we were there because our daughter's softball tournament, did not have time to play on the beach or in the pool, but enjoyed the live music at night and beautiful sunset in the evening and wonderful food within blocks.

The only place to stay in Panama City!

We had a very good time and love the room, only thing was the TV was extremely limited on channels. We stay every year at shores of Panama, and going back in October. We have around 25 friends and family members that meet each vacation. Thank you for a great experience at the beach, please get more channels for the TV watchers, see ya next time!

Do not recommend

Poor property management, Extremely slow elevators, lack of adequate parking. There are 6 elevators to accommodate over 6000 guests. We paid for 2 parking passes and still had to park off site due to lack of parking. Worst vacation of my life.

We aren't involved in the overall operations at the resort and aren't able to help with elevator delays, but we understand they can be cumbersome during busy times. Beautiful view, beds comfortable and tall other furnishings worn, 1 remote for fans and lights in living room and #2 bed room, #2 bathroom smelled of soured water run fan 24 hours 1 bottle bleach and 1 bottle vinegar did not help, unit was very clean upon arrival. The walls turned black with mold 3 times with mold called panhandle they sent someone to wipe them down but never got it all. This is not a 3 bedroom unit, it has 2 bedrooms with bunks beds in the hall to the 3rd toilet and sink. "Stevie" at Panhandle was very easy to work with. I give this unit a 2 star only because Stevie of Panhandle did try to eliminate the problems. Pros; Beautiful view, unit very clean Cons; Black mold, smell, roaches and other bugs,

Beautiful beach, average stat

The beach was amazing, the room was just ok. Nice enough but not very much kitchen accessories which made cooking difficult. The floor was dirty making our feet filthy. It was quite gross. The bunk bed was poorly maintained. Worst thing was the elevators. 26 floors with only 3 sets of elevators is cause for lots of frustrations and waisted time waiting for your turn. Someone was always in our parking spot and we were told we would need to contact the owner of our unit for them to call a tow truck so not even sure why they had people walking around the parking lot for. Will never go back to this place. Too much time spent waiting on elevators and navigating the property to enjoy the vacation. Not to mention the pool was so crowded you will never find a lounge chair unless you go out early in the morning. Definitely not worth the amount of money we paid.

We had the pleasure of staying in unit 2329. The decor was nice and the view spectacular! It felt nice and cozy!! The only very minute issue was the lock on the master bedroom doesn’t properly lock the door. Be prepared to wait for the elevator!! I would definitely stay here again. Staying here made coming home to bury my brother less stressful.

Property was very pretty with good views of the gulf, but everything was hectic!

Where do I begin? DIRTY, walking into a dirty condo after a 12 hour drive with having to clean was not my idea of how to start my vacation. Sticky food all over leather couch, BROKEN bunk bed ladder that was extremely hazardous for my children to even begin to use on their own, all towel bars in front bathroom kept falling off wall, floors dirty, patio furniture falling apart, mildew in both showers, old coffee left in the maker, decor was hideous! I could go on and on! Don't waste your money on this unit, I'm so disappointed in my stay at this condo, especially considering the amount that was spent for the week for renting. I called for maintenance and when the man came into the condo he said he couldn't "completely " fix the bunk bed ladder (and half fixed it, but still dangerous to use) because the owners were very hard to work with and only aloud them to work in the condo for NO more than 15 minutes! The parking for Shores of Panama was just ridiculous! There was only like 8 sets of elevators for over 700 units, so you can bet being on the top floor your going to wait awhile for the elevator. The only few pros for this condo is the view of the gulf is amazing and beautiful, you couldn't ask for a better view!! The mattresses in both master bedrooms were very comfortable. So, over all my stay at this unit was not very enjoyable. I would NEVER recommend it to anyone!

Thank you for your feedback. I am quite surprised by this review. Mostly considering the person that stayed in this unit right after you gave it 5 stars. You checked in on July 15th and checked out on the 22nd. You did not call to report any issues until July 18th, at which time, you refused a cleaner to come back out and stated that all you wanted was for the bunk beds and towel bar to be repaired. You also told us that you should have called the day of check in to report any issues that you had with cleaning and maintenance. Had you done so, we would have taken care of any and all issues immediately so you could have enjoyed the rest of your stay. We cannot control the parking or elevators but both can be quite tricky during peak season. That goes for every high rise on the beach, not just Shores of Panama. Again, we do value your opinion and are sorry that we were not given the opportunity to make things right before your departure date.

Loved it. It was my families 1st beach vacation together. (Myself, hubby, 2-11yr old girls, 4yr & 9month old boys & mother-in-law) We couldn't have asked for a better vacation & thats being said even with the weather not being all that great.We all had plenty of space to relax and sleep . VIEWS WERE BEAUTIFUL! BALONEY AMAZING! Pool was beauitful. The beach was perfect distance with having to take 4 kids. I didnt even mind being on the 23rd floor bcuz of views. Security throughout,was great. Wasn't huge fan of wrist bands,especially on my 4yr old. Needs more and better carts for luggage. Overall condo was pretty clean, a good dusting was definitely needed.Showers weren't great,no water pressure and didnt drain well but somewhat excepted with amount of units.Pillows needed replaced, but great kitchen with all needed items. Updated appliances which is always a plus! Great location with walking distance walmart & food places! LOVED KEYLESS ENTRY! Having a washer & dryer was a bonus and definitely came in handy! Furniture was beautiful. Indoor pool & hot tub was wonderful!I do think the amenity fee was a little ridiculous. We arrived after 5pm and had to pay full price and also had to pay full price for the day we were checking out which I thought was extremely unfair. These minor things definitely didn't change the good times and memories we made and we will be back next spring break!!!!!

Couldn't be happier. Condo looks just like photos. It was amazingly perfect. Will stay here again.

We were skeptical only 3 reviews & 2 not good, glad we took a chance on this place. Got in easy. Very pleased when we opened front door, looks just like the photos. Very clean. Well stocked kitchen (plates, cups, utensils). Perfect location for Ironman, short walk down street to venue. Pineapple Willy's (yummy bar food) next door with outdoor pier you can eat on as well as inside, Waffle House & Walmart close walk (1 or 2 block distance). Our teenagers walked to close local attractions and had all kinds of fun. Check-in was easy, walked downstairs and had no wait. They put bracelets on each of us. Pros: -Beautiful condo. Tastefully decorated. Nice furniture, very comfortable & clean. -Lots of dressers and closet storage. -2 full large bathrooms, one has a vanity desk & chair in it, and a 1/2 bathroom (so each bedroom has a bathroom). -TV in each bedroom, 2 bedrooms King sized beds & 3rd had bunk-beds (kind of a half bedroom but was all they needed for sleeping). - Loved the location of this specific condo. Top floor, end unit. Had a wrap-around balcony (awesome sunset views). We did not have elevator problems as we walked past the first set (where many waited) and around the back a bit to find almost no wait at that elevator which worked perfectly for where this condo is located.. -We put teens in the bedrooms off the living room. We stayed in front room away from their evening x-box noise, we did not hear them. -Large refrigerator/freezer. Dishwasher. Microwave, toaster, coffee maker. Everything you need. Washer & dryer in front bathroom which was very helpful. Cons: -You have to wear the plastic bracelet during stay to access facilities, pool, beach. -Parking was confusing in the garage as to which space was ours. Some spaces small, but we had Excursion that fit so car should be no problem. -Not right off elevator, walk down 2 halls to get to condo. Was fine for my family. -Biggest problem for us **NO HANGERS IN ANY CLOSET** Note to owners-we like hangers- Walmart sells cheap -**You have to be careful not to trip, little step up to step outside on balcony. The owner has few notes posted around which were helpful, but need to add one below the sliding door that says be careful of step out. Your foot catches on the door frame if you don't lift it high enough.** - Found note on dryer about cleaning out lint trap but could not find one anywhere. Need to clarify location. I would definitely recommend staying here. We were very pleased.

Beautifully Done Condo!

My family reserved this condo before reading the reviews and of course were horrified @ what we might walk into!! To our surprise this condo was AMAZING!!! I really do not understand the reviews and wonder if they aren't for another condo maybe?! This condo was amazing, the views, the decorations, super nice everything! The elevator's can be a short wait but again we were on the 23rd floor. The pools were great and also very well done. I would recommend Shore's, Panhandle Getaways, and their app. to all families. Nicely done folks :)

Do not stay at this condo!

We stayed on Floor 23 of this VERY large condo. The view was spectacular & overall, the condo was ok. The pool was large and rather spectacular. The beach was nice although somewhat crowded. The beach service was very good...perhaps the only very good thing about this condo with the possible exception of Pineapple Willy's next door and the Wal-Mart within walking distance. Parking is a nightmare at this condo. Security can be rather belligerent and uncaring . We arrived there in an oversized vehicle with a luggage carrier on top. We were told that we would have to remove the luggage carrier in order to park; however, they did not have a ladder that I could use (unbelievable at such a large condo...oddly enough we ran across a maintenance man towards the end of our stay who had a ladder). Security showed me where I could park for the night then we had to move the next day to another space (a 15 minute space). The day after that we were told we couldn't park in the 15 minute space & they even said we would be towed. I had to park in city parking 0.5 mile away one night. I did manage to find places in the alley which they said were for oversized vehicles. I came to find out that security parks in the 15 minute spaces (that's why they didn't want us parking there) & the other employees park in the alley. Thus, security caters to their own instead of the guests. Our refrigerator didn't work for the 1st 36 hours that we were there; however, the maintenance guy was able to fix it. Our sink stopper didn't work. The dryer did not have a functional lint filter which is a fire hazard. One end of a curtain rod was was barely mounted to the wall such that the least tug on it could have brought if down on someone's head. Wi-Fi was intermittent. The amenity fee is ridiculous for what you get. Security had us stand in a line for 30 minutes to check in only to find out that we didn't need to check in since we rented through Panhandle Getaways. Six elevators is absurd. Security treats you like you're renting a car from them if you want to use a luggage cart. You could not pay me to stay at this condo again & any person who does stay there after reading this review is foolish.

I know it's been a long time and a lot has changed, but you will be delighted to know that all of the items you mentioned were remedied and this property is in perfect condition :)

Shore won't stay here again

Positives: great view Negatives: 23rd floor in a complex of 700 units and only 6 elevators for maintenance and all guests ; 14 luggage carts for 700 units; told we had a reserved parking spot only to be notified we would be towed because it was another units reserved spot; paid 140$ extra in amenity fees and never had wifi available and used the pool for 5min because it was so filthy (hair between fingers/toes when in pool/ clumps of hair around pool ) refrigerator never got cold and freezer did not produce ice or keep ice we bought frozen. Only had about 6 total bath towels for this unit that sleeps 8 sheets and pillows in beach view bedroom need updating. Sheets were very rough and pillows virtually flat. Just did not feel like we got what we paid for with this unit and the entire resort was a disappointment
