect location for first time Phoenix are explorers!

We enjoyed our stay, our favorite parts were walking every morning by the canal and basking in the sun by the pool. Only suggestion would be to request updated pics and check in booklet.

Spacious 2 bedroom garden apartment beautifully decorated. Great location: convenient to downtown, hiking (South Mountain), shopping and several spring training ballparks. Located on one of the canals so you can walk, run, bike as far as you want. Also a couple of golf courses are very close. Apartment is well stocked with appliances, televisions, sheets, towels, bikes and golf clubs. Host is very responsive and check-in/check-out is very easy.

Great Location!

Great Location to go anywhere in the Phoenix area. Our only complaint is the traffic on Baseline Road. 6 lanes of non stop traffic and taking a left out of the property was a challenge.

Enjoyed our stay …

Stayed 4 weeks (husband/wife) and was good fit for us. Close to hiking S Mountain and we rode our ebikes along the canal behind the condo. Had all the stuff we needed and comfortable floor plan. We utilized the heated community pool, steps away, as well as the hot tub. Fry’s grocery and other shopping is nearby as well as Sky Harbor Airport. Great communication with Doug.

Great getaway condo!

We enjoyed our stay! The condo was very comfortable and well outfitted, the pool was warm and very close, outdoor space private. 10 minutes to lots of numerous great hiking trails. 1/2 Mile to grocery’s, shopping, restaurants, health club, etc. It’s a 15 min drive from sky harbor airport. Any questions or concerns were quickly taken care of by Doug the property owner.

Exceeded our expectations!

This was a very well appointed townhome. The kitchen is complete for those that enjoy cooking, the living area was very comfortable, and it is right across the street from the pool and jacuzzi. The homeowner was very responsive with our questions. We were not familiar with the south side of Phoenix, but had grocery, golf, and really good hiking right nearby. The Farm at South Mountain is a special property for eating and visiting.

Christmas spent with family & friends

We booked the property thinking we'd be very close to where family & friends live and weren't disappointed in the location at all. My wife worked most days during our stay and needs a good internet connection with an ethernet port to plug into for her job, before we arrived Doug had let me know he had upgraded the internet and it worked fantastically! The location is close to recreational trails and South Mountain which allowed me to bike, hike, or run most days during our stay. Now for the not so great items related to our stay, we use VRBO or other services for 4-5 stays a year and this is the first time we've been required to only leave only 1 unwashed load of laundry for the cleaning staff to finish. Most hosts have multiple sets of towels/bed linens/etc and just switch everything out between guests but here you will get billed extra if you leave more that 1 unwashed load of towels/linens. This probably wouldn't have been an issue for us if we hadn't received an unrelated to our stay phone call and had to cut our stay short by a day and a half so we were scrambling to get laundry done before leaving. The other slightly disturbing items were the door bell camera and camera in the family room. The host's guest notebook states that the camera will be turned towards the wall and powered down during your stay but it wasn't, after exchanging messages with the host we unplugged to power supply and repowered it back up when we left. The door bell camera allows the host to know every time you come and go which my wife found very disturbing. Other than these items we really enjoyed our stay!

Randy was an excellent guest. We do have the one load rule simply because if the cleaning staff has to do more loads then they bill an extra hour to sit around for that. So we ask the guests to help if they have a lot of laundry. As for the cameras, firstly the doorbell notification is turned off so we don't know when the guest comes and goes. The doorbells prime purpose us to help guests out if they have issue getting into the condo and can call me directly. Secondly as was communicated to the guests, the living room security camera is not responding to view or commands so we couldn't turn it around to the wall. The easy fix was to have the guest just unplug it for their comfort.

We enjoyed this property very much. It is exactly as described. If you enjoy hiking, especially South Mountain, it is a great proximity to all of the trails. It is very close to the airport. Attractions are a short ride away. The condo was very comfortable for our family for the week.

Location was great for us. Doug was very responsive with questions we had. We had issues with not having access to the pool most of the time we were there because the last tenant kept the key. Doug helped us through that. On the surface, the place was clean. But when looking further, the housecleaner could spend more time cleaning the floors and dusting. But we definitely would stay there again!

Home away from home

From the easy check-in to the departure time, this condo was excellent. Convenient to where I needed to be. The condo has everything we needed. And for those small personal items, there were shops, food and gas all nearby within a 3-4 min drive. Would definitely stay there again.

Nice quality townhouse - located in a busy area

The townhouse was nice, clean, and well-appointed as described. Kitchen had all the appliances necessary for cooking and was well-stocked with basics of oil, salt, pepper, and other baking supplies and condiments. It wasn't a good fit for us. We live in a quiet wooded area. Too much noise and traffic at this complex for us. The complex is located right off a six late main thoroughfare which was busy day and night. Too much noise for us to enjoy sitting outside on the deck (we wanted to escape from the cold mid-western winter). The 2 pools are also located at the front of the complex, immediately after you enter the complex - and thus close and facing the 6 lane highway.

Thank you for staying at our wonderful vacation home, Jeanette. I would agree with you, it is not located in a quiet wooded area and if you are used to living in solitude you would likely notice more noise than you are accustomed to. The condo is in the heart of Phoenix with wonderful amenities, shopping and golf at your doorstep. Unfortunately that does come at the cost of traffic noise, although I wouldn't say that it is excessive, just normal for a large city. Have a wonderful year and thanks again for booking with us. We are the Wilsons from Canada. We love coming to our vacation home in Phoenix, but unfortunately are still very busy with our daily lives and can't get down as much as we like. We are happy to share our home with you!
