Villa is very beautiful. Everything is well prepared and all ready, Lucio and Lucia are very kind and nice. Pizza event was fun, all children were so happy enjoy making their own pizza flavor. This was our third visit to this villa. Every time there have been improvements. We love the location, a quick walk to shops and restaurants and the bus to Sorrento.

Fantastic stay

Stunning views, great accomodations. Lucia and her dad were gems, from making us pizza dinners to arranging trips, snd transportation for our large group. Do notvhesitate yo book this amazing place. Was so sad to leave after 2 weeks.

Absolutely amazing property. Lovely hosts and great facilities. Had fun making pizzas in the wood fired outdoor oven. Kids loved the pool, grown ups loved the rooftop jacuzzi. Staying in the tower felt really special. And the views… the views!!!! Massa Lubrense town centre 5 minute walk away had everything you could possibly need and a regular bus route into Sorrento. New year at Amalfi coast in Massa Lunbrense

Very nice authentic villa at walk distance from the center of Massa Lubrense, with full privacy, surrounded by lemon and mandarine trees. Lots of space, fantastic view to the seeline from the roof terras.

Amazing Holiday

Stayed with my family over the Christmas holidays. Lucio the property manager was very hospitable and welcoming. He gifted us with some amazing pastries when we arrived and again when we checked out. Villa was perfect for the 6 of us. I would love to come back in season and visit again.

Beautiful villa in Massa Lubrense

This was our second visit to this beautiful villa and we’ll definitely be back. The villa is roomy with plenty is space to spread out. There are multiple outside areas to enjoy. There is room for a small car. The only possible negative is that the hill to the villa is quite steep.

Loveliness in

Our stay in Massa Lubrense was the perfect vacation. My family enjoyed the lovely location in a small village near Sorrento. We mostly stayed at the villa with the view, pool, football and ping pong that kept us happy. But we could always walk to the village for groceries, shopping, water or GELATO which was a daily occurance.

Amazing Vacation Villa

My husband and I booked two week with friends and family coming and going. For two nights we had eleven people. Those two nights we had Lucio and Irma cater our dinners. One Pizza Night and Pasta Night. Magical. We all felt so at home and couldn’t believe how fortunate we were to be in Italy staying at this beautiful villa. Lucio & Irma are amazing hosts. Highly recommend!

Beautiful house with a fantastic view

we were 13 persons from 8-73 years old,we spent a week in the house near Massa Lubrense. The house had all we needed and Filomenea , her husbond and friend Michele cooked for us, delicious food, everything was perfect we had a wonderful week, and should like to come back.

If you like to have someone cook for you you can can ask Mrs. Filomena to prepare a dinner or a Pizza in the outside wooden oven. You must try la "treccia", a special local Mozzarella, with "pomodori cuore di bue", a fantastic local tomato, both worthwhile the trip!!!

Absolutely Stunning Villa!

We cannot express enough how amazing our stay was at the villa! We arrived after a long flight to Lucia and Erna making us a fabulous pizza dinner! We loved the villa and Lucia and Erna were exceptional! They took care of our every need! The villa was beautiful inside and out! Wonderful experience in the beautiful Sorrento coast

My family and I had a wonderful time in Massa Lubrense. The villa is absolutely perfect. Finely furnished, we found everything we could possibly need. Lucio, the contact person on site, was amazing: always available and ready to assist us in any request or need. The va action has just finished but I would go back tomorrow if I could. I will vividly recommend my friends and family to stay at torre del giglio.

A Slice of Heaven

This Villa is beautiful and comfortable and has the most amazing views. It is very roomy with so much outdoor space. Irma & Lucio are wonderful hosts who were available for anything we needed and to answer any questions…. Fresh flowers,Easter candy, 2 surprise breakfasts… we couldn’t have asked for more. This is a fabulous find that I highly recommend. Massa Lubrense is a charming town as well, just above Sorrento. Just lovely

Ultimate Sorrento Coast house

What can I say? If I could give this house a 20 star review I would! We are a group of women in our sixties and the house was perfect for us! Spacious, beautifully decorated, and amenities were fantastic! The owners, Maria and Carlos were wonderful! They even helped with a booking problem (different owner and company) we were having on our second leg to Rome. They even reached out to us to see if we arrived in Rome safely and were able to access our house there. The caretakers, Lucio and Lucia were the kindest people I have ever met! They cooked dinner for us the first night and another night they gave a pizza party! They absolutely make the best pizza I’ve ever eaten. Lucia arranged a driver for us everyday to Sorrento, the public doesn’t seem to be very reliable

Wonderful villa in small town Massa Lubrense. Views galore! The owners and their staff take great pride in the property. They are the most responsive of all that I have experienced. Mr. Lucio and Irma took care of all of our needs. They even came over to make a pizza dinner for us. I just left today and miss it and them already. A+++++. Gratzie mille!

We stayed at villa torre del Giglio. The walk up the road was a little more than we expected at first, but we learned to love that also. We walked into town and caught the bus to Sorrento and spent time all over the Massa Lubrense area. We took a private boat to Amalfi, we hiked the path of the gods and so much more. Irma and Lucio were simply amazing! Communication was A+! They made dinner for us one night and it was fantastic! They helped gut our luggage in and out of the Villa too! There was even a gift from the owner at checkout. 100% would recommend and stay again. Massa Lubrense itself is also lovely. Don’t miss out on that.

Unforgettable villa

We had a wonderful time at the villa. Lucio and Irma were very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. The villa was beautiful and kept very clean- we had a everything we wanted and all the amenities were really good quality. It was great having the cold water in the swimming pool (in may) and then the hot tub as well. The beds were all very comfortable and lots of bathrooms for everyone! Massa Lubrense had all essentials within walking distance but was a little off the beaten track so much less hectic than other more touristy places- which we were very pleased about. The only thing I would say is if you hire a car go for the smallest possible- there is parking at the villa but the space is very very tight - although you can easily park in the road. I would absolutely recommend this villa - who knows we might even be back

An Amazing Villa!

All the glowing reviews are warranted. This place is so very special! I had extremely high hopes for this week, and they were surpassed. The villa is a dream come true, and Massa Lubrense is the ideal location for exploring this magical part of the world. The town is a real Italian town, not just a tourist stopover. The very short walk there leads to wonderful markets, shops, and restaurants, and all are very reasonably priced. Bus service is excellent, and we used the recommended charter boat service for an unforgettable day exploring Capri. Filomena made a wonderful dinner one night, and we took advantage of the grill and kitchen on other nights. We took the high speed ferry from Sorrento to Naples for a day to explore this wonderful city and the train to amazing Pompeii. Thank you, Carlo! We will be back.

In a few words he focused Massa Lubrense: a real Italian village in the Sorrento Peninsula where everything works, not yet expensive, and Villa Torre del Giglio is a fantastic compromise for quiet and every kind of comfort being so close to the town.

Amazing villa in ideal location

This villas far exceeded my expectations for our family of 12. It could not have been more perfect indoor and outdoor spaces. All rooms had their own baths and so many outdoor areas to enjoy. The foosball table, pool and hot tub were a big hit. The villa felt very safe and secure with walls, gates and fencing allowing our 4 kids some freedom. Location was perfect, out of the crowds of Sorrento but close enough to enjoy and so close to the small town of Massa Lubrense. We walked many times just down the hill for coffee, pastries and the market. We were welcomed by store owners and invited to watch an Italy football match with the locals. The villa owner, Irma and Lucio our contacts, were available for all our needs and a pleasure to work with. We also took advantage of Gaetano’s car service for our transportation needs, always prompt or early. Our family would have no hesitation staying again at the amazing villa again. It was a dream!

Villa Paradiso

We have just spent the most amazing week here in Massa Lubrense. The villa itself was amazing, and Lucio the property manager just the most wonderful kind person you are ever likely to meet. Nothing was too much trouble, from simply taking my elderly (80+ years old) parents to town, or upto Picco Restaurant which is a must or a group of us to Nerano beach and back, he also cooked a delicious pasta and fish dinner for us and supplied us with his homemade limoncello, grazie Lucio! The villa itself is well equipped with everything that you need from the cool dipping pool to the rooftop hot tub, you will enjoy this place. The town of Massa Lubrense has everything you need from a local town, great groceries, bars, restaurants and gelato. Oh and Lucio provided us with Italian pastries on our first and last mornings . We were a group of 11, ranging in ages from 16 - 85 and we all loved our stay, even my parents managed the small steep climb to the villa. Grazie Maria and Lucio

Beautiful Villa

Bravo! Communication with Maria the owner was very easy. Upon arrival Mr Lucio and Irma had a beautiful antipasto, bread and wine waiting for us, complements of the owner. The villa was impeccable, everything was immaculate and the views were spectacular. Mr Lucio dropped off pastries in the morning. Easy walk to the town where everyone was very friendly and it had great restaurants, grocery stores, bakeries and, of course, gelato and pizza. The bus to Sorrento ran every 20 minutes. We used driving services by Gaetano and his company and drivers were friendly and accommodating. We had Mr Lucio and Irma make us pizza in the villa’s outdoor pizza oven and it was over the top! Filomena cleaned the place spotless on Saturdays and Wednesdays. All in all, this was a memorable vacation in the villa. We would definitely consider returning. If I could give it more than 5 stars I would.

Outstanding Home for Wonderful Week

We held a family reunion (6 adults, 5 children ages 3-13) for a superb week in late June 2016 at this home. I cannot speak highly enough about this home and its setting. It made for a perfect week. The home itself is well-equipped, has lots of spaces to spread out, the pool was loved by the children and one just cannot resist the lemon trees, a view of the water/sunset and your own ancient tower. While we toured Pompeii and loved the excursion to dramatic Capri, we also really appreciated getting to know the small town life of Massa Lubrense-just near enough to walk easily for milk or of course gelato. It also was a treat to simply walk out the gate, turn left and begin to explore wonderful trails around the hills. We ended up not using the car we rented since all was so convenient. Filomena is a delight and she prepared a delicious seafood dinner and another evening pizza in the outdoor oven. The owner in Rome was very easy to work with and quite responsive to questions and the booking procedures. This truly was an incredible highlight for us and to spend time in such a lovely setting with family members you love cannot be matched! We are all longing to return soon.

Massa Lubrense is truly a magic place close to a wonderful sea, incredible sight seeing and the fantastic flavors of lemons, treccia, Pizza and tomato "cuore di bue". Villa Torre del Giglio with his 1500 built tower, all renewed with modern comforts, represents a great compromise for those who wants to relax in the quite yet with the possibility to easily reach all you need in the very close village of Massa Lubrense. Whether you'd like to go for a swim renting a private boat in the near by "Marina della Lobra", or you'd prefer go sight seeing to Positano, Capri, Sorrento or Amalfi, or visit Pompei and Ercolano, or just relax in the pool, going for a nice walk to the village of Massa Lubrense and enjoy the cooking of Filomena.....it's all there and up to you!!!

The villa offers an enchanting view of the Gulfs of Naples and Massa Lubrense (harbor of Marina della Lobra) and olive trees, lemon groves, terraces and fields surround it. It is full of very colorful and scented plants and flowers. The villa is subdivided into two separate units: the main house and the Saracen tower. The Villa is located on the coast of Sorrento: one of the most beautiful land that managed to remain intact over time. It is also often referred to as the "Gentile" (the nice one) for its lovely climate, the goodness of its towns and the hospitality of its people.
The Saracen towers are amongst the most interesting and significant historical and artistic buildings of the area. They are symbolic of the defense system of the coastal areas of Sorrento because they safeguarded the shores from the attacks of the Turks.
This area is blessed by the sun and it is always fully appreciated by tourists and travelers; a favorite destination where one can admire one of the most beautiful areas of Italy. It is full of wine and food and it has a fabulous seascape.

The villa is located in a well-served area; full of natural and historical wonders that can be visited thanks to the trips and excursions that can be organized on foot or by boat.
The ancient fishermen's village, in the bays of Nerano, Recommone and Jeranto, can be visited on board of the typical Sorrento boats. The reserves of the Galli Island, Positano and many others are only but a few of the wonderful surprises that await you in the surrounding areas of the Villa.
