Beautiful part of the world

So peaceful with magnificent Sunsets and the gentle sound of waves lapping up on the beach. The host is one of natures gentlemen, friendly and helpful, a pleasure to speak with. One of the best locations we have ever stayed and we will be going back!

Amazing location but disappointing self catering facilities

View & location- absolutely amazing Rooms - spacious & clean Self catering facilities- disappointing Missing basic amenities: Tea, coffee, sugar Cooking Oil Chopping/steak knives, kitchen utensils, Oven trays/dishes, colander Plastic bags for the bins Tinfoil or Greaseproof paper Dishwasher tablets Cloths for counters No hoover/brush especially for cleaning sand from beach

A holiday to remember

Coral strand house is in a fabulous location, beautiful scenery all around and only 10 mins to town. The house became home to a family of four and had all home comfort, heating and hot water etc. To improve for extra comfort and care of the home they gave feedback thus- 1- More place mats and drink mats to protect the lovely tables furniture, eg lounge/ bedrooms. 2. Extra tea towels -only 2 for the week are available at present. 3. Maybe replace The 2 bottle openers as they are not working well But these comments are purely cosmetic as everyone thoroughly enjoyed there stay and will Deffinately return. Please say thanks to Brendan the owner who cannot do enough to help. kind regards Maggie :)

sehr schönes geräumiges Ferienhaus mit Panoramafenster aufs Meer. Tolle Landschaft

Der Vermieter war sehr freundlich und unkompliziert. Alles war sauber und super geräumig. Drei Schlafzimmer mit eigenen Bädern. Über die Straße zum wunderschönen Strand. Wenn es warm ist ein Traum.

HERVORRAGEND!!

Wir waren im Juni 1 Woche in Irland und hatten uns diese Haus gemietet! Ein absoluter Traum! Gross, geräumig und sehr gepflegt. In der Küche ist alles vorhanden was man braucht. Vom Backofen bis zur Mikrowelle. Die Schlafzimmer sehr gross und nett eingerichtet. Ebenso die Badezimmer. Ca. 15m vom Atlantik entfernt. Vom Esszimmer und vom vorderen Schlafzimmer kann man direkt draufsehen. Ich kann es nur jedem empfehlen! Wir werden sicherlich wiederkommen!

Schönes Ferienhaus in bester Lage!

Wir waren schon zum zweiten mal in der Coral Strand Lodge in Urlaub und waren wie beim ersten mal total begeistert. Die Lage des Ferienhauses direkt am Strand ist genial. Clifden mit allen Einkaufmöglichkeiten ist nicht weit entfernt. Einziges kleines Minus ist die etwas spärliche Küchenausstattung. Ansonsten sehr empfehlenswertes Ferienhaus.

Beautiful location, the beach access is fantastic and close to Clifden, Roundstone and other great tourist areas. Drawbacks were ..the lack of basic amenities at the house. A good amount of basics had to be bought. Furniture needs a good wipe down in the living room.

Great place to stay/excellent location

Lovely house and brilliant location for sea swimmers, across from The Coral Strand. However, the house could have more furniture, washing line and kitchen equipment. Owner lovely.

A lovely house for the week

The house is located between Clifden and Ballyconneely, right across the road from the sea. A lovely, spacious property which made our stay a lot more pleasant.

Gorgeous sea views

The cottage is lovely and ideal for a few days in the west for groups of family or friends. The interiors are bright and spacious with gorgeous sea views.

Second Time At Coral Strand Lodge

After staying at Coral Strand Lodge for a week last year we wanted to return to Connemara with its stunning scenery, friendly people and things to see and do. We looked at other properties on the Connemara Lettings website but none offered the same space or views for an equivalent weekly rate - Coral Strand Lodge really is a bargain considering what it offers for those who stay. Three good-sized bedrooms, three bathrooms, large kitchen area and separate lounge with television means there is plenty of room for those staying. Clifden is seven miles or so but a nice, easy drive and lots of places to eat, drink or just have a browse through the many shops once there. Kylemore Abbey is well worth a visit, Dogs Bay has a huge beach - nobody there but us - and a day in Galway is around a one-hour drive away. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Coral Strand Lodge to anyone visiting Connemara.

Our second stay at coral strand

This was our second stay at the Coral Strand. We found it a home from home that was both comfortable and spacious with an ideal location across from the beach. The views from the house are stunning. It’s location between Clifden and Ballyconneely gives you a great vantage point to explore Connemara. The house has all the necessities but perhaps some items like the kettle had seen better days. We found the owner and management very accommodating with regards to our pet dogs which we really appreciated. Overall a great stay and we hope to stay again in the future.

Christmas Break

We stayed for seven nights over the Christmas it was a really beautiful house and location. We holiday every year in Galway. It really is a fabulous house with every thing in it. Owner very nice and friendly.

Fabulous Location

This is a good sized property in a fabulous location, with the sea, and sandy beach, just across the road. However, for a property with 'all mod cons' and a 'kitchen which is fully equipped' it does require some added extras - there is no heating in either of the ensuite bathrooms, there is no hair dryer, it could do with a worktop protector for hot pans, there is no grill pan, the toaster switch is broken (kettle and toaster are definitely not as shown in the photo!), there was not a single cloth for wiping work surfaces, or a scourer for pans, there is a lack of sharp knives - just a bread knife and one large carving knife, nothing for chopping vegetables etc., one of the recliners in the lounge is broken and the whole suite is definitely the worse for wear, no dvd player, not even a spare toilet roll - there was some hand soap in one of the en-suites and the bathroom though! I would recommend this cottage to others for the location but would need to mention the deficiencies as well.

Traumhaus am Atlantik

Wir wurden von einem wunderbaren Sonnenuntergang empfangen. Das Haus ist so wie abgebildet, funktionell ausgestattet und direkt am Strand. Die Straße vor dem Haus ist mäßig befahren aber man hört sie kaum. Es gibt einige tolle Unternehmungen und Strände in der Umgebung (Geheimtipp: Inisboffin). Herzstück des Hauses ist die wunderbare Küche mit Atlantikblick (eine Salatschüssel war das einzige, was wir vermisst hatten).Das östliche Schlafzimmer ist etwas kühler und duftet nach Badezimmerfeuchte. Der Ansprechpartner vor Ort ist unkompliziert.
