Willkommen in der Villa Tropical Orchid, einem ruhigen Zufluchtsort, der sich perfekt fĂŒr Paare oder Alleinreisende eignet. Diese exquisite, gewölbte Villa in der obersten Etage besteht aus einem Schlafzimmer / einem Badezimmer mit Dusche.

Das Schlafzimmer ist mit einem handgeschnitzten Mahagoni-Queensize-Himmelbett, einem Waschbecken, einer Sitzecke und direktem Zugang zur Veranda ausgestattet. Der Wohnbereich bietet einen komfortablen Sitzbereich und eine voll ausgestattete KĂŒche mit GeschirrspĂŒler. Auf Wunsch gibt es eine Klimaanlage. Die Passatwinde bieten jedoch eine luftige, kĂŒhle Brise, wenn Sie die Klimaanlage nicht nutzen möchten.

Die Villa Tropical Orchid verfĂŒgt ĂŒber eine Veranda mit Blick auf die HĂŒgel und einen spektakulĂ€ren Blick auf das Meer nach SĂŒden in Richtung Saint Croix, die Inseln Frenchman's Cap und Little St James. DarĂŒber hinaus gibt es eine private Terrasse mit einem Grill, der sich neben der KĂŒche befindet.

Ich habe fĂŒr Sie bereitgestellt: StrandtĂŒcher, LiegestĂŒhle, KĂŒhler, Haartrockner, BĂŒgeleisen und BĂŒgelbrett.
Nach einem Tag am Strand und der Erkundung der Insel können Sie sich zurĂŒcklehnen, ein Glas Wein trinken und die Aussicht auf das Meer von Ihrer privaten Terrasse aus genießen.

Diese Villa ist nur fĂŒr zwei Erwachsene, nicht fĂŒr Kinder geeignet. Dies ist eine Nichtraucheranlage.

Wir sind nur 1. 2 Meilen von der Stadt Cruz Bay und ca. 3 Minuten zu den StrĂ€nden von North Shore entfernt. FĂŒr diejenigen, die ein Auto mieten, gibt es einen privaten Parkplatz abseits der Straße.

Saint John ist bekannt fĂŒr die Jeeps mit Allradantrieb. Spaß beim Fahren auf und ab in Kurven mit langsamen Geschwindigkeiten von 20 bis 30 Meilen pro Stunde. Wenn Sie einen Standard-Mietwagen bevorzugen, sind die Straßen zum Studio neu und einfach zu befahren.

FĂŒr Taxifahrten stehen am FĂ€hranleger Taxis bereit, die Sie den HĂŒgel hinauf zu Ihrer Villa bringen. Auf der Insel ist die Fahrt mit dem Taxi einfach, Sie mĂŒssen kein Auto mieten. Telefonnummern von Taxifahrern finden Sie in Ihrem Studio. Schöne StrĂ€nde sind leicht zu erreichen und nur wenige Minuten von Ihrer Villa entfernt.

Cute Villa with a direct view of Great Cruz Bay

Host was very nice and helpful. Patio has a nice view of the bay and valley. We had breakfast on the patio several days. Beach towels, chairs, and small cooler made beach trips easy.

Perfect Anniversary Getaway

For us it was the perfect spot to stay why we explored St. John everyday. We didn't spend much time in the room so we werent looking for much as far as room accomodations. The view is amazing (only drawback is it faces due south so you dont catch any sunrises or sunsets) and the bed was comfortable. If we were spending any real time in the room I would have wanted a little more for the comfort factor but thats not what we were there for. Host is a very sweet woman who will be more than helpful for anything you need. Also since no one told us... dont book a ferry in advance! That just locks you into a certain company which may not be the next to depart when you arrive. Even if you do book in advance, its still first come first served regardless of your reservation time. Also.... buy your groceries in St. Thomas BEFORE you come over to St. John. The prices and selection will far outweigh what you can get in St. John. Despite being right jext to the hosts house, it still felt very private. Host provided many basic things like towels, toiletries, beach gear....etc. which was really nice. She even got us gift certificates to a local spot for our anniversary which was really sweet and thoughtful.

Gorgeous views, comfortable stay

The cozy villa sits high above Great Cruz Bay with stunning views. We prepared breakfasts and lunches in the well-equipped kitchen and enjoyed sitting on the porch overlooking the bay, welcoming occasional visits from hummingbirds and bananaquits. Host communicated well and was available for inside information about the island.

Monetta was a great resource for the property details, island outings, dinning suggestions and more. She met us at the car ferry so we could follow her to the villa. Balcony views from the rental were oustanding, proximity to Cruz Bay was really nice, but far enough away to be very peaceful. 100% recommended!

Last minute getaway

My wife and I booked a last minute trip to St. John. Jacqueline and her daughter were extremely helpful and welcoming hosts that were always available to answer questions about the property or the island itself. Property has a great view and location about a half mile up Centerline Road from the town of Cruz Bay. Great property and location for any couple looking for a quiet getaway to paradise.

Wonderful hostess and gorgeous views

This is a beautiful and well located property if you want to be near Cruz Bay but away from the bustle. The views and cross breezes are stunning. Jackie is a superb host who is super knowledgeable. The property has several apartments in the complex and we stayed in her original home. Each is well maintained and private. Everything is easy access. Perfect for a couple on holiday. Beautiful views in ideal location

We loved our stay at Villa Tropical Orchid. The Villa is located in the hills above Cruz Bay so we enjoyed spectacular views in a peaceful private setting, yet just a few minutes drive to downtown Cruz Bay for restaurants , bars, shops, etc. A great location and easy to see the love that Jacqueline, the owner puts into her home and how she prides herself in making the experience a great one for her guests - including fresh flowers to welcome us. Nice touch. We especially loved relaxing on the deck while being entertained by the many pretty birds, and absorbing the views of Great Cruise Bay and beyond. Just lovely.The Villa has ample dressers and storage space to really settle in and feel at home, and importantly for me, good lighting for bedside reading. My husband had a little trouble with the TV, but we weren't there to watch TV! We would stay there again.

This is the perfect villa for St John. We loved everything about it. The views from the deck and hot tub are incredible We loved having our morning coffee on the deck and a glass of wine at night in the jacuzzi. The villa is cozy, clean and has everything you need. Jackie, the owner was wonderful. She provided us with information in advance of our stay and was available if we needed anything while we were there. We are definitely coming back!

Beyond Expectations

The property is lovely and the pictures don't do it justice. The covered porch, 4 poster bed and hot tub were some of our favorite features. The sugar birds are always fun entertainment. Jacqueline was lovely and helpful, too! We are regulars to the island so we didn't need alot of input but she is right back to you if you need her. We would happily return in the future when we are just 2!

Absolutely fabulous

My husband and I recently spent 5 days at Jaqueline’s house in St. John and we could have been more happy with our stay. This is far more than just a house to stay, it’s filled with such love and joy that you can feel as soon as you walk in. The house is in a great location, close enough to Cruz Bay but far enough that you aren’t staying directly in the craziness. And nothing can beat the view. Jaqueline herself is truly wonderful, always willing to answer questions, give great recommendations, or share stories of her time living on the island for the last 40 years. My husband I will definitely be returning to stay again!

I fell in love with St John, the gem of the islands. For many years, our summer home was on Madeline Island in Wisconsin on Lake Superior. St. John became the perfect island winter home for us. We filled our days with beach-combing, snorkeling, hiking the National Park trails and learning the island history. Building our home here was a big adventure. I have completed the dream and I want to share it with you.

This island is now my permanent home. For 28 years and I have had the honor to host guests for many of these years. I love to hear their stories and share mine.
