Bietet ausreichend Platz für 4 Personen. Es ist ein Kingsize-Bett im Schlafzimmer und ein Queen-Schlafsofa im Wohnzimmer.

Das Riff vor unserem Gebäude ist eines der besten Kitesurf- und Windsurfgebiete auf Maui. Wenn der Wind weht, haben Sie eine ziemliche Show! Einer der besten Surfstrände von Maui ist ebenfalls zu Fuß erreichbar. S-Turns brauchen einen Swell im Norden oder Nordwesten, um zu surfen. S-Turns hat links und rechts gebrochen und hat einen sandigen Boden. Ein typischer NW-Wellengang erzeugt 4-6 Fuß-Wellen, die sich perfekt für das Longboarding eignen. Das ist selten auf Maui!

Warum sollten Sie in unserer Wohnung bleiben? Es ist schwierig, unsere Wohnung mit anderen Ferienimmobilien nur anhand der Bilder zu vergleichen. Alle Eigentumswohnungen in unserem Gebäude sind einzigartig. Während sich alle im selben Gebäude befinden, sind viele veraltet und abgenutzt. Die Einheiten im Erdgeschoss sind von Datenschutzproblemen betroffen. Und viele Besitzer schieben die Wartung vor und behandeln ihre Immobilien lieber als ein Hotel, ohne die Gästeerfahrung zu berücksichtigen. Wir sind sehr stolz darauf, unser Ferienhaus sauber, gepflegt, komfortabel und in Top-Zustand zu halten! Unsere Wohnung wurde vor kurzem mit hochwertigen Materialien von einem Top-Bauunternehmer umgebaut und das zeigt sich! Wenn etwas abgenutzt ist oder veraltet aussieht, lassen wir es sofort ersetzen oder reparieren. Wir bieten Strandtücher, Schnorchelausrüstung, Ferngläser zur Walbeobachtung, Boogie Boards, Liegestühle, zusätzliche Kissen, Seifen, Shampoo und Conditioner und vieles mehr! Wir haben neue „intelligente“ Fernsehgeräte mit Netflix, sogar Bluetooth-Lautsprecher, damit Sie IHRE Musik hören können. Wir haben abgeschirmte Sicherheitstüren eingebaut, damit Sie die Türen offen lassen und Wind und Wellen lauschen können! Es gibt wirklich keinen Vergleich zu den meisten anderen Eigentumswohnungen in unserem Gebäude (oder unserer Umgebung) und den Dingen, die wir für Ihre Urlaubserfahrung bieten. Konstruktionshinweise (aktualisiert): In unserem Kondominiumkomplex ist für den Sommer 2019 (1. Juni bis 15. September 2019) ein Uferdachprojekt geplant. Wir gehen davon aus, dass der Bau an Werktagen während der normalen Arbeitszeit (Montag bis Freitag 8-5 Uhr) stattfinden wird und nichts an unserer Condo-Einheit stören sollte, obwohl es tagsüber etwas Lärm geben kann. Es werden keine Arbeiten an den Gebäuden ausgeführt und die Aussicht, der Zugang zum Pool oder der Zugang zum Strand wird nicht beeinträchtigt. Wir haben die Preise in unserem Kalender stark reduziert, um dieses Problem zu berücksichtigen. Bitte zögern Sie nicht, uns zu kontaktieren, wenn Sie Fragen zur Konstruktion haben.

Unsere Wohnung ist eine rechtliche kurzfristige Vermietung in Hawaii und Maui. Dies ist sehr wichtig, da es viele kurzfristige Vermietungen gibt, die diese Steuern nicht zahlen und Ihren Aufenthalt gefährden könnten. • In der Wohnung gibt es Badetücher sowie Badetücher.
• Die Küche ist mit Utensilien, Töpfen, Pfannen und den meisten zum Kochen notwendigen Sachen ausgestattet. Es gibt eine Mikrowelle, eine Kaffeemaschine, einen Geschirrspüler, einen Kühl- / Gefrierschrank und einen Herd / Backofen.

Wir können zwar nicht garantieren, stoßen wir auf Meeresschildkröten auf fast täglich vor unserer Wohnung. Wir genießen Walbeobachtung von unserem Lanai (Balkon) Wenn Sie schnorcheln möchten, springen in das Wasser gibt es große Schnorcheln direkt vor der Tür der Wohnung. Wir haben gerade gelernt, Brandung am S-Drehungen-Park, der nur einen kurzen Spaziergang von der Wohnung ist.

Große Restaurants sind in der Nähe, wir eine Empfehlung geben kann, wenn Sie möchten.

Für jeden Aufenthalt wird eine Reinigungsgebühr erhoben, die in Ihrem Gesamtbetrag von Airbnb enthalten ist. Wir glauben daran, den Dienstmädchen, die unsere Wohnung reinigen, einen Lebensunterhalt zu zahlen. Hawaii ist ein teurer Ort, um eine Familie zu leben und zu erziehen. Wir hoffen, dass Sie verstehen, warum unsere Tarife so sind, wie sie sind. Die Reinigungsgebühr wird in keiner Weise "aufgewertet". Dies ist die tatsächliche Gebühr, die von unserem Reinigungsservice erhoben wird.

Sie sollten einen Kauf in Kahului (in der Nähe des Flughafens) unbedingt einkaufen, wenn Sie vorhaben, zu kochen oder für einen längeren Zeitraum zu bleiben. In dieser Gegend gibt es Costco, Target, Wal-Mart, Whole Foods, Safeway und andere "Big Box" -Läden. Wir haben viele lokale Märkte in der Gegend, aber in Hawaii ist es SEHR teuer und Maui ist die teuerste aller Hawaii-Inseln. Wahrscheinlich haben Sie einen „Aufkleber-Schock“, wenn Sie zum ersten Mal Milch für 7 Dollar pro Gallone sehen.

Perfect!

We stayed for two weeks in this lovely location. The view every morning of Molokai and the surf breaking against the breakwater was fantastic. We swam at the beach right next door, and watched the turtles feeding. The unit is very well equipped for cooking (which we like to do), and the unit is quiet and private, and the area (Kahana) is away from the noise of Lahaina. We would not hesitate to return to this condo or recommend it to others. Mahalo

NIce Condo but RUDE owner

We really liked the condo overall except for a few minor issues inside the condo such as no ironing board and no chip clips and a hazardous (upturned corners to trip on), dirty carpet in the kitchen. Otherwise nice condo. Our issues started with the owner (Rhett), upon arival on Valentines Day after a very long travel day. The condo has a keyless combination code as a door lock. We entered the code and got it to work (have to coordinate turning the handle at same time as twisting knob), after a few tries right at 3 PM. We dropped off a few items and headed back down to the car for our luggage. This time the code would not work. I called both Rhett and his wife and left VM messages. It was raining and we were left outside. Finally Rhett called us and after many attempts with at least 4 different codes we got in. A few minutes later we tested the code again and the code didn't work. At no time did Rhett apologize for the inconvenience. Instead he complained about having to take our call while being on the side of the road. At this point we were exhausted, been rained on and extremely hungry/thirsty. We needed to get food but couldn't risk not being able to get back in. Rhett finally agreed to send out a locksmith after complaining that "he had to pay for an emergency call", who arrived roughly an hour and half later than when we were told. Locksmith changed 3 batteries, lubricated the lock and said that there WAS an issue with the clutch mechanisim. We ended up testing the lock/code with the locksmith for over 30 min. He said parts needed to be ordered. There was a problem. Things happen- we get that. But, Rhett could've handled the situation much better. A few days later the fire alarm went off for no reason (not been cooking, etc), and we were foreced to call Rhett. His friend came over quickly to help and chatted us up for a long time. We told him we liked the condo, but not Rhett's handing of the lock issue. He said that Rhett was an entrepreneur who owned 6 ice cream shops in Seattle. He was surprised at Rhett's lack of customer service and that he had never apologized and been rude. He seemed ernest and even insisted on shaking hands on behalf of his friend. The next day Rhett called us as we were on a serene hike and started yelling. Said he had never experienced such drama (which is insane), and that we should leave even know we only had 3 nites left. So much for his friend's account. Too bad.

Probably the worst guest experience we've ever had! Hard to know where to even start with this one. We have had 100's of guests in our Maui condos. We've had mostly (99.9%) excellent experiences, a few hiccups and of course we've had some problems. This guest rates as easily the absolute WORST we've ever had! If you're considering renting to Norma this is your chance to bail out before you get to experience all the drama she'll bring to your home! The guest tried to check in early and disabled the electronic lock because it would not recognize the code - of course it was not valid yet because she wasn't supposed to check in! She called and blamed me for not telling her that she couldn't check in early. Apparently she didn't like the answer I had given her earlier that an early check in was not available because we had another guest leaving the same day and our cleaning company needed the time to get it ready for them. Norma thought that she'd try anyway! I ended up giving Norma a code to get into the condo early. She then demanded an apology because the lock didn't work. Really! After the check in time, Norma said she still had problems with the lock and claimed that the lock was broken. Here's where it got stupid and the drama began. I called a locksmith immediately with an after hours emergency call. They dispatched someone with a window of time to expect the locksmith. Norma called me every 10 minutes telling me that he wasn't there yet. After 45 minutes she called and demanded that the locksmith get there immediately. I have no idea how I was supposed to make that happen. Norma told me that they had somewhere to go and couldn't wait around for a locksmith and he needed to be there NOW! The locksmith did arrive about 10 minutes later and found NOTHING wrong. He told me that Norma was not entering the correct code, the lock was timing out and she was getting frustrated. After an emergency locksmith call at $575 and 4 other similar experiences (yes the drama continued) we did find out from a neighbor that Norma spoke with that she expected to be compensated for her inconveniences. She's actively looking for problems and has no problem fabricating one! We called VRBO for help with this situation and Norma was UNRESPONSIVE and would not return calls to VRBO or us. VRBO recommended we ask Norma to leave and she would not! We could describe more but you get the idea! RUN WHILE YOU CAN!!!

Best views and wonderful location

We had an incredible first trip to Maui and loved our stay at the perfectly furnished and gorgeous condo. The views from the lanai exceeded expectations and was such a treat to have a beach to access right from our doorsteps. Amazing beaches nearby and many, many turtles we got to see from both the lanai and in the water. Truly a special and most relaxing trip!

Fantastic property and location on Maui

We’re vrbo owners ourselves and would highly recommend this beautiful ocean view property on Maui. The unit is nicely renovated throughout and was very comfortable for us and our two young kids. We especially appreciated and made good use of the beach chairs, umbrella, and boogie board equipment that’s available in the unit. Owners communication was clear and efficient, and even provided great advise about planning our stay. Thank you for letting us stay and enjoy your property.

Great Place to relax

We thought the outside of the building needed a little sprucing up, but the unit itself was impeccable. Everything was perfect. The view should be rated a 5++, great turtle watching, good grocery stores close and the instructions from the owner were spot on as to weather and cooling the unit.

We stayed in Rhett and Maria's condo at Kahana Reef for 10 nights. Everything was perfect! A+A+A+A+A+A+ The only way you can closer to the ocean was to be on a boat!! When searching for a place to stay on Maui, so should put this condo HIGH on your list. If not, you're missing something special. Rhett recently remodeled every aspect of the condo. He did a fabulous job! A great part of staying here was everything was provided for you: beach chairs, snorkels, mask, towels, etc. All you do is show up! The pictures are right on. The bed was first class, comfy+ Lots of good restaurants and beaches close by. Thanks!

Amazing honeymoon!

This place was really above and beyond our expectations. The balcony is larger than I thought - and it was perfect for having coffee in the morning! We saw whales and sea turtles right from the balcony (on a daily basis - the whales are everywhere this time of year). The condo was well stocked. There were 2 coolers we could use, beach towels, binoculars, books. The kitchen was well stocked. Laundry was downstairs and easy to get to and use. It’s a nice late open air laundry room. The washer and dryer take payment via an app on your phone (as well as change) which was very convenient. There is a grassy lawn and brekawall directly in front of the condo with a lot of chairs (beach chairs) which was very nice. There is also a community (nice and clean) grill on the lawn area. There is a beach directly next door - with a very small walk (a few feet) and about 6 steps to get to it. It’s very easy to get to the from the back yard of the condo. If you want to snorkel there are several beautiful beaches nearby. Our favorite was Kapalua beach. It’s very shallow - and there are coral and fish inches from the beach. Very colorful and beautiful snorkeling - we even saw a few sea turtles. The condo was quiet at night - parking was not a problem at all. It was very clean, the bathroom was nice, new and beautiful. The bed was very comfortable and the pillows were better than most hotels I’ve stayed at. Overall it was very impressive! If we come back to Maui we would definitely stay here again.

You can’t get closer to the ocean!

Maria’s property has been recently updated and has an outstanding ocean view a stone throw from the water. In season, you can spot whales and turtles from the balcony. It is conveniently located near Kapalua with easy access to West Maui beaches, activities, and restaurants. Thank you Maria for sharing your lovely home with us!

Amazing view nicely updated condo

What a wonderful condo complex. Centrally located with fabulous beaches minutes away. The unit is well appointed with everything need for a comfortable stay. The best lawn in Hawaii. Comfortable king bed. The view is unbeatable, turtles and lizards right out front provide endless hours of entertainment. Can't wait to stay there again

Ocean front, quiet and luxurious condo!

The pictures you see are what you are going to experience! I traveled with my two best friends and we had the best time! We stayed 9 nights and didn't want to leave. The condo was spotless and the kitchen was well stocked. The owners also provided beach towels, beach chairs, umbrella and snorkeling gear. Maria was very responsive and great to deal with! She provided a long list of places to eat, hike and explore. We referred to that list daily! We spent many hours in the lanai watching sea turtles frolic in the water. While sitting on the lanai you will feel that you are staying in one of those huts on the water as immediately in front of the condo is a rock wall and the water always comes all the way up. We could of easily thrown a rock in the water from our lanai. The sunsets were so beautiful! There is a beach just steps from the condo. There are also some fantastic snorkeling beaches just minutes from the condo. The owner was spot on about Maui Brewing company. We went there 3 times during our visit as it was so close and the food and beer were excellent and reasonable priced. I would avoid The China Boat restaurant. We are there one night and was so disappointed with the service and the food. Opposite of that, we are at Mamas Fish House located about 50 minutes from the condo. If you have the opportunity, eat there! This by far is the best restaurant that I have ever eaten at. The location, service and food were amazing! Reservations are a must. Just be aware that it is pricey but so worth it! If you want to have a serene, breathtaking view of the ocean, fall asleep to the waves crashing and wake up to birds chirping this is the place for you. We can't wait to stay here again!!

An updated, oceanside property, absolutely amazing views and the location was excellent!

This property is amazing! The forward-thinking owners provided us with everything we needed for a relaxing visit. The unit has been recently remodeled and it is breath-taking. The building is safe, secure and very clean. I hesitate to say too much because we want another week open for us in the future, but this property is a jewel!

We loved our stay at Kahuna Reef.

Location was terrific - remote and quiet yet very close to the action of Lahaina and Kaanapali. View from the condo is spectacular and provides lots of interest. Walked to Maui brewery and coffee shop. Doesn't get any better than that.

The condo is beautiful

The condo has just been completely redone and they did an amazing job. The views are fantastic. The beach is small, but almost private; very nice. Everyone at the complex was very accommodating. Hopefully we will have a chance to go back.

Fantastic Anniversary Gettaway

My Wife and I spent our 10 year wedding anniversary here and it was perfect! Within walking distance to stores, a Fantastic Brewery, Coffee shops, and a short drive to Front street and all of the Amazing things to do in Maui! The space was perfect, and we spent hours on the balcony watching Turtles swim around, amazing sunsets, and lightning storms. Super easy Beach access and the pool was a life saver!(So Hot!) I would definitely recommend this space for anyone looking to relax in Paradise.

Maria was very pleasant to work with me she helped me out a lot! The condo is really cute, books to read, all the beach accessories I needed, kitchen very Wes's stocked, the bed was really comfy! I love the people who stayed here, I met great friends here, in fact I get to move to Maui! The grounds, pool, bar b que and laundry facilities are all kept up really nice. I definitely recommend this if you want beautiful sunsets, lots of sea turtles, and sitting on your lanai for all this!

Thanks for your review Lori. Glad to hear that you are planning on a move to Maui. That's in our long term plan too. We seem to almost always see the turtles from our balcony too. I remember counting 21 of them at once feeding out front earlier this year. Mahalo

It's hard to compare our condo to other vacation properties from just the pictures. All of the condos in our building are unique. While they are all in the same building, many are dated and well-worn, the ground floor units suffer from privacy issues. And many owners defer maintenance and prefer to treat their properties like a hotel with little regard for the guest experience. We take great pride in keeping our vacation home clean, well maintained, comfortable and in top condition! Our condo was recently remodeled using high quality materials by a top contractor and it shows! When something wears out or looks dated, we have it replaced or repaired immediately. We provide beach towels, binoculars for whale watching, beach chairs, soaps, shampoo and conditioner and much more! We have new “smart “TV’s with Netflix.

We have installed screened security doors so that you can leave the doors open and listen to the wind and waves! There is really no comparison to most of the other condos in our building (or area) and the things that we provide for your vacation experience. Please read our reviews!

This is not a big resort. Our condo is located about half way between Lahaina and Kapalua. We are walking distance to restaurants and a small grocery store.
