La Sirena liegt abseits der Massen am nördlichen Punkt der Half Moon Bay und ist ruhig und friedlich. Von hier aus haben Sie einige der besten Aussichten auf die Bucht. Die Unterkunft La Sirena ist um einen umzäunten Gartenhof herum angeordnet. Die Eigentumswohnungen mit zwei Schlafzimmern bieten einen uneingeschränkten Meerblick und einen schönen, kühlen Gartenblick auf den Innenhof. Der Innenhof des Gartens ist um einen großen Pool herum angelegt, in dem sich eine ganze Runde befindet.



Sirena 14 ist eine dritte Ebene (Dachgeschoss) Einheit mit Blick auf die Küste und den Strand. Hohe Decken und ein geräumiger Grundriss sorgen für ein luftiges Raumgefühl. Vom Haupteingang gelangen Sie in den offenen Wohnbereich, der einen Essbereich mit Platz für vier Personen, eine sehr große Küche mit Meerblick sowie eine Frühstücksbar und einen Hauptsitzbereich umfasst. Der abgesenkte Sitzbereich befindet sich nur wenige Schritte vom Haupteingang entfernt und bietet einen freien Meerblick von hinten nach vorne. Der Wohnbereich ist komfortabel mit einem eingebauten Sofabereich ausgestattet und wird mit einer großen und leisen Mini-Split-Klimaanlage gekühlt. Glastüren vom versunkenen Sitzbereich führen Sie auf die Terrasse zur Meerseite, die gut eingerichtet ist, um die Aussicht und die Brise zu genießen. Dies ist der perfekte Ort, um alles in den frühen Morgen- und Abendstunden zu genießen.



Auf der Rückseite des Geräts befinden sich die beiden Schlafzimmer. Das Hauptschlafzimmer ist cool und erholsam. Es ist mit einem Kingsize-Bett ausgestattet und verfügt über eine Gartenterrasse und ein eigenes Bad. Das Gästezimmer ist auch mit einem Kingsize-Bett ausgestattet und verfügt über eine Gartenterrasse und ein eigenes Bad. Beide Schlafzimmer haben Pillow-Top-Matratzen und sind mit leisen und effizienten Mini-Split-Klimaanlagen gekühlt.

Quiet and peaceful

Exactly as pictured! We spent most of our time on the balcony or snorkeling just off the beach (an unexpected benefit). The community was a bit quieter than we anticipated, but some great restaurant close by, and can’t beat the proximity to YalKu! A very comfortable and relaxing stay.

Incredible condo with stunning views

We loved staying here and enjoyed all the activities of the Yucatan peninsula. The best part was walking out the door and snorkeling in gorgeous Half Moon Bay. This is a beautiful condominium with colorful, well-maintained gardens and a lovely pool. We'll be back!

Beautiful!

Would definitely recommend. It's in a gated area that is very safe, with restaurants within a short walk, and more within a short driving distance. The apartment itself was spacious, comfortable, and clean. Staff was friendly. Reef snorkeling is right outside and we saw plenty of sea life: Corals, colorful fishes, barracuda, and more. There is also Lagoon Ya Kul that is a short walk away with plenty of fish as well. This is a dream location for snorkel lovers!

Perfect spot in Half Moon Bay

My husband and I loved staying here. The unit is beautiful and spacious, room for a family or two couples if you wanted to share. The grounds are lovely, the beach front is quiet and you have snorkelling right at your doorstep in the protected bay. You can walk to a few restaurants near by if you want to eat out, or buy some groceries on the way and cook in the full kitchen. Great for entertaining. The lagoon is walking distance away as well. You need to pay to enter, but it would be a great day activity with a young family. Mayan temples near by and the town of Akumal.

Amazing view

Wonderful area to stay, largely sargasso free because of the shallow reef and the currents, which keeps this rather rocky end of the bay clear, as is most of the snorkeling part of the bay. Good news is that a barrrier was being put into place as we were there to hopefully block the large pods of sargasso that has been affecting so much of the coastline in recent years. La Sirenas also has wondrful gardens around their large private pool, as well as their private oceanside raised sand beach, which is always seaweed free. We have stayed in this area many times over the past 20 years and it is always a pleasure to return. Now if I just had better knees to climb all the stairs!

We have been traveling to Akumal since 2004, starting at the Akumal Beach Resort and then renting condos on Half Moon Bay. This was our first stay at La Sirena and we loved it! The grounds were beautiful and well kept. The condo itself (unit 14) was roomy, comfortable, well equipped, and has a great view of Half Moon Bay. Francesca and her staff were great. Other than so-so water pressure in the shower (not a deal breaker by any means), we loved everything about La Sirena and would definitely return.

Far from the crowd, beautiful views

Loved the view of the ocean from this condo. Lots of space. The pool area was also very clean and nice to have as the ocean is very shallow and rocky by the condo. The condo building has gorgeous well maintained gardens. The condo has a lovely deck but the birds were very upset when we used it (must be a nest close by.) The condo is an over a mile from town. We rented bikes which helped. A couple of things to note: the sliding door needs a handle for ease in opening. The stairwell could also use a thorough cleaning but otherwise we highly recommend.

Didn’t seem super clean, but this is more a function of the aging condition of floors, counters and fixtures. Beds are comfortable. Kitchen is adequately stocked. Management company is very responsive and addressed questions and a couple of issues immediately. The grounds at LaSirena are beautiful and well maintained. The view from the condo is awesome. There is easy access to snorkeling. The outdoor positives offset any shortcomings of the condo itself.

Love La Sirena

Snorkeling right out the front door and the most spectacular gardens I’ve seen here anywhere! Just beautiful! The only issue we had was that our unit was not clean to start with and never really got cleaned. A quick sweep of the floors and changing garbage bags out is not cleaning. The unit itself was in need of a deep clean overall. Also the dining room chairs were terribly uncomfortable with the sun poking us in the back every time we sat down and they were very difficult to move. Otherwise this place was lovely. Incredible views and a lovely outdoor patio front and back. Loved it!

Spacious Condo on Half Moon Bay

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed our stay here. I loved that the kitchen had everything we would need, including a blender and coffee maker. Wonderful large covered balcony. Air conditioning worked well. There was no hot water in the shower one day, even after letting it run a couple minutes, but it seemed fine the next day. There were some ants in the kitchen, but I assume that's common around here. While the view is nice up on the top floor I wouldn't recommend this particular unit for elderly people or anyone who isn't steady on their feet. It's a lot of stairs up to the unit and many steps inside the unit itself - sunken living room, etc. If you're up for the stairs, it's great. We also enjoyed the swimming pool and access to Half Moon Bay, which was great for snorkeling. Akumal bay is a total circus so it was nice to be here where there are fewer people. We were also able to walk to Yal-Ku Lagoon/Cenote from the condo. There are only two restaurants within walking distance, but they are both good.

Overall a Great Stay

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed at La Sirena #14 for 8 days. The location is incredible! The snorkeling in the bay is beautiful, and Yal-Ku lagoon is walking distance. There are multiple nearby restaurants that were all excellent! The management was very responsive and answered any questions before/during our trip promptly and professionally. The maid service was good as well. The A/C units worked great, which was very important to us. The unit is stocked with all basic dishware and appliances, all in good condition. The unit was reasonably clean. The pool was clean and well maintained. The only recommendations I would offer are that the unit could use some general maintenance/repair/cleaning (broken counter tiles, moldy grout in showers/corroded shower heads). I also discovered two dead American cockroaches when untying one of the curtains to close it. Not a huge deal, but could be remedied by more frequent deep cleaning. The water pressure was very low and the shower seldom heated up enough to even be considered lukewarm. Not an issue if you travel during the hottest months, but a warm shower would be nice. The beds are very firm, but the abundance of pillows makes this tolerable. Overall our stay was very enjoyable and we look forward to our next visit!

Wonderful stay - what a gem!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We love off the beaten path, small places to stay in great locations. This condo fit the bill. Snorkeling right out of the back door - and even better, literally just down the adjacent street 200 yards away phenomenal easy calm snorkeling in the Yal Kul lagoon. ($14 a day and well worth it)We were so impressed with the Akumal team's communications with us - both before and during our stay. Prompt answers, polite and friendly. We arrived very late in the evening and made use of the lockbox next to the door.Views were unbeatable, ocean breezes kept things cool at night, and one day was so hot we used the in-bedroom air conditioner - a quiet unit that was perfect. Beds were comfy, linens and towels nice and soft. Owners are eco conscious - towels and linens changed after one week. We made use of the clothes drying line. Rose, the daily housekeeper, was wonderful and respectful of our hours. The kitchen was very well stocked with spices and oils and everything you need to cook - but there are some great little beach side restaurants just down the road. All the places have huge 5 gallon bottles of purified water on the counter and they'll bring a spare if you run out.We rented a car, but you could easily get around on foot and pay higher prices for food. Akumal Half Moon Bay was great - no big resorts, lots of places that have been here a long time. We loved having the ocean out one balcony and the pool off another, and were lucky to have quiet neighbors during our stay.Highly recommend this third floor unit - it was perfect! Pack light - you won't need much more than a bathing suit and a change of clothes. Everything else is here in the condo including blow driers, shampoo and cream rinse.And thank you to the previous guest for leaving eggs, butter and coffee in the fridge. We returned the favor for the next guest.
