Diese Wohnanlage in High Chalet hat einen atemberaubenden, malerischen Blick auf die Smoky Mountains. Das High Chalet befindet sich an der Spitze der Ski View Road mit Blick auf Ski Ober Gatlinburg. TatsÀchlich können Sie die Sessellifte von unserem Balkon aus sehen! Es gibt keinen friedlicheren Ort in ganz Gatlinburg.
Unsere Einheit verfĂŒgt ĂŒber eine voll ausgestattete KĂŒche mit GeschirrspĂŒler und Mikrowelle, zwei Fernseher und DVD-Player, ein Kingsize- und Queensize-Bett, zwei Badezimmer und ein Telefon in der Einheit mit kostenlosen OrtsgesprĂ€chen. Wir haben auch einen Kamin und einen privaten Balkon, um die Aussicht zu genießen. Wir bieten alle BettwĂ€sche und die WĂ€scherei befindet sich direkt gegenĂŒber der Halle. Der Komplex verfĂŒgt ĂŒber zwei Whirlpools sowie einen beheizten Pool (wĂ€hrend der Saison).

Perfect view!

Top of the mountain made for an awesome ride up and an even better view once we got there! Kids loved the pool and game room, everything was within a short drive down the hill. Seen a few bears, one was up close and personal! Communication was spot on, description was perfect, we loved it. Will definitely be back.

Great View

Apartment location is great and view from balcony amazing. They need to upgrade Entertainment like a smart TV so guests can use their Netflix or other app. Overall apartment needs upgrade and some kids friendly stuff.

Beautiful Views, But Needs Improvement

The view from Bear’s Den is absolutely stunning, and the beds were very comfortable, making for restful nights. However, the main bedroom had a huge hole in the screen, and the second bedroom lacked a window screen entirely, preventing us from enjoying the fresh mountain air. The main bathroom was inadequately stocked with toilet paper, which was inconvenient for our stay. Additionally, the unit felt a bit tired and could have been cleaner. Be aware that the drive up and down the mountain is quite steep and winding, so it’s not for the faint of heart. Despite these issues, we enjoyed our time in Gatlinburg and appreciated the beautiful surroundings.

Magnificent Location

Being within 20 minutes of Gatlinburg and all the activities available there. The view from the property was stunning in the truest sense of the word. The property was well-maintained and clean. Felt remote. Hiking was beautiful. We saw a bear from the balcony! My girlfriend and I had a wonderful time for her birthday weekend. It was an unforgettable time. Truly!

Great place to stay and just relax!

This was our 3rd time staying at High Chalets for our anniversary. (all through different owners). We love the remoteness and serenity! We buy all of our groceries prior to arriving and do not leave until time to go home. Each time we have seen the bears.. I highly recommend this property. The owners we very nice and responded promptly to any questions.

Comfortable condo

The condo was exactly as pictured. We loved the amazing view from the large living room window and the balcony. The only negatives about this place were the facilities weren’t cleaned very well. Whoever cleans for this condo didn’t do a very good job before our stay. There was a dried puddle of urine on the back of the toilet between the tank and seat. The dishwasher was still full, but the dishes were clean so we had to unload it ourselves, the keurig had an old used k-pod in it, and the fridge had a half full drink in it. The floor could have also used a little vacuuming. Other than the cleanliness of these things, we had an overall positive stay. The beds were comfortable as were the soft sheets! The WiFi also weren’t great!

Love this condo!

This was our second time staying here and I love this condo, I love everything about...the location, the view...it's perfect...almost. There is one thing I wish was different, and that's the king size bed...I wish it was lower, it is so high off the ground I have to jump to get into it. Also, the cleaners really need to do a better job...we had three towels per bathroom, no washcloths, no handtowels...I had to go buy some washcloths just so we could shower that night (we arrived late). Besides that, this place is wonderful!

The view was great . But hard to find with no directions. We had no wash clothes and couldn’t get ahold of management to take care of it. The water in the hot tubs where to cold to enjoy.

The views were beautiful!

This place was very nice. We really enjoyed the view! Love watching the tram go up and down the mountain . The condo was very clean . The beds were very comfortable . The only thing that I could complain about. There was no wash cloths. We did go out and purchase some. Other than that it was a great place.

Our stay was awesome and the views were spectacular. We got to see some bears that came to visit for dinner. Be prepared as the trip up and down the mountain to the unit can be an adventure, especially pulling a trailer!

Perfect Getaway

Condo was easy to access, with ample parking. View is pretty, and while a complex you didn't feel crowded. Home had all amenities needed for our stay in Gatlinburg. We were there for over a week for a dance competition, commute back and forth to Convention Center was easy.

Great property

Very nice 2 bedroom condo. As others have said, the roads to get up are a little scary, but understand that you are at the top of the mountain. Just go slow. The condo has everything you need. Just a few things I wish I knew before we went: The pool is not heated. I thought I read that it was somewhere but maybe I’m crazy. Since it’s cooler on the mountain top, the pool was freezing (mid June). The hot tub heaters need replaced (or something) because the highest the temp either would get was about 96F. The bears seem to be watching and waiting for an opportunity (haha). Seriously though, as we were packing to leave, we had just a few more small things to grab and so left the trunk open (2 minutes tops). We no more than got to the second floor and a big bear climbed into the trunk, swiped a box of cereal and sat down and ate it. I know you’re not supposed to feed the bears, but I wasn’t going to try to take his stolen honey bunches of oats.

Mother’s Day getaway

Thought I was getting a cabin with a jacuzzi. Got an old outdated condo instead. The toilets have a hard time flushing, the wood on the balcony is soft and rotted. The screen door to the balcony is torn, so no relaxing with the fresh air in the room unless you want the knats that are EvErYwHeRe to come inside. The place isn’t convenient to anything either. And it’s very hard to drive to because of tiny scary mountain roads. It takes 20 minutes to get to Gatlinburg from this place. My mom took a shower and when she turned the knob to make the water hot, the knob just popped right off in her hand. The dry wall in the bathroom is exposed and rotting away right in plain sight. I could go on and on about why I’ll never stay here again and why I’d never recommend this place to anyone else. Way way over priced for how bad this place is. They didn’t even offer a partial refund when I brought up these issues. And didn’t ask me anything about my stay upon check out. Tried calling at check out time several times but no answer.

This complex is at the top of ski mountain and the view is spectacular from our balcony. You can see the people at Ober Gatlinburg skiing down the slops from our balcony. There is no other building behing our building making it one of the more secluded condos in the complex.
