We absolutely love staying here! Location is perfect for boating, restaurants, shopping, and all the beach activities you can think of! The house is so cozy and clean. The family friendly community with the pool and park make for the perfect vacation!

This beach house was beautiful! Very clean, kitchen had everything you needed. Nice size comfortable living room. The bedrooms were nicely decorated and comfortable. My favorite parts was the sun room and the porch. So beautiful and relaxing!! Also the deck was wonderful!! Nice Picnic table and chairs to enjoy the view! We were so pleased with everything we definitely want to stay here again!!!

Bayfront Dream

This was by far the best vacation and vacation house I have rented in Delaware convenient and close to everything. The property manager very polite and quick to respond. Definitely looking forward to booking next year.

Bayside cottage

We had a great stay here!! Very quiet and the dock was very enjoyable for catching bait for fishing!!The pictures were super and we would love to come back!! Close to the nice pool and very relaxing spot!! We had a great vacation!!!

This was our fourth year staying at this property and it was another successful beach week! Our favorite thing about this house is the location. The house is located right on the Assawoman bay canal with great views! The screened in porch, dock and the crows nest are great places to hang out, eat a meal, telework, etc. This location is near to Bethany and Ocean City and just a short drive to Fenwick beach. Important to us is the air conditioning and it works great! The beds are comfortable and the kitchen is well equipped. What more could you ask for! Oh and the host also allows small dogs which is a big plus for us!

Relax by the beaches

Nice and relaxing away from the hustle and bustle of the beaches. Nice view along the canal and the porches and deck were what we most enjoyed during our visit! Plenty of room for the whole family.

Third year staying here, love this place!

We love the location of this house, great views of Assawoman Bay. So fun to spend time on the dock, screened in porch and the crows nest that easily fit the 6 of us…great place for cocktails! WiFi in the house works well, several of our group had to work and the elevated desk in the sunroom with views of the water was greatly appreciated. We look forward to our next visit there!

Family Vacation

Such an amazing property! The house was the perfect size for our family. It was clean and located centrally to everything! We enjoyed short drives to Ocean City, Rehoboth, Fenwick and Bethany. Our favorite spot was screened in porch overlooking the canal. Will definitely rent again for future visits. Thank you for such a relaxing stay.

My sisters and I had a wonderful time at your beach house. Very windy week, but we had some great beach days. House is as stated, very cute. Fenwick is a great town, with some great restaurants. Overall we had a terrific time!

Great place in a wonderful town, close to the beach, on the bay.

Know that you must bring your own towels, linens, whatever you need. Kitchen is fully equipped. The house is large, comfortable, quiet, with an excellent lay-out. We loved it.

Calmness on the Canal

The home felt like home! Very clean and well stocked. Very comfortable. Lots of room and on top of that is the view! We had a great time and look forward to coming back soon. Lynn the property manager was very helpful.

Perfect Location! A++ rental

This rental home was just perfect for us. Plenty of space, and close to all the area beaches and activities. It was well stocked with everything we needed for cooking and serving home cooked meals- and close to some wonderful restaurants. The view from the screened in porch and the deck on top was very peaceful and fun for bird and wildlife viewing. A++! Manager was wonderful to work with as well.

Already booked again!

Perfect location! The community is absolutely adorable. We had such a memorable vacation. Waking up and going to bed on the water… not much else you could ask for. The home was clean. The pool and playground were perfect for children and adults. The neighbors were the nicest, most welcoming people as well! We look forward to coming back! Next summer can’t come soon enough! Great location and views

This is our second summer staying here and it is a wonderful location and house! We love the views out the back and from the upper deck. The outside areas are a great place to gather in the evening and enjoy your coffee in the morning. Close by is Assawoman state park with great views and hiking opportunities. We hope to stay here again next summer. PS. The air conditioner works great which was certainly needed the last half of our week.

Coastal Comfort

This place was amazing! From the minute we walked through the door, we were at home. We loved the space it provided us. If you plan to be outside in the evenings, bring bug spray, the mosquitoes are no joke. My girls attempted to fish, but there was nothing to catch. It was very close to the beach, restaurants, grocery, activities etc. The place was extremely clean. Plenty of parking for 2-3 vehicles. The neighborhood was quiet and the people were nice. It is a well maintained property and we hope to stay again!

Best location ever!

Could not of been happier with the location of the property, right on Assawoman Bay. We spent a lot of time sitting on the dock or if the sun was too bright you could sit in the screened porch and still have great views of the water. Quite a relaxing spot! We rented kayaks and were able to explore the bay right from the property. The layout inside was perfect for us, the online pictures are very accurate. We look forward to staying here again! Only one thing that we thought could be a bit improved is the organization of the kitchen cabinets. With many families using the items nothing gets put back right, I get it, it must be a pain for the cleaners. Maybe labels where things go might help put things back in the right places. Also we could of used more serving bowls and serving spoons….we did a lot of cooking so it a bit of an issue with us. But overall we can’t wait to spend more time at this great house!!

Vacation on the canal

The house was larger then I had anticipated..in a quiet location. Great views, games, movies, and wi-fi which my children all enjoyed. The condition of the stove top and oven in the kitchen was horrible. It took us over an hour to bake 8 biscuits. The wood on the deck out back had quite a few warped boards that made a definite tripping hazzard and less then 2 1/2 ft of water in the canal most of the time made boat navigation quite tricky. I would recommend the house to friends if some of the repairs are done. I thought that the cost to rental property was a little high after we got there and saw the condition of the above mentioned items. Also the mini golf in the neigborhood is pretty run down. We also only received 5 pool passes for a house that sleeps 9. Higgins Crab house, old pro pirate ship mini golf in ocean city, and the bath house location on Fenwick Island beach were all geat and close to the house. Harris Tweeter grocery store is definitly the place for shopping near the house too.

UPDATE on pool passes: As of Summer 2014 the community now uses electronic cards for access to the pool. Each home gets one card which will be provided to our renters. PREVIOUS RESPONSE BELOW>>> It's my understanding that the stove/oven and the decking were fixed while this renter was there. There were no previous complaints. As far as the pool passes, each owner gets 5 passes but the pool staff understands that each home may have more than 5 people so they don't count visitors (my family has 6 members and we often have extended family, never any issues with all of us going to the pool). And yes, don't expect the community mini golf to be anything special, sorry about that but that one is out of our control. HOWEVER, the shuffle board is beautiful, and the other amenities (basketball, volleyball, horse shoes, playground) are well kept.

Our family purchased the property in 2007 as a family getaway. We love the peaceful location, great community and local activities. We love the "lower, slower Delaware" area in all the seasons of the year and are always discovering new things to do and places to explore. We think it's a great place for all ages. The best thing about being a host is hearing how other families are making memories here, like we have. We do our best to keep the place well-maintained and try to add something new each year for an enjoyable guest experience.

The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful with a great view, good proximity to the beach and Ocean City MD, and offers community amenities. Great destination for remote workers. You can view the canal and nature preserve from your desk and enjoy local activities in your downtime.

Guest have told us that they like the property because it is family-friendly and pet-friendly. They like the quiet, friendly community. They enjoy having access to the water from our back dock. The 2nd story deck offers a great view of the bay with its abundant wildlife. You'll also catch some amazing sunsets up there. Only 2.5 miles from Ocean City MD and the beautiful Fenwick Island beach.
