Ciao Maike! What a great experience with you and your super nice, kind and friendly family! Thank you for sharing your impressions about your holiday with us! The description you provided concretly show our contest: we're located in a little hidden corner of world where relax and peace are the ones! And, in the meantime, where directly close to the city center of Diano Marina and the services that this family-friendly town offer. Thank you also for specifying the train station question. We're placed at around 2 kilometers from it, but we're pretty close in line air. Our apartment has heavy windows with double glassess and the apartment has a very efficient air conditioning service, so it's absolutely possible to sleep in fresh conditions closing the windows during the night. This is a good help for people who are light sleepers. And in any case, we do our best to show with trasparence all details of our home and the surroundings: so thank you again, this will be usefull for those who'll read this page! Dear Emilian, thank you for sharing here your holiday impressions. I'm happy you've appreciated our hospitality and our approch. This is a strong point for us, and we always do our best to create a friendly atmosphere with visitors that choose us for their stay. Thank you for your gratitude about it! About the street, the last few tens of meters are a bit steep but all the path is totally asphalted and the entrance way of our house is totally well cemented. The conditions you mean are absolutely normal in our territory, where mountains fall directly in the sea and where opposite geographical worlds share the same frame. Our territory is beloved for this kind of variety; there aren't flatlands or long streets withour curves, and this is true. But it's also true that your car was a sedan with a very low suspension setup. We know that it's not possible to imaginate everything about an unknown place; but, in any case, this variety is one of the most typical conditions of our land. In any case, we always are available with all visitors to provide infos, tips or details before the stay, to clarify in the best way the holiday mood in our land. About the rest we can only have positive memories with you: your kindness and the polite way in which you've always communicated with us. Yes, we confirm the train is not so far, considering the crow flies. In any case this is the only sound that sometimes is possible to hear during the night: La Meloria is 2 Kms far from the center of Diano Marina, and then, all the 'town sounds' are strongly reduced. In summer, it's helpful to keep close the windows (with double glass) and keep on the air conditioning: it help to reduce the sound. Thank you for everything, we hope to host you again. La Meloria is located only 2 Km in the hinterland; this position guarantee a sufficien nearless to the sea and also more quiteness than the coastal places; but it's not so far from some typical coastal services (train stations, etc.) like a village located in the remote hinterland. To find a car park is less easier than in winter but we have some tips that are helpful to find a car park for reach the nearest beaches and the sea entertainments.
