Our 2 night stay here was really great. The only issue we had was with parking initially as you have to go upstairs to the suite to get the parking pass to the parkade before being able to access which is pretty difficult considering the very busy location. That being said, once we managed through that, the walk from the parkade to the apartment was pretty quick (google told us 12 min walk but is actually only 3 - 5 minutes once you get your bearings). If you dont have a car this is torally a non-issue! The suite itself was great and because its 2 bedrooms, would be fantastic for a family. Access to metro is 1 min away right outside the front door which was fabulous...We'd definitely stay here again!

Spacious and cleanWe stayed at Marialauras apartment and we had a wonderful time. The electronic check-in process had a glitch but after a quick call was quickly addressed. The unit is clean with a well equipped kitchen and we found the convenience of the tram across the street to be a bonus as there were days it was too hot to walk to the city center. We booked the unit as it had air conditioning. Each bedroom and the kitchen had an AC unit which was needed in the Tuscan heat. The parking garage was a short 5 minute walk which was very convenient. Marialaura was a great host checking on us during our visit to see if we had any questions. We would stay here again!

The property is exactly as pictured. It was clean. The AC units worked well. But be aware to not use too much electricity at the same time as we shorted out the power! We could use both AC units in the bedrooms at the same time, which was bliss for sleeping. The place is on the Tram #2 line which is easy to utilize especially from the train station. The unit is in a great location. A bit off the well worn track which makes it a quite place. Still only 15 minutes from the train station. Tram #1 nearby too. Excellent spot to stay. Restful & with a washing machine which was so needed at this juncture of our trip. Marialaura was an excellent host. She answered all of our questions. She has a great book filled with info when you arrive. Ask her about the tour guides she recommends as well. All in all a wonderful stay & I would highly recommend this place & host.

Beautiful! Very spacious and tastefully decorated. Well stocked kitchen (maybe an extra tea towel would have been nice). Great communication from the host. Walking distance to the main downtown area as well as the Santa Maria Novella train station. Would definitely recommend as a great place to stay in Florence.

Girls Trip

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Florence at Marialaura’s apartment. She was an excellent host, helpful and responsive. We were within walking distance to the Historic Center, train station and good restaurants.

Had a nice stay in this flat just outside the city Center so it is about a 30 min walk but overall good amenities and worth it for an abode away from the busy city. Would recommend if you are ok with the distance!

Perfect for our family of 5

This apartment rental was perfect for our family. Location was excellent! Train station a 15 min walk or 2 stop Tram ride from the train station. Tram stop in front of the apartment that will go to the airport. Easy 20 min walk to Duomo. Beds were very comfortable. Some traffic noise but nothing interrupted anyone’s sleep. Apartment was very clean. Marialaura was very responsive and kindly let us leave our luggage a bit longer as we didn’t need to leave until 1330. We were there 2 nights and enjoyed our stay. We just walked everywhere from the apartment until we left snd took the tram to the airport. Perfect stay in Florence!

Spacious and comfortable bedrooms!

This rental is listed as a "cozy flat near the station". While the bathroom is very narrow, the kitchen is comfortably-sized, and both of the two bedrooms are VERY spacious. There is also a separate dining area and a roomy hallway between the two bedrooms. It had quite a bit more room than I expected from the description! The flat is approximately 0.5 miles/0.8km from the railway station. The route between the railway station and the unit is quite easy to navigate, but it is a fairly long walk. With regard to the one of the most popular Florence attractions, I was able to walk the 1.2 miles/1.95km from the flat to the main Duomo cathedral in about 22 minutes. The unit has air conditioners in the bedrooms and in the common space. The host, Marialaura, is extremely helpful. She was ALWAYS accessible and helpful, both before and during our visit. I could not ask for a better host! Note that this flat faces a busy road and intersections; as such, there is a fair amount of noise from the traffic and pedestrian signals. There are no coffee shops, bakeries, or restaurants close by. There is a shop which sells lunch/dinner halal kebab options two blocks away. The nearest grocery store is by the railway station. There are a number of restaurants close to the train station, and a few coffee shops along the way. There are also some pizzerias several blocks to the north of the flat (across the busy roads). The host provides a notebook with a thorough list of recommended restaurants, etc. in the city. The host uses an electronic key system to simplify access to the apartment (the building door and the apartment door). This nominally requires that you have cellular service to enter the doors. I had been getting by in Italy using wifi only on my cell phone until this point and decided to buy a Italian sim card just before arriving in Florence so that I would be able to access the apartment without constantly pestering the host. Turns out I overcomplicated things - I could have used a physical key for the building entrance, then wifi from the flat itself when I got to the apartment front door. Mind your toes in the bathroom - the beautiful black and white tile work makes it hard to see some of the raised obstructions in the narrow room. I jammed my toes once, and my teenaged travel companion tore one of his open on a corner in there. Nothing major, just a caution.

Nettes Appartement, sehr sauber

Das Appartment war großzügig und sehr sauber. Es war alles vorhanden, was man für einen Urlaub braucht. Der Kontakt mit Marialaura war immer freundlich, nett und spontan. Durch den Aufzug war es auch mit Koffer leicht in die 4. Etage zu gelangen.

Very nice place to stay

We enjoyed our stay here very much. The property is on the Tramvia line, which is very convenient. There is some traffic noise in the mornings, so I suggest having a white noise app on your phone. Otherwise, it was great, and Marialaura was extremely helpful with anything we needed.
