Dieses malerische Kabine wurde mit frischem Kiefern renoviert, aber es ist historische Integrität beibehalten wurde. Das charmante Kabine verfügt über ein Queen-Size
Bett, separatem Wohn- und Küchenbereich, Bad, gemütliche Gas-Kamin und Kabel-TV. Gasherd und Mikrowelle zur Verfügung. Grill und Sitzecke außerhalb befindet. Everything was as advertised! The cabin was adorable. As mentioned, the doorways and beams were low. The shower was also very small. But the location was perfect, Grand Lake is a beautiful little town. My husband and I had a great time hiking the East Inlet Trail up to Lone Pine Lake and back, the trailhead is only a few minutes drive from the cabin. We hope to be back soon.

The location is excellent and we loved the true cabin feeling. This is a true old fashioned cabin and was exactly as described. The location could not be better because it is located within a small aspen grove, so it feels more remote and secluded than other options this close to town. It is also a short walk to Main Street, the beach, food, and endless hiking trails. Also walking distance to the market, if you need snacks or food. Everything you’d need is available within the cabin, including extra blankets, soap, and cooking supplies. We had a great time!

Not at all as described! Dark and scary. Nothing nearby for walking. No lake. Could not have been any more disappointing!!! I was truly afraid to stay there. A few houses on a dirt road off of another dirt road. No “Village” feel as described at all! Couldn’t wait to turn around and go home. Nobody would enjoy staying in n this dark depressing and scary spot!!!

I recognize that guests look forward to their visits, so it is very disappointing when they are unhappy with their visit. However, when this guest commented that they "hoped they booked the right cabin" prior to their check-in and then had these complaints, I question whether they truly had booked the home they intended to book. There are at least 15 homes on that little street (in fact, the lots are filled) and the cabin is one block north of the main street of Grand Lake - thus, I am confused about the comment regarding not being close to anything. Many streets in the village are not paved, lending to the quaintness of the village. This guest also complained about having to drive over Berthoud Pass and other normal conditions to drive to this quaint mountain town (despite me allowing an early check-in so she could arrive early afternoon.) I encourage other potential guests to look at the other reviews to obtain more honest feedback.

Looked very much like the pics. I did not think about the outside space and truly missed have a nice place outside to unwind. There are chairs and a table in the front yard, but no yard. It was kind of muddy. Host was very good and reached out to check on us.

Thank you for the feedback. The personal yard has a firepit with two chairs, along with a separate area with a table and chairs. To the point about being muddy, though, I will be mulching the area with the table and chairs to help with any mud accumulation.

Enjoyed staying at this cute little cabin. All the comforts of home in a small package! Stayed for 2bdays while visiting Rocky Mountain National Park. Location provided easy access to the park as well as close to town. Would stay again if in the area.

It was a beautiful setting for our Christmas this year . This was a dream for my wife to have a quiet setting to enjoy Christmas in a small mountain cabin. We attended a candle light service at a local church and thoroughly enjoyed the service and the folks we met. For me, the cabin more than I expected and very comfortable.

We (Dan and Rebekah) were raised in the Kansas flatlands, but we each vacationed in Colorado while growing up. We finally made the leap to the high country 6 years ago, and we have taken full advantage of this giant playground ever since our move.
Dan and Rebekah currently live in Windsor, located in northeast Colorado. Dan works in the medical field, and Rebekah retired from employment with this health system two years ago. She currently enjoys her work with a number of civic organizations, as
well as master gardening, welding, and other hobbies.
Dan and Rebekah enjoy every aspect of this wonderful Colorado environment. They are avid fly-fishermen, hunters, hikers, and general outdoorsmen.
The couple enjoys a sizable amount of time in the mountains. Dan completed his due-diligence in investigating options for a mountain home. We wanted a location that would appeal to all ages, all year round, and we wanted activities that involved mountains, water, wildlife, and a community atmosphere. After looking at dozens of options, we found that Grand Lake met all of our needs.

We spend a sizable amount of time in the mountains. Dan completed his due-diligence in investigating options for a mountain home. We wanted a location that would appeal to all ages, all year round, and we wanted activities that involved mountains, water, wildlife, and a community. We have several children, and this location and property provides a central location for family members to walk or ride bikes to nearly every amenity within Grand Lake.

One look at this rustic cabin would help anyone understand why we purchased this home. It is nestled within aspen trees in a peaceful neighborhood - and it is within walking distance of downtown, Grand Lake and Rocky Mountain National Park.
The interesting and charming aspects of this 1940s cabin have been maintained, including original beams and interior log siding. Enjoy the sliding interior barn doors. The recent renovations of the cabin were truly a labor of love - it is adorable.
We purchased this cabin, as well as the cabin next door, as they belonged together in a 'Jack and Jill' cottage setting. If you have additional friends or family, consider renting both cabins!
