Playa Caribe #5 is a luxury condominium providing all the amenities you would have at home: high thread count sheets, full kitchen, pool, central air conditioning, free dedicated Wi-Fi and Smart TV. Add to this the daily maid service, and you will not want to leave! Just because you have a kitchen doesn't mean you have to cook. A short walk up or down the beach leads to two excellent beachside restaurants: La Lunita and La Buena Vida. There are many restaurants to choose from.

Playa Caribe enjoys a great location along Half Moon Bay, centrally located within walking distance to Akumal Bay and Yal-Lu Lagoon. The snorkeling is excellent right in front. You can also choose to spend your time relaxing in the beachside swimming pool. Tastefully designed and decorated, Playa Caribe Condominiums are a pleasure.

Playa Caribe offers 12 condominium units over four floors centered off of a tropical atrium that extends the full height of the building. Playa Caribe units are available for your vacation as either one or two bedroom units. Playa Caribe #5

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our first time at Playa Caribe but have been to Akumal over 10 times. We decided to try PC for the pool, which isn't very common on Half Moon Bay. We were very pleased to have the pool as the ocean was lapping right up to the property. The unit itself far exceeded our expectations. Unit 5 provided two oceanfront bedrooms, a more than adequate living and kitchen space and excellent service by the staff on hand. We spent evenings on our lovely deck, listening to the ocean and enjoying the stars. Special notes: Housekeeping service was superb! Linens were lovely. Beds divine. Showers large although, as is typical in Akumal, hot water was spotty. We had everything we needed in the kitchen. Very safe, welcoming and property overall in beautiful and clean condition. Eager to get back!

Mooi verblijf

We hebben genoten van ons verblijf in Akumal. Mooi appartement, met 2 grote kamers en badkamers, zeer goed onderhouden. Het terras met prachtig uitzicht is een surplus. De check in verliep ook heel vlot.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We love the management of Playa Caribe, Augustine is responsive and efficient. Patricia is wonderful with the housekeeping. We would not stay in #5 again as it was not well supplied and the fancy mirrors worked part of the time. Basic supplies such as a can opener were missing. We will chose other condos in that complex.

Beautiful condo and location

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This a wonderful unit--clean, breezy, and set up nicely for two couples or a family. Really, the condo (and the sunny weather) were the highlights of our trip. For some reason the hot water was not working in the showers and was not fixed however.
