Lovely condo on the beach

We just returned from 5 nights at this Kihei condo. The place was immaculate, furnished perfectly, and in a great location. We appreciated the little extras like beach chairs and a cooler. the location is great, between 2 gorgeous beaches. The buolding has a beautiful lawn where we watched the sunset each night. We will definitely be back.

I’ll start by saying the location was incredible. However there was a few things that did not meet what we were expecting. For starters the listing said there was a pull out couch, but when we went to open the couch, there was a sign that said they would charge us 200 to open it? There was six of us and needed that extra bed. We were also only provided 4 towels, the place wasn’t the cleanest (couch, walls, saw roaches on multiple days) and the pillows could be upgraded.. the standards just didn’t reflect the price point of this unit.

Great place for my family!

My husband and our 20+ year old kids had a wonderful time here! Excellent location, access to the beach and fun places to eat in Kihei! We loved being able to walk around the area and shop and eat Hawaiian foods! Love all the amenities like washer and dryer and even the beach chairs, body board, and ice chests! Nicely furnished and well decorated!

The view and accommodations were amazing! Great access to the beach, nice pool, good snorkeling right out in front, restaurants and stores across the street. The only downside to being close to everything is the road noise at night.

Beautiful overlooking the beach and pool. Easy access with stairwell to oceanfront. Elevator nearby. Pleasant breeze cooling the unit. Snorkeling with sea turtles and people enjoying the water. Excellent beach.

Great location, well used property

Stayed here for 10 days. Location was great and views were amazing. Sofa was well used and didn’t feel that clean. Probably from people sitting in it wearing sunscreen. Didn’t need AC with windows open but it gets loud very early in the morning. BBQ and pool area very clean, nice path to beach. Beach chairs were a bonus

Excellent Condo and Location

This condo was great, a little small for our 6 people, but overall it worked good. We were thankful for the air conditioners. The condo was stocked well and was beautifully decorated. The shower/bathroom for the extra bedroom was a little small but ok. View was great, they had some beach chairs, books to read, smash ball game, and beach towels. We love the location, right between 2 great beaches with lifeguards, no need to drive to the beach to play or snorkel. Lot's of shopping across the street, restaurants, and places to rent snorkel gear and paddle boards.

Nice spot on the beach

Small but nicely remodeled. Only issue was un-vented dryer which did not really work. The property manager lent us a drying rack. There was little shade downstairs and none on the balcony. We could have used a pair of Tommy Bahama low beach chairs. The two available were children size.

This condo has everything you want. Comfortable large beds, clean up to date and well stocked kitchen and nice bathrooms. The lower rating is because there are roosters outside that make noise all night every night. Between that and the noisy AC which also made an intermittent noise all night every night that made it difficult to sleep. Note there is no hot tub by the pool. If not for the problem with noise we would come back to this condo again and again. The proximity to the beach (good snorkeling right below the apartment) and many terrific restaurants and rentals right across the street make this location hard to beat.

Welcome to turtle town

Great property great view. Elevator was on the fritz several times witch was a challenge as we had family with knee problems. Would stay again loved watching the turtles out front every day

No A/C!!

I can overlook the dirty couches, but sleeping without A/C was MISERABLE! The rooms were 80 degrees, and even with fans blowing directly on us it was the worst nights sleep ever. We left after one night and went to a hotel. The kitchen is a one-person one only, and don't look under the sink. It's gross. Overall I was very disappointed in this very old, non-updated condo complex. Much better off staying in a hotel than most VRBO properties.

Beautiful View

This condo was great with an awesome view from the lanai which gives you sunrise to sunset ! Specifically booked this unit for the view and was not disappointed. The added beach chairs and cooler was a plus, location is great and not too far of a drive to Lahanai if you wish to shop although there are some shops and restaurants across the street which was very convenient. The unit itself was nice we were fine with no air condition but i think others may have a problem with this especially in the summer months (we were told before finalizing our booking that it had no air so no surprise here) Only thing is I thought it was a bit pricy other than that we loved our time in Maui at this condo ! Thanks again !

Great Location!

This condo is in a great location and has a wonderful view of the ocean from the Lanai. We were a group of girls celebrating a milestone birthday. We enjoyed walking right onto the beach and the beach is an excellent swimming beach. The condo is located between two great beaches and you can sometimes see turtles near the rocks. If it had been whale season I'm positive we would have seen whales from the Lanai. The staff were friendly and helpful - thanks Jeff for keeping the grounds so well maintained! Across the street are some great little shops including a general store, wine shop, and restaurants. The condo itself was good, although it could use some updating and the living area furniture could use a cleaning. We spent most of our time on the beach or on the Lanai. Appliances worked well. Condo came stoked with some beach chairs and a small cooler which we used on a daily basis. The barbecues and pool are kept up very well and the garden area in front of the condo has lots of lounge chairs for just sitting and enjoying the sunset with a good bottle of wine. We would definitely rent a condo at Kamaole Nalu again.
