Im Erdgeschoss dieses Familien-Ferienhauses befindet sich ein nach Süden ausgerichtetes Wohnzimmer mit einem offenen Kohlenfeuer und französischen Fenstern, die direkt auf den Garten führen, Esszimmer mit einem dekorativen Kamin, voll ausgestattete neue Küche mit einem elektrischen Doppelherdherd, Kühlschrank / Gefrierschrank, Mikrowelle und Geschirrspüler, Hauswirtschaftsraum mit einem weiteren Kühlschrank / Gefrierschrank und Waschmaschine / Trockner und ein separates Duschbad. Auf der ersten Etage befinden sich 3 Doppelzimmer, 1 Schlafraum mit einem zusätzlichen Einzelbett und ein Badezimmer. Es gibt gute Parkmöglichkeiten auf der Straße.

Die Teppiche sind im August 2018 komplett neu.

Der gepflasterte Garten ist nach Süden ausgerichtet und mit einem Tisch, 6 Stühlen, Sonnenschirm und Liegestühlen (je nach Saison) umgeben.

Alle modernen Annehmlichkeiten wie WLAN und grundlegende Küche Zutaten. Es gibt eine erste Versorgung mit Kohle und Anzündholz mit weiteren lokal verfügbaren Vorräten.

Nichtraucherhaus und Haustiere gegen eine zusätzliche Gebühr.

Dieses blühende Küstendorf an der Westküste von Anglesey ist Heimat von drei Meilen langen Sandstränden. Besucher lieben seine lebendige Wassersport-Szene und es ist das ganze Jahr über beliebt zum Windsurfen, Kitesurfen, Kajak fahren, Wandern, Reiten, Golf und Angeln. Llyn Maelog, ein See direkt vor dem Dorf, ist ein wichtiger Lebensraum für Wildtiere und es gibt einige interessante archäologische Stätten in der Nähe, einschließlich einer prähistorischen Grabkammer. Rhosneigr bietet eine herrliche Aussicht auf Snowdonia und die Halbinsel Llyn.

Great Family home with all you need by the beach.

Lovely cosy family home, well equipped and right next to the beach. Fire added to ambience and cosy feel to this lovely home. Don’t expect modern, appreciate a well loved family feeling home!

Super stay in a fantastic location

We had a fabulous stay here, the house was lovely and well equipped. The location of the house is amazing, walking distance to all amenities. The only downside is only having one shower, would be great if there was a shower in the bathroom also as it was quite a queue for the shower room. It wouldn’t put us off though.The host Sophie was great with communication before our arrival and everything went smoothly. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you!

Thank you for your nice review and I’m glad you had a lovely time. We realise it’s a pain with only having one shower and are trying to work out what and how we can do something. The house is very old and was built in 1899 so it’s always a challenge!

Beautiful cottage in a great location

Beautiful cottage in a wonderful location.We spent a lovely week in this cottage.It has everything you need for a great holiday. And it is undoubtedly in a fantastic location.Some things we especially liked:The beach is very close, at the end of the road.The spacious bathroom with a large bath, and separate shower room. The Wi-Fi and tv reception worked really well, with all usual tv apps included. Quality fittings throughout. The cottage is not overlooked at the back. The outside garden area has a secure gate, very useful if you have a dog .We loved it and would return.

Perfect retreat.

We had a wonderful time at The Blue House. It felt like a family home not a let. The family pictures on the walls made us smile. This is a house that has been filled with laughter,love and wonderful memories. We are so looking forward to going back again in August.

Great location - clean - well loved home

We enjoyed our stay very much and really appreciated the close proximity to the beaches, restaurants and shops. There was enough room for everyone (5 of us), and my kids loved their bedrooms. We played some of the games in the sitting room and used the fireplace. The kitchen is very well stocked, including a standing mixer which came in very handy for making birthday cake. We'd recommend this holiday home.

Great 4 day stay

Windy and a little wet but we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this lovely house. Needed a couple of phone calls to the host to turn the heating up especially after the girls went for a deep paddle but resolved in the end. So handy for the beach and other local locations. Hope to return in the future.

Very disappointed

Very tired, poorly prepared. Wood lice in kitchen and shower room. Open drain in shower room, should be cleaned and covered. Evidence of mold, a health concern. Damp on arrival and no way to put on heating. No written instructions in the property as to guide the leaving process. Very poor communication with the owner, unable to open downloads from her. Cupboards smell as does the freezer. Radiator in shower room very very rusty. Can't recommend this property especially if young children are present. Dangerous step into upstairs bathroom, overall cleaning left a lot to be desired. Disappointed on many levels.

My housekeeper has never seen the house left in such a bad state. I have photos from her and it looks awful and dirty. I communicated with you so much and I don't know why you would say I didn't. You sent me 12 messages and I replied to them all and have just counted 19 messages in total plus 4 emails to you. If that's poor communication I don't know what else I could have done. The house has had alot of work done and was redecorated throughout 6 months ago so I'm not sure you can call it tired.

Exactly what was needed

No complaints. Everything was as advertised with the property, location next to the beach and High Street/shops is perfect and the weather made Rhosneigr even more delightful than usual.

Stayed here over the October half term Four adults four children and willow the golden retriever We all had a great time The house is in an ideal location less than 30 metres to the sea Rhosneigr is a fantastic place to visit and has enough restaurants,pubs and shops without getting to busy we love it The house was large enough for us all with a new kitchen and carpets fitted We had some initial trouble with the heating but emailed the owner and it was soon sorted out We also made great use of the open fire another super feature We would of preferred an upstairs shower but the bath was fine and filled up really quickly the water was piping hot. And we also used the downstairs shower room Overall a hugely enjoyable stay

Lovely house by the beach

We are 4 old golfers and this place was perfect for us. Handy for bull bay, Holyhead and just a mile from Anglesey golf club. We self cater and everything you need is there in the kitchen. It's clean, spacious, warm (nice fire in lounge) and shops and pubs in walking distance. Bedrooms were fine and very comfortable for 4 adults. Great shower. And you could throw a golf ball to the beach which is about 40 yards away. Couldn't be better.

Brilliant location, spacious, homely

Staying at this older property reminded us of our 1933 home with it's charm and character. It is conveniently situated a stones throw from the sandy beach, local shops and take away, with Holyhead only a few miles away for grocery shopping. The kids loved filling their pockets with 'special shells and stones' and exploring the rock pools. It was handy having access to the shower room via the back door, to rinse off sandy little feet...and big feet...after a day spent on the beach making sandcastles. It is also popular with wind and water sports. Looking forward to our next visit.

Nice location but house not really in adequate repair

The house is well located close to the beach and facilities of Rhosneigr. However we were disappointed with the state of the house. There has clearly been a problem with damp and there are large stains on the walls and ceiling in many of the rooms including the children's bedroom, bathroom and lounge. My children were very concerned about this. The kitchen is very old and tatty and really needs updating. The kitchen floor and worktops are so tatty it is hard to see if they are clean. The dishwasher does work but is clearly very old and tatty. We couldn't work out how to turn the cooker on. The carpets throughout are threadbare and dirty. The cold tap in the bathroom did not turn off fully and clearly needs some attention. Although I understand that this is a 'well loved family home' I would personally feel embarrassed to let it out to paying guests in its current state. We enjoyed the restaurants in Rhosneigr and only ate breakfast at the house.

I'm sorry you were disappointed with the house and didn't enjoy your stay. I'm afraid with these holiday homes there is always a bit of damp due to the way they were built in 1900. We try to keep on top of it but this is not an easy task. We have a dehumidifier in the house all year round except when there are guests. Our housekeeper cleans the house before and after every guest so I'm sorry if you thought the kitchen was tatty and the carpets dirty and threadbare. My opinion is biased but I do not know which carpets you are referring to. Admittedly the dining room/hall is the oldest but not threadbare and some of the bedroom ones are only a couple of years old. I did email you regarding the cold tap which happened the day before you arrived. As you didn't come back to me, I felt unable to make an appointment for a plumber to come to the house as I didn't want to allow them access during your stay without your permission. You didn't give me your mobile number so I was unable to call you, however you did have my number and could have called me at any time especially as you couldn't work the cooker. After the check-out time I understand our housekeeping team were very accommodating seeing that a car was left in the garden (which is not a drive) and you returned to use the loo. We try our best to make everyone's stay as comfortable as possible.

A true home from home steps from the beach

A relaxing, homely spacious house in the perfect position - every home character comfort making it an enjoyable stay. We were aged 8 to 81 and it ticked all our boxes. We'll be back!
