Great experience!

We booked this resort 100% last minute when we shifted our trip to Kauai (from Maui). It was clean, great amenities for the kids (FUN pool), right on beach, very centrally located in Kapp'a and easy to get to places. Our condo was super spacious, which becomes more important to us as our kids get older (14 and 12, now)... having laundry and a full working kitchen was excellent. A couple nits- pool bar/restaurant opens late (maybe 3 pm) and chairs near beach could use some updating. Overall a great trip and would recommend to others.

What a great vacation spot! Beautiful condo and property with an awesome pool. Our unit was fantastic but was minimally stocked compared to our friends units in the same complex. Not a knock on this condo as we would love to come back. It’s just something to be aware of and to come prepared for.

Beautiful location and unit. 1)We never got an email or a text to check in so I had to call Kauai Exclusive to get the email. 2) We reported the ice maker in the fridge not working and some of the plugs in the master bedroom to the left not working, it never got fixed the day reported. We never got a call back on my phone..I called on the 2nd day in the morning on this status again asking and they said someone would come and switch out a part. The person came to do this in the morning on the third day but no ice ever came out of the sub zero fridge. The guy also claimed the plugs were fixed that it had something to do with the fuse box. Last but not least, my wife told this maintenance guy that there was an alarm of some sort sounding which was going off the entire stay possibly from the next unit?. We couldn't hear it after going into the bedroom but it was definitely noticeable in the common living room. Other than not having ice (they did bring up some plastic containers later on for us to fill with water to make our own ice. Other than these problems the unit was nice.

Great condo

The condo had everything we needed and was very comfortable. The location between the north shore and south shore allowed us to enjoy both of those areas without too much driving. The pool was a lot of fun with several waterfalls and a slide.

Loved it - perfect for family vacation

The interior is very well appointed, high-quality everything (appliances, furniture, beds, construction, etc). The room is very well insulated for noise - we didn't hear anything or anyone outside our room when doors/windows were closed. The location at first seems a little disappointing as the view is meh, but, we soon appreciated the quiet, easy access, shielded from direct wind (it was really windy all week), etc. Nothing negative to report. Couple things that might be helpful to know: I don't know if it is a covid thing or what but there was zero food stuff (e.g., salt/pepper, other spices etc) so be prepared to get everything you need to cook. There are no extras like boogie boards, pool toys, beach toys, etc. like some condos (in the same complex) offer. We didn't need or expect any of this so really didn't impact us.

Perfect for fam of 5

Two adults in master, two children in one bedroom an another had living room to self. All had own tv’s, space, bathrooms. Perfect for nearly two week vaca with family. Location is perfect: Across the street from Safeway which has a pharmacy, shave ice, ice cream, restaurants, clothing stores and tourist store. Also a Ross is in the complex across the street in case you forgot anything like flip-flops or shorts. Highly recommend placing a Safeway grocery store “to go” order in the days leading up to your trip so you can pick up your order the day of or day after you arrive and all your groceries are already packed up and waiting for you.

Great 2bdrm Condo

This was a great condo for the 4 of us. The property is lovely and the unit was clean and spacious with lots of amenities. It's a very good location for getting around other parts of the island. This unit doesn't have an "ocean view" but we didn't stay inside much. Very nice pool area also. The management was very responsive to the very few requests we had.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: A great property that was a perfect home base for our family of 4 (kids aged 9 and 7) for a week in Kauai! The property feels like a beachfront resort with an enormous pool with towel service, waterslides, and multiple hot tubs - kids wanted to spend all day there. Location is also very convenient - walking distance to lots of shops, restaurants and grocery stores. Condo itself is fantastic - large kitchen, washer/dryer, 2 bedrooms with attached bathrooms + 1 additional bathroom, lanai is small but big enough to seat 4 people for dinner. no great views (mountain view is over the parking lot, no ocean view) but you know that going in. overall was absolutely perfect for our family of 4 - would stay here again in a heartbeat. thanks for a wonderful stay!

Family Vacation

This condo and resort property were amazing. This was our first time visiting Kauai and it did not disappoint. Our kids loved the waterslides and lazy River pool. We also loved the beach in front of the property. The beds were really comfortable and the kitchen was really spacious and beautiful. The AC worked really well and the rooms had nice blackout curtains. The only issue we had was that the water heater was making a weird beeping sound. The property management did their best trying to get the maintenance guys to fix the issue but were unable to before we left. They did compensate us for the issue and apologized for the inconvenience. I still highly recommend this property. We will definitely be back!

Our family absolutely loved staying in this condo. It is nicely furnished with good bedding and plenty of towels. There is a nice open view of the mountains. The carpet seemed brand new. The kitchen is pretty well stocked, except for no oven mitts and only 2 kitchen towels were provided. Laundry is very convenient. The condo provided laundry soap, dish soap, shampoo, conditioner etc. Checking in with the door code provided was super easy. Waipouli is a great location, near the airport and in the middle of the island, if you want to explore either end. We would absolutely stay here again.

Fantastic place, good for kids, good price

The kitchen, room, and deck/lanai layouts were roomy and well appointed. Our family of 4 adults and a 5 year old found it very comfortable. Just note that roll-away beds are not available so you have to use the sofa-bed in the living room if a 3rd bed is needed. I asked my son after our trip what his favorite part about a week in Hawaii was and he said "the waterslides" at the resort. If you have young kids who aren't ready to be in the ocean all day, this place has a great lazy river, waterfall grotto, and waterslides that will keep them entertained when you aren't out enjoying the rest of the island. The location is about halfway from the far north and the far south of the island, so we found it ideal for daily touring trips. We enjoyed the whole island.

Our on-island team is made up of individuals who were either born and raised on Kaua‘i or have called the island home for many years.
