Sea Urchins Hütte wurde im Jahr 2016 zu einer ausgezeichneten Spezifikation gebaut. Im Erdgeschoss befindet sich eine Veranda und eine große Eingangshalle mit Garderobe / WC, die durch eine großzügige offene Lounge / Ess- / Küchenbereich führt. Doppelte Terrassentüren führen auf den Garten mit Sitzgelegenheiten im Freien und Meerblick. Im Obergeschoss befinden sich zwei Schlafzimmer. Der Master hat ein Kingsize-Bett, einen Balkon mit herrlichem Meerblick und eigenem Bad. Das zweite Schlafzimmer kann entweder aus zwei kleinen Einzelbetten oder einem Kingsize-Bett mit einem großen Bad mit Dusche bestehen. Wir bieten Ihnen ein weiteres Campingbett (vorzugsweise nur für Kinder) mit Bettwäsche, das je nach Wunsch in jedes Schlafzimmer passt. Es gibt auch ein Reisebett für ein Kind, wenn nötig. Draußen gibt es eine Rasenfläche und Parkplätze für zwei Autos.

Sea Urchins Cottage befindet sich auf der Bucht-Entwicklung, ein preisgekrönter Ferienpark an der Küste von Yorkshire, mit privatem Zugang bis zum Strand. Die Bucht ist eine gute Basis für diejenigen, die Sport oder Outdoor-Aktivitäten genießen - Sie haben freien Zugang zu den großen beheizten Hallenbad, Kleinkind Pool, Sauna / Dampfbad und Fitnessraum. Es gibt auch einen kleinen Spielplatz, Fußballplatz und Bouleplätze. Andere Aktivitäten sind vor Ort für eine kleine Gebühr - Bogenschießen, Fechten, Beauty-Behandlungen / Massage, Tischtennis, Tennis, Putting Green, Aqua-Aerobic und andere Pool-Aktivitäten zur Verfügung. Die Seite hat einen Angelsee, wilde Wiesen und Teiche für Naturliebhaber. Die Bucht bietet auch Fahrradverleih und andere saisonale Aktivitäten (zB Kajaksee).

Vor Ort gibt es auch ein öffentliches Haus, ein Café / Restaurant, eine Apotheke (mit ein paar Grundnahrungsmitteln) und ein neues Family Entertainment Center (Unterhaltung).

Von der Bucht aus können Sie am Strand nach Filey laufen. Sie sind auch nur eine kurze Fahrt von Bridlington, Flamborough, Bempton Cliffs und Scarborough. Etwas weiter entfernt sind Whitby, Robin Hoods Bay, York und die North Yorks Moors.

Lovely detached cottage

Quiet location, very close to the beach path. Very clean, well equipped. Beautiful en-suite bathroom and shower room. Comfortable mattress and great sea views from the main bedroom. Fourth time we have been to The Bay, this was the best cottage we have stayed in. Great customer service from the moment we arrived. Amazing, sunny October break

A lovely cosy cottage with everything we needed for our stay. Comfortable sofas and beds. We chose sea urchins because it had two ensuite bathrooms and a TV in each bedroom. And most importantly it was close to the beach and walks for the dogs. It even had a sea view. We all had an amazing stay and would go back again. Very dog friendly.

A wonderful stay at Sea Urchins

Just returned after our first stay at sea urchins cottage. We couldn’t recommend this highly enough. It is in a great position close to the main facilities but also near the beach path and sea views. The cottage was super clean and the beds and chairs were extremely comfortable. Everything you could think of in the kitchen for cooking and eating. Lots of little touches which make all the difference. We shall certainly be back again.

Vey nice cottage in a great location

This is a lovely property, excellent condition through out and high spec of furnishings, towels, bedding, kitchen appliances etc. Very well presented and thoughtfully designed - a real home from home. Sea Urchins Cottage is a lovely house set in a lovely complex

What an excellent modern, clean house with all the mod cons you would need to make any length of stay a good one. Good Wi-Fi, excellent TV. The decor throughout is lovely and the bathrooms are superb. The location is great and only a 10 minute walk to the beach. The bay is a lovely quiet place and we will be back.

Absolutely loved it !

We loved this cottage, everything we needed for a home away break was in the cottage. Location was fabulous for the beach and the local pub on site and the log fire was the perfect ambiance in the evening (fluffy socks & cosy toes). Loved the balcony in the master bedroom, open the blinds to a sea view with a nice cuppa. We will most definitely book this cottage again

Lovely house with all the amenities you would need. The Covid cleanliness was excellent and gave much needed reassurance in these odd time. We have stayed at The Bay before , but this property has an excellent location and being able to see the sea was lovely.

We are Paula and Tim Foster. We live in Sheffield, South Yorkshire.

We have 3 school age children, and love visiting Filey - the children love it too and have their favourite shops, cafes, and ice-cream stalls, as do we!

We regularly visit "the Bay" - staying in our first holiday home (Sea Urchins beach house ref 8162520) which we have owned since March 2014. We've owned the Cottage since September 2016, and I (Paula) now manage both properties.

Darum fiel die Entscheidung auf diese Unterkunft

We love visiting the Bay - staying in our first holiday home (Sea Urchins beach house ref 8162520) every couple of months. On one visit, we found out they were building some homes with balconies and sea views, and we just had to have one as its always been a dream to have a view of the sea and Filey in the distance!

We were first introduced to the resort of Filey around 9 years ago and we have holidayed there nearly every year since.

The beach is excellent - clean, sandy and not too crowded. We have spent many happy days building sandcastles, paddling in the sea and playing beach cricket. The town of Filey has a variety of small shops and cafés, and glen gardens park is excellent for children. We like the fact you can walk easily from one end of Filey to the other, down to the harbour to watch the fishing boats and play in the arcades, or up into the country park to get some great views.

We have our favourite places to visit - Sewerby Hall (with a small zoo), Bempton cliffs RSPB, Flamborough, Scarborough and Whitby (including the steam railway to Pickering). All within a short drive.

We now stay at either property when we visit, and make them available to others when we are not there.

Das macht diese Unterkunft einzigartig

The Cottage has the benefit of both bedrooms being ensuite for extra privacy, and the second bedroom can be made up for children or adults as it has a zip and link bed. As we are a family of 5, we have a further camp bed, as we appreciate the difficulties in finding holidays when you are not a family of 4!

The master bedroom has a full width balcony with seating to take in the sea view to the front and side.

The downstairs is open plan, great for family time, and the kitchen has all the mod-cons (dishwasher, washer-dryer, microwave etc).

The Cottage is also very close (one of the closest) to the path down to the beach, making it really easy to explore the beach. It is also only a few minutes walk to the resort centre where there is a pool, pub and cafe. There are no passing cars (apart from those staying at the final few properties before the beach road) which makes it quiet in terms of road traffic, but you can sit and watch people passing on their walk to the beach.
