We were very happy with our stay in Scopello at this lovely property. It suited us perfectly because the property was private and quiet yet not far from the township of Scopello or Castellammare del Golfo. The property had good parking a short walk from the house. Our check in went smoothly and Angela showed us all we needed to know about the property and was available via WhatsApp for any other queries. The property was well stocked with all that we needed. The view from the deck, where we sat out to eat whenever we ate at home, was truly magical. Another fabulous thing about this property is the access to the beach. It is quite steep...one notices it more on the way back up but it is well worth spending time down there. We would highly recommend this property for a stay in Scopello.

Great getaway

The villa is very private with an excellent view as can be seen from the photos. We used Scopello as a base for driving to much of western Sicily, which meant driving a bit further vs. staying closer to Palermo. It was really worth it for staying at this nice villa and enjoying some of the places close by.

Perfect!

We stayed a week here and had a wonderful time, The house was excellent in every way with a wonderful view over the sea. The spacious veranda has a sunny part but also a shady portion, if you want to keep out of the sun. There is also access to the sea. There is a footpath through a flower filled meadow to the village of Scopello, a 15 minute walk away. Overall highly recommend this house,

Fantastic terrace with magnificent views!

We stayed for 10 nights in September. The apartment is modern, very clean, spacious and well equipped. What we loved most was the terrace, which has a big shaded part as well as a lot of sunny space, with the magnificent views. it gives an immediate feeling of holiday and relaxation. It is also very private. The covered area of the terrace is always totally private, and for 8 nights we had no neighbours upstairs so we could walk around nude, and what we will keep as a special memory was taking showers outside with the fantastic view! What a treat! The way down to the beach and rocky shore is rather steep, one can take a car if necessary, there is a lot of parking space by the shore. Water was 27 degrees, and snorkelling was very good. The apartment has light loungers and a beach umbrella, which we gladly used. Carmen and Nicola were very quickly responding to any question or little problems we had. On arrival we were accompanied to the apartment by Angela, who did not speak English, and somehow managed despite my minimal understanding of Italian. The kitchen was well equipped, including sharp knives (rarity in rental apartments), some water and juice waited for us in the fridge, and there were some oil, salt, sugar, UHT milk, tea, biscuits etc, which we appreciated very much as we arrived too late to shop and were very grateful for those provisions for breakfast. The village of Scopello had a lot of options for eating out, and the bio fruit and veg shop and the slightly hidden local supermarket were a great place to shop. We are very happy with our stay at Picola Baia!!!

Juniwoche in Scopello

Die Ferienanlage mit dem Haus darin war nicht sofort auf Anhieb zu finden, doch wir wurden dann sehr freundlich und kompetent von der Haushälterin empfangen. Das Haus mit toller Terasse ist, eingebettet in der Anlage, schön gelegen mit wunderbarem Blick auf das Meer und beinhaltet alles, was man im Alltag benötigt. Wir hatten ende Juni viel Ruhe und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt!

Bella vista

Una bella casa con una bella vista sulla mare dalla grande terazza! Abbiamo trascorso due settimane in questa casa. La posizione della casa é bella; c'é una bella baia per nuotare (5 minuti ai piedi). L'arredamento è comfortevole per quattro persone (due coppie); le arredamento della cucina per preparare la cena è abbastanza bene. Ringraziamo Carmen e Nicola per le cure gentili! Helga

An excellent location, residence and warm hosts

A truly stunning position in Scopello overlooking the Med with Palermo in the distance. Peaceful and relaxing. The residence was spotless and had everything needed for a 10 day stay. Our hosts, Nicola and Carmen, were lovely and welcoming. The terrace overlooking the sea is entirely private and there is ready walking access to a private cove from which to swim in clear and clean water. Local amenities are limited so a car is essential. The nearby "Market" has everything you need including an amazing array of local cheeses, local wine and meat and fabulous local vegetables, olive oil, and fruit products. Easy vehicular access to nearby towns for days out. We went in early September and if it is solitude you want and a place to relax this time of year this is it. We will return.

Eccellente sistemazione e cortesia dei proprietari

Una sistemazione esclusiva, in un posto con una vista mare mozzafiato, unita alla cortesia e attenzione ai dettagli dei proprietari, hanno reso la nostra vacanza fantastica. Abbiamo particolarmente apprezzato le attrezzature per il neonato: culletta, vasca per il bagnetto e seggiolino. Buona la pulizia della casa e molto gradita la doccia esterna... La discesa a mare è un po' difficoltosa e lo spazio in spiaggia risicato, ma considerato che si ha la possibilità di fare il bagno a ridosso della riserva dello Zingaro, ci sta anche un po' di sacrificio... Unico neo la sorpresa di non avere a disposizione pentole....se solo lo avessimo saputo avremmo provveduto da soli! Abbiamo comunque rimediato...
