Overall the stay was really nice. Unobstructed view of the beach! Beautiful spot, less than 2 miles from the Carolina Beach Boardwalk. The place was very clean and kitchen stalked with items for cooking. The beach does have a big pipe running along the coastline, so that might be a drawback but that’s the case for the entire coastline here. You do have to bring your own sheets and towels (including hand towels for the bathroom) but the owner supplies paper towels and toilet paper. The owner was good with communication throughout the entire process! Overall would recommend and come again.

The project has now been completed, and the pipe has been removed, leaving us with a gorgeous expansive beach And glad you enjoyed your stay, especially the unobstructed beach views and the convenient location near the Carolina Beach Boardwalk...it really is such a special spot. We arrived right before the Nor’easter came up the coast. Lots of rain, wind. We still had a great time discovering new restaurants and shopping at local business. We also found a mini golf. As always, the condo is clean and comfortable.

Thank you for your review. I’m glad you enjoyed the views from the condo. For future guests, I’d like to clarify a few things: linens and towels are not provided, and this is clearly stated in three places — the VRBO property description, the welcome document, and the welcome email sent prior to arrival. Guests may bring their own or use a local linen rental service, and I’m always happy to assist if questions arise. All communication with this guest was through VRBO messaging and text only. At no point did we speak on the phone, and my responses were polite and professional in addressing the linen situation and reminding them of the departure procedures, and regarding the missing pool fob. Unfortunately, the pool fob was not left behind at checkout, despite this being clearly noted in both the welcome information and departure instructions. This was the guest’s responsibility, and not having these items does impact the next guests. It’s unfortunate that this mistake was taken out on me in the review. The condo is cleaned thoroughly before every arrival. My goal is always to provide a clean, comfortable, and welcoming stay, and I appreciate the opportunity to clarify for future guests.

Carolina beach vacation

Positives:Nice location, outstanding view, very well appointed kitchen, comfortable twin bedsNegatives: outdated and uncomfortable living room furniture, indoor and outdoor tables were bar height - not good for short people, queen bed sunk in the middle

Thank you so much for taking the time to leave a review! We're so glad you enjoyed the beautiful beach location and outstanding view, the well appointed kitchen and comfortable twin beds. We also appreciate your honest feedback about the living room and bar height chairs. The goal is to have the best views from inside the home as well as from outside with unobstructed views. We'll be looking into the queen bed and considering seating options as well. Thanks again for staying with us, we hope to welcome you back in the future!

Great location

We enjoyed our visit to Carolina Beach. The property is older but still comfortable.

CHECK OUT ALL THE PHOTOS! In The Pink Sunskipper, one of the largest 2 bd/2bth layouts, you can't get any closer to being right on the beach with just a few paces from this vacation home. It's surreal sitting on the beach deck or in the living room and watching all the magnificent beauty of the ocean and surroundings. It is certainly a million dollar view and renourishment for the soul. Besides the location, the area of Carolina Beach and all it has to offer the traveler who wants to be laid back or on the go, is in abundance when staying at The Pink Sunskipper.

Right at the beach, Step out the door and you are there, can't get any closer for the views, smells, sounds of the ocean, sunrise, dolphins jumping, fishing boats in the morning for their catch of the day, stimulate all of your senses within this ocean retreat of peace and relaxation. And you can bring your four legged best friend fur baby that is 50 pounds or under, well behaved, well housebroken :)
