Empfehlenswerte Ferienwohnung

Wir haben mit unseren Teenagern einen sehr angenehmen Aufenthalt in dieser Wohnung verbracht. Die Kommunikation im Vorfeld klappte problemlos und wie versprochen war Nicole vor Ort, um uns die Wohnung zu zeigen. Auch die kurze Begegnung mit Eliane am Vorabend der Abreise klappte wie vereinbart. Alles war tadellos sauber. Die Wohnung ist für französische Verhältnisse sehr gut ausgestattet. Auch in der Küche gab es alles, was wir gebraucht haben. Die Betten sind gut und die Fenster lassen sich verdunkeln. Im Haus ist es ruhig, die Fenster der Schlafzimmer gehen auf einen kleinen Hof, man hört also nichts von der ohnehin ruhigen Straße. Die Wohnung ist so weitläufig, dass man sich auch mal zurückziehen kann. Gut gefallen hat uns die Lage. Mehrere kleine Bäcker sind im nahen Umkreis, ebenfalls ein großer Monoprix, in dem man sich für den täglichen Bedarf eindecken kann. Man ist tatsächlich in einer Viertelstunde am Champs de Mars - nett, wenn man abends nochmal loskann, um den zur vollen Stunde glitzernden Eiffelturm zu bestaunen. An der nächsten Metro kreuzen sich drei Linien. So ist man schnell überall, wo man hinmöchte. Von uns gibt´s eine uneingeschränkte Empfehlung für diese Wohnung.

Lovely Apartment

We had a wonderful stay. Elaine was very thorough in explaining how to us the appliances in the apartment and had her son there to translate for us. Elaine let us know that there was a market on Sunday under the Metro (above ground) just around the corner from us. It was so fun to visit. I only wish we had more time. Kim L.

Wonderful apartment!

The apartment was so wonderful and perfect for our family of 5. It was nice to have a kitchen and a washing machine. It felt spacious and was so much better than a hotel room. Elaine always responded quickly to my emails and her sister lives next door and was so helpful also. The metro was just a few minutes away and that was so helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

Outstanding value for money!

Our Danish family of four rented this apartment for a week in late July 2015. This apartment is a bargain. It is spacious, clean and very well equipped. It is on the ground floor which makes it cooler on hot days. We were advised that the sister of the owner, Nicole, would be waiting for us in the apartment when we arrived and indeed she was. We had to unload the car in the middle of the road blocking traffic - free parking spaces are very, very hard to find. Only once I had to go around the block to let traffic pass. Then parked the car for the week in the Beagrenelle Magnetic mall parking garage 15m walk away (bought at parkingdeparis.com). Although the apartment has Wi-fi it measured to only 0.5Mbit - so do not expect HD streaming. It is however quite sufficient for finding your way to the attractions on the web. Note, that the supermarket Monoprix down the corner is upstairs! Shamefully, we did not realize this until the fourth day of our stay. The location is absolutely unbeatable! We walked to the Eiffel tower and back several times during the week. The station with the lengthy name La Mottte Picquet Grenelle is 2 minutes away and is the stop of no less than three metro lines taking you anywhere in Paris in no time at all. We used regular metro tickets (called T+) to get around - you have to travel a LOT on the metro to make the Paris Visite card worth your money. We especially appreciated the comfortable beds, the washing machine and the kitchen equipment. And of course the help of Nicole - especially when the Wi-fi suddenly disappeared. Our kids need WWW access like others need water... The owner Eliane and her husband actually came to visit us at a camping site the week before arrival when both we and they were in Normandy - just to say hello. That is customer care! We missed only a balcony.

Apartement parfait - Great appartment!

Notre premier voyage à Paris en famille (mon mari, nos enfants - 21 et.24 ans et moi) fut formidable. À ma grande joie, cet appartement avait tout ce qu'on avait de besoin. Très propre et confortable. Très bien localisé, à quelques minutes de marche de la Tour Eiffel et des services. Une station de métro centrale à deux coins de rues, qui fut extrêmement pratique pour nos déplacements. La propriétaire Éliane et sa soeur Nicole, très charmantes et disponibles. Un gros merci de nous avoir si bien accueillis. Nous gardons d'incroyables souvenirs. Great apartment with eveything you need. It felt like home, very clean and close to grocery store,, shops, a 10 minute walk to Eiffel tour and Metro right around the corner which was great to get us everywhere we wanted. Greatly recommended.

Excellent Paris Apartment

The photos does not do this apartment any justice. It is a really nice place in a quiet neighborhood. McDonald's is right around the block as is Monoprix. Nicole was a blast to deal with and she has a wonderful spirit. There are plenty restaurants and other eateries within walking distance. The subway is a 3 minute walk. The Eiffel Tower is a short distance. The apartment is very clean and has everything you need for home away from home. If we come to Paris again we hope that this place will be available. My one big advice for anyone traveling to Paris is to learn a few basic words in french.

¡¡PERFECTO!!

El apartamento es perfecto para pasar unas vacaciones en familia en París. Durante nuestra estancia llovió todos los días y volver a este apartamento después de hacer turismo bajo la lluvia ha sido realmente reconfortante, como llegar a tu propia casa. Very good appartment!

Our experience with this flat was very good. Our arrival plane was cancelled which meant we could not arrive for our first night. Elaine was very kind and we didn't have to pay for the first night. Furthermore our plane the next morning was shortly delayed which meant that Elaine could not attend when we arrived at the apartment. Luckily her sister Nicole was very helpful both when arriving and leaving the apartment. Rooms are larger than they look on the pictures and the kitchen is well equipped. Separate shower and toilet was a plus as well. If you are looking at staying in Paris this apartment is perfect!

Perfect apartment in Paris!

First the location is amazing! It is so close to a metro stop with 3 lines (including the wonderful 6 that is an elevated train and offers some of the best views of the Eiffel Tower from over the river). The neighborhood is full of wonderful restaurants and cafés and there is a Monoprix between the metro and the apartment for convenient shopping. The apartment itself is quite large and very well equipped. It comes with a full size bed in each room but the owners are very accommodating and added a twin bed in one of the rooms for our second child (our kids sleep better in separate beds). The only downside of the apartment (and it is a very small downside) is the wifi doesn't really work in the living room but works great in the back bedroom. On the few nights my husband did have to work he set himself up nicely in the back bedroom and it was not a problem at all. The best part of this apartment is the owner (we only met Eliane). We didn't arrive until 10pm in a Thursday night but she said this was not a problem and was waiting for us when we arrived. Before our arrival, she offered to get anything we might need so it would be waiting for us when we got there. We also left some of our clothes there and she kindly mailed them back to us very quickly (we are Americans but we live in France so thankfully it was not that difficult to mail them to us). I would highly recommend this apartment to anyone... I have been to Paris many times and stayed in several different parts of the city and this was, by far, the best!

Alojamiento perfecto en París.

Somos un matrimonio con 3 hijos que hemos pasado 8 días de vacaciones en París. El apartamento tiene una ubicación inmejorable, junto a una estación del metro y a cinco minutos andando del Campo de Marte. El apartamento está impecable, con todas las comodidades que nos han hecho sentir como en casa. Eliane ha sido una anfitriona perfecta que nos ha facilitado toda la información necesaria. Absolutely perfect!

We're just back, perfect apartments, absolutely stunning flat. Perfect bathroom, enough mirrors, comfortable beds, kitchen is very-very-very well-equipped, there is everything you may need from coffee maker to oven, all the dishes. Everything is provided - bed linen, towels, hair dryer, air conditioning (heating system), washing machine, iron and ironing desk. Perfectly working wifi, TV, a lot of books (all in French). Everything is clean. I would definitely recommend this apartments for stay to all of my friends, because it is perfectly located (3 subway lines), 10 minutes walk to Eifel tower, thousands of restaurants arounf and Monoprix market just around the corner. Every Sunday and Wednesday markets with super-fresh food. And I must say a few words about host, being supernice to us during whole stay, we felt at home, thank you very much, we will be back :)

Great appartment in a great location

This was our first visit to Paris so I looked at a lot of apartments on the internet before choosing this one. The apartment was lovely…. the pictures do not do it justice. The apartment was very clean and a lot bigger than I expected. The kitchen was very well equipped and spotless. Nicole (Elaine’s sister) greeted us on our arrival which was very late because the Eurostar was delayed. Both Nicole and Elaine were very helpful before and during our visit. The location felt very safe both late at night and early in the morning. The flat is situated very close to the La Motte-Picquet – Grenelle Metro station which is at the intersection of lines 6, 8 and 10 which means it is easy to get to all the sights and you don’t have to carry your cases far. Alternatively you can walk to the Champ de Mars walk under the Eifel tower and get a Batobus down the Seine to Notre Dame….. not as quick as the Metro but a great way to see Paris. My wife, teenage son + daughter and myself had a great time in Paris and we loved the apartment. We will stay here on our next visit.

Well-equipped apartment in convenient location

This apartment is in a super convenient location: minutes to metro, easy walk to Eiffel tower, off rue de Commerce with some good shopping, 1 block to Monoprix grocery store. We were surprised at how spacious the apartment is: the photos don't do this justice. You have a big living/dining area with windows facing on the street, and then the kitchen & two bedrooms have windows facing onto an interior courtyard. The kitchen had new appliances and most everything you would need to cook meals. The property was clean and well-maintained, and we had good/prompt communication with the owner. The only negative was that the Wi-Fi connection only worked with Apple devices. We couldn't even see the Wi-Fi network on our Android devices.

Wonderful Apartment In Paris with a Terrifc Host!

Our family of 6 had a wonderful time in Paris thanks to this wonderful apartment and our host Eliane! She greeted us at the door and showed us all of the things we needed to know about the apartment and the area. She was very patient with us as we speak only a few words in French and she about the same in English. But we had no problems! We all had a wonderful conversation and we all felt at home. The apartment was perfect for us, less than a 10 minute walk to the Eiffel Tower, shops, grocery store, cafes and restaurants! We even walked to the Louvre and Nortre Dame in 45 minutes, passing many great Paris sights! Everyone we met was helpful and made us feel welcome! The apartment gave us all plenty of room, was quiet at night, and fully equipped with all of the comforts of home. I highly recommend this location and hope you will too! Eliane is a wonderful person and we hope to see her again. Merci Beaucoup Eliane!

Wonderful flat, Great location, Highly recommend.

Our family of 5 stayed in Eliane's apartment for our 11 day stay in Paris. This is our 6th apartment rental in Paris and Eliane's was our favorite. Eliane greeted us on the Rue Due Commerce...just a 30 second walk to the apartment. She thoroughly explained everything to us about the apartment and was very pleasant. The apartment was very well equipped with everything we needed during our stay. It was quite large enough for us. Loved that it is on the ground floor. The location is wonderful since the Metro stop runs through lines 6, 8, and 10...this cut down on travel time and transfers. I would rent this apartment again from Eliane with without hesitation. Great Apartment close to Eiffel Tower (500m)

This apartment was great for a family. Safe, clean & well-maintained. Great location, close to everything you could need. You can get anywhere you want in Paris with little fuss as 3 metro lines are just 100 metres away as well as buses and taxis if you prefer. Eliane is a fantastic host, ready to help if you need anything. Great base to discover Paris from. High recommended as a great spot at good value. Viewed hundreds of apartments on the internet before finding this one - wow big relief! Any questions, don't hesitate to ask Eliane, she is always quick to reply. We are very grateful to Eliane for her faultless hospitality. You can't go wrong with this apartment. Enjoy Paris!

Great Parisian apartment - Home from home

We returned to this apartment after our first visit in 2012. We had a prlonged stay this time around of 6 weeks. Eliane was most helpful. Nothing was too much effort. This is a high quality 2 bedroom apartment in the 15th close to the Eiffel Tower at a reasonable price. A great metro station that services 3 yes 3 lines and excellent shopping opportunities, from a Parisian market, boutique shops and a great Monoprix supermarket. It is clean, well equipped and well maintained. This apartment is ideal for a family with young children, being on the ground floor. Also suitable for several adults travelling together. You can get a great night's sleep as the apartment is very quiet at night considering its central location. This rental location is highly recommended.

Séjour apprécié.

C'est un appartement de très bonne dimension, d'une propreté exemplaire. Situé dans une petite rue calme. Nous retrouvons tout près toutes les commmodités tels que métro, autobus, épicerie grande surface, resto, bistrot etc. A quelques minutes de marche, nous découvrons le Champs de Mars, la Tour Effeil, la Seine, les bateaux -mouches. L'accueil est aussi très chaleureux et les conseils furent grandement appréciés. Un lieu idéal pour celui qui veut un lieu paisible pour le sommeil et une vie très animée durant le jour.

A recommander pour visiter Paris

A quelques pas de toutes les commodités: épiceries, boulangeries, grands magasins, station de Métro, restos, etc... Le Champs de Mars à quelques minutes à pied. L'appartement est bien situé, propre, confortable et bien équipé. Dans le meuble de la salle à manger, une tonne d'informations utiles compilées par la proprio. Vraiment une base parfaite pour visiter Paris. Merci à Eliane - et Nicole - pour l'accueil sympa et les petites attentions.

Voyage magnifique

Venant du Québec, nous avons passé, ma fille, ses deux enfants âgés de 5 et 7 ans et moi, un séjour des plus agréable à Paris l’été dernier. L’appartement est encore mieux que ce que nous pouvons voir sur les photos Il est très spacieux, propre, équipé, éclairé et bien aéré. Même en juillet, nous avons été très confortables. La salle à dîner, adjacente au salon, procure un grand espace où les enfants ont pu s’amuser. Situé au 1er étage, le salon donne sur la rue alors que les chambres et la cuisine donnent sur une cour intérieure. Nous nous sommes senties en sécurité durant tout notre séjour ce qui était primordiale pour une grand-mère avec deux jeunes enfants !! Situé à proximité de tout : Monoprix au coin de la rue pour faire nos courses, traiteurs pour les soupers, divers magasins et le métro et le bus. Il y avait également un marché en plein air qui s’installait à proximité deux fois par semaine. Évidemment, nous n’étions qu’à quelques minutes de marche du Champ mars et de l’École militaire. Nous y sommes allés à plusieurs reprises afi de faire jouer les enfants dans un parc en contemplant la Tour Eiffel. L’accueil personnalisé d’Éliane et de son conjoint fut grandement apprécié. Le fait de savoir que la sœur d’Éliane habitait à quelques pas était également rassurant en cas de pépin, ce qui ne fut, heureusement, pas le cas. En quittant l’appartement pour le retour, au Québec, la question des enfants : « allons –nous revenir ? » avait une réponse facile « on l’espère de tout cœur ! » Ce qui résume bien, je le crois notre appréciation de l’appartement !

Best kept secret in Paris (for a young family)

This is a high quality 2 bedroom appartment in the 15th close to the Eiffel Tower, a great metro station that services 3 yes 3 lines and excellent shopping opportunities, from a Parisian market, boutique shops and a great Monoprix supermarket. It is clean and well maintained, This appartment is ideal for a family with yound children, being on the ground floor, You can get a great night's sleep as the appartment is very quiet at night considering its central location. Eliane was most helpful. Nothing was too much effort. This rental location is highly recommended.

Vacances à Paris

On vient de l'île de la Réunion et on cherchait un appartement sur Paris pour nos vacances. Et bien on l'a trouvé. Nous avons été très bien accueillis par la propriétaire. On a 2 filles de 6 et 2 ans, elles étaient ravies. L'appartement étant au rez-de-chaussé elles pouvaient courir sans gêner les voisins. L'appartement est grand, calme, propre et très bien équipé et il ne manquait rien. Il y avait même un parc parapluie, une poussette et une chaise haute pour la petite. En plus il est idéalement situé à côté de trois lignes de métro et plein de commerces. On a vraiment manqué de rien. En tout cas on a trouvé où passer nos vacances à Paris et on reviendra. Nous conseillons cette location : à tout le monde sans exception, aux seniors, vacanciers sans véhicules, visites touristiques, familles avec adolescents et même familles avec enfants en bas âges
