Die Scheune bietet Platz für vier Personen mit zwei Schlafzimmer - ein King-Size, ein Zweibettzimmer. Hochwertige Baumwollbettwäsche, Federbettdecken und bequeme Matratzen für einen erholsamen Schlaf.
Kalksteinboden im Badezimmer und eine wunderbar kräftige Dusche.

Und ebenso 2 liebe Wauwaus und eine Katze die uns jeden Tag begrüßten. Sogar die deutsche Fahne wurde für im Vorgarten gehisst. Das Haus uns die Lage hat uns auch sehr gut gefallen, das hatten wir uns ja so herausgesucht.

Einfach nur fantastisch

Eine großartige Unterkunft in toller Umgebung und absolut tolle Gastgeber. Inkl. Tennisplatz, Grill und allem, was man sich sonst noch wünschen könnte. Abergavenny ist ein tolles Sprungbrett nach Süd-Wales. Wir haben nichts zu beanstanden und haben unseren Aufenthalt in vollen Zügen genossen. Die Woche war Urlaub pur. Danke Gill!

Spacious apartment in Wales!

This is our second stay at the Birch Tree Barn. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay both times. Lots of space and a full kitchen. Overlooks pastures in a beautiful location. Conveniently located in Abergavenny that is close to many villages and towns to visit in Wales or England. Gill is a wonderful host and made us feel welcome. 5 Star and highly recommended!

Beautiful spot in the country

Our host contacted us the day before our arrival which resulted in our being able to check in earlier. The host gave us a personal overview of the property and provided enough breakfast foods and cake to carry us until we had groceries. The location was easy distance to Abergavenny and hikes in the area. The only concern is the access to the property. It's not well marked and hard to make the turn without being very conscious of the traffic. We found it easier to turn at the adjoining property turnoff and then come back to the entry when there was no traffic. Overall, the hosts have a lovely property and ensured that our stay was great.

Wonderful holiday venue

Birch Tree Barn is a beautifully appointed barn conversion with long reaching countryside views. In June the fields were yellow with buttercups! We were very comfortable and had everything we needed. Communication with the owners was excellent. We would definitely return.

Amazing location, wonderful hosts!

We love this place. This was our second visit, on holiday from Australia and lived up to all our expectations, including flying the Australian flag. The barn is well equiped, very clean and comfortable. Gill and Alex are very helpful, welcoming and accommodating. Really hope to visit again.

Perfection for the Abergvanny area

The Birch Tree Barn is the perfect place to make your base for the Abergvanny area. Located between the town and Raglan there is so much to see and do in the area. Gillian was an excellent host with great communication before and during our stay. The "Barn" (it's the upper floor of a converted barn but is a fully modern and furnished house) was delightfully appointed and had everything you'd need for your stay, plus wonderful extras to welcome you. Very comfortable beds, relaxing waterfall shower, spacious living area, views out across the fields from the kitchen sink and your own private garden to relax in (if you can find time from all the things to see and do). Fantastic cottage in South Wales

Very comfortable cottage near the Brecon Beacons in South Wales. The cottage is very well-equiped, modern and offers all you can need. The view on the countryside is fantastic and the environment is very quiet. Gill and her husband are very friendly and always ready to help. Their 3 dogs are very kind and my children enjoyed a lot playing with them in the big garden. There are many fantastic places to visit around. We spent a great holiday time at Birch Tree Barn. A location not to miss if you want to stay in this area.

Perfect Tranquil Spot in Welsh Countryside

The Birch Tree Barn is fabulous find ..10 minutes from Abergavenny but in the middle of unspoiled countryside. The Location is obviously great, but the actual property is simply lovely. Spotlessly clean, beautifully furnished and equipped as well as my home...nothing lacking in the kitchen at all. The views to wake up to are picture perfect. Sadly we didn't really have time to explore the area as we were there specifically for a music festival so were gone most of the three days we were there. And the Welcome Hamper was really welcome...thank you! I could have stayed a week at least...tranquil and beautiful. We had a bit of difficulty finding the entrance on arrival as it was already dark but on the second attempt we were in...and because mobile coverage was spotty when we were nearing The Barn we had a bit of trouble communicating about our arrival..nothing that wasn't resolved though. All in all we really had a lovely lovely time in Barn and can't wait to get back....and do visit The Black Bear Inn which is about 8 minutes away and worth walking to if necessary..in Betwys Newyd .
