Excellent property in the old part of Antibes. A perfect location for walking to all the areas of the old city. Perfect location in Antibes old town

We were two couples, old friends, spending a few days in Antibes and surroundings catching up and making new memories. The maison was a comfortable, peaceful base for our vacation. Stairs were a challenge as we’re all in our late 70’s, but everything worked out well.

Perfect apartment in a fabulous location

This apartment is wonderful!! Large enough for the 5 adults in our group. A fabulous balcony to sit out and enjoy the evening. Stayed 6 nights. Booking, communications, check in and out really simple. The apartment is beautiful and the location is perfect. We loved exploring the nearby covered market and the maze of streets. Kitchen is very well appointed and we made good use of it for various meals. Don’t hesitate- great find.

Perfect Location in Old Antibes

If you want to be in the heart of Old Antibes, this place is close to everything and is part of the fabric of the community. We took the train everywhere. The station is close. Maison Etoile is clean, comfortable with good quality furnishings and bedding. We had no problem with communication. Highly recommended.

Fabulous!

This was a fabulous place to stay! The beds were very comfortable, it was spacious, tasteful decorated and clean. Lots of little details that made a trip that much more comfortable, from beach towels, to being around the corner from the market and a beautiful bakery across from us. My only caution would be to let people know there is a narrow staircase of 3 to 4 flights. The location was perfect! I would highly recommend.

Lots of positives! Beautiful, clean, great terrace, nice bathrooms, great washer and dryer, great communication, close to the outdoor market and many great restaurants and shops! Only two negatives: up three flights of curved stairs - tough with your luggage and the second floor skylights let a lot of morning light in and the bathroom skylight makes the bathroom very hot in the summer. Neither should negate choosing this location!

Family holiday

We enjoyed our visit to Antibes. The apartment was just right. The location was perfect as it was a short stroll to the beach, the market and the restaurants. The local bakery was perfect and 2 minutes away. The apartment is in a very quiet area. We were never disturbed by any noise. The apartment was large for four adults and very comfortable. The kitchen was very well equipped. Although the master bedroom was on a mezzanine floor it was still quite private with the only open part being the stairway. The air conditioning was excellent. I would recommend this apartment for a holiday in Antibes.

A beautiful apartment in the heart of Old Antibes

The owners have thought of everything, right down to the last details and it is those details that make this such a lovely place to stay: the quality of the towels, bed linen, the beds, lighting and the fully equipped kitchen - it is all there and top quality in this three bedroom apartment. If you like cooking, the kitchen is superb, well laid out and simple to use. Eat at the dining table or sit out on the balcony and enjoy the sun - yes we could do that in January! Just stroll around the corner to the market and you can get all you need to cook up a wonderful meal. If you don't fancy that, Maison Etoile is perfectly placed for a huge choice of restaurants. Antibes is a great base to discover the Cote d'Azur but I doubt you would want to stray too far from the old town with its friendly atmosphere, beaches, restaurants and markets. If you are staying local you probably don't need a car as the transport is easy by train or taxi if you want to go to Cannes or Nice. If you are driving buy a weekly pass if the underground car park near the post office as it much, much cheaper and will save you having to pump the parking meters. perfektes Zuhause auf Zeit

Das Apartment liegt in der Altstadt und ist zentraler Ausgangspunkt in alle Richtungen. Parkplatz ist leider nicht verfĂŒgbar aber ein kostenloser ist ca. 15 min fusslĂ€ufig entfernt. Die Wohnung ist genau wie auf den Bildern neu und bietet eine tolle AtmosphĂ€re! Die Kommunikation war unkompliziert und nett. Fazit: totale Empfehlung!

Everything great, apart from some smaller details...

We had a lovely stay at this charming flat in Antibes, we usually would have given 5 stars, however, some small details need improvement, and we would like to encourage the owners to fix this: -master bedroom skylight blinds missing, which is a real problem from 7am in the morning, but also when the moon is shining through the window at night. We simply felt that we did not sleep as deeply as usual, because of this. -night lights with motion detector not working properly. The lights were switched on all night and we had to cover the top light with a bag, otherwise it would have been even brighter in the master bedroom, with missing blinds anyway -water pressure in all showers is too low even for Antibes, washing your hair or washing of the dust from a day on the beach is difficult, there is simply not enough water coming out of the shower head... I would like to emphasize that everything else around the flat was perfect and Ivan was very helpful handing over the flat and keys. We had wash tabs for clothes and for dishwasher available for the whole week, plus little details such as olive oil were provided in the kitchen. The location is perfect, and having an early morning coffee on the balcony overlooking the old part of Antibes is a great experience. Best Regards, Nils, Joanna, James & William

Die Wohnung ist perfekt ausgestattet u liebevoll u gemĂŒtlich eingerichtet. Man fĂŒhlt sich wohl.

Ivan hat uns sehr gut betreut und uns tolle Restauranttipps gegeben. Wir haben uns von der ersten Minute an wohlgefĂŒhlt. Die Lage ist perfekt, Mitten im Zentrum der Altstadt. Boulangerie ist direkt gegenĂŒber, der Markt 200 m. Zum Meer 5 Minuten. Man braucht kein Auto, da man alles zu Fuß machen kann. Es ist einfach traumhaft schön.

One of the best places I have been

Ivan was a very friendly host, who was looking to answer all our needs. He sent us a detailed email with helpful information before our arrival. The Apartment is freshly renovated and very well done, everything is a high standard and made with a though. There were washing machine, dryer, fridge, dish washer, and everything you will need when traveling with kids, The location itself cannot be better. It is dead center in Antbies, literally 100 meters from the Local Market. Just beware, if you are with babies, or with cars. First, the apartment is in a typical old french building, i.e. expect narrow staircases, no elevator (you are on the 2nd floor) and no place to lock your baby trolleys downstairs. Also, the public parking is ca. 5 minutes walk from the apartment, and this is the place to park. You would be lucky to be able to squeeze your car into the narrow streets of Antibes, or any other old French town for that matter. But this is to be expected. Do not hope to be able to park in front of any accommodation in Antibes, this town is very popular with tourists and the streets are always full with cars and people. Overall, we loved our stay and we would come back to the place the next time we visit Antibes! Highly recommended.

We created Hygge Homes to share our ethos of living well and escaping the tough stressful everyday life. We are both professionals working in multinational companies, travelling the world for work and have found Antibes to be the perfect place to call home, relax and de-stress in a serene and cosy environment.

The apartment is unique that it enjoys sunlight throughout the day and has a roof terrace to enjoy outdoor space and maximum sunshine.

The apartment is located steps away from the main square, local restaurants, bistros, patisseries and supermarkets are all within 5 minutes walk. Beaches, marina and the famous Picasso Museum are all within 5-8 minutes walk

Our lovely caretaker M. Ivan Faudet will welcome you and ensure your stay to be hassle-free and memorable. He is on hand to provide any assistance should you require.
