NEU FÜR 2019 - unser 10m x 5m Salzwasserpool Eröffnung Mai 2019

L'Etable ist ein alter Stein Kuhstall in einem stilvollen 2-Schlafzimmer-Gite mit freiliegenden Steinmauern und Original-Balken umgewandelt, und voll von Baby-und Kleinkind-Set verpackt, um Ihren Aufenthalt stressfrei zu machen. Neben den üblichen Hochstuhl, Kinderbett und stairgates wir einen Schritt weiter in eine ganze Reihe von anderen Elementen einschließlich Sterilisator, Babywanne, Baby / Kleinkind Besteck, Buntstifte und Papier, socket Abdeckungen und Küchenschrank Schleusen Namen gehen die Bereitstellung nur einige davon.

Das Erdgeschoss wird von einem ursprünglichen Charentaise Kamin (nicht verwendet) und der modernen Küche gut ausgestattet für einen angenehmen Urlaub dominiert - Der Esstisch bietet Platz für bis zu 8, ideal für gesellige Abende genießen gutes Essen und ausgezeichneter Wein .... Der Fernseher hat UK Freeview-Kanäle.

Das Master-Schlafzimmer bietet Platz für ein Kinderbett, wenn erforderlich. Das Schlafzimmer nebenan ist ideal für Kinder (oder Großeltern) mit zwei Einzelbetten und Fensterläden am Fenster, die als Verdunkelung handeln (wichtig, wenn Sie, sobald die Sonne scheint am Morgen aufwachen!).

Der Süden ausgerichteten Garten, immer ein sonniges, ist ideal für entspannte BBQ am Abend, wenn die Kinder im Bett aufgezogen werden (wir haben ein Babyphon für den Frieden des Geistes). Das separate Obstgarten Feld ist ideal für Kinder zum Spielen oder einfach nur die Sonne über die Felder gehen nach unten zu beobachten. Bitte bedienen Sie sich an allen Früchten der Saison (Pfirsiche, Kirschen, Birnen, Feigen und Walnüsse) ...... und wenn Sie sich aktiv fühlen, können Sie in der Games Barn Tischtennis oder Tischfußball spielen oder ein Picknick packen und losfahren Fahrradtour auf den Fahrrädern oder vielleicht die Body Boards zum Strand ...... Und ab Mai 2019 haben wir unseren neuen 10m x 5m großen Salzwasserpool mit Terrasse und Liegewiese.

Superb Stay

Absolutely fabulous. Very clean and superbly well equipped for little ones - it made our holiday so much easier with all the kiddy kit provided. It was so relaxing jut to sit in the garden when the children were in bed and enjoy the peace and quiet. We'll definitely return.

The perfect getaway

Spent a long weekend with a bunch of friends and enjoyed our stay immensely. The whole complex fit 13-15 of us perfectly but stayed in the main farmhouse. It's a home away from home and is equipped for indoor and outdoor dining! It's in a tiny hamlet an hour away from Bordeaux. It's rural setting was the perfect place to get away from it all as we live in a big city. The hosts have a games barn with bicycles to cycle to the nearest boulangerie/cafe/restaurants and of course to explore the countryside. Discovered a great little farmers market in the nearest village called St Genis where the older generation still pay by cheque! If you don't want to cook there is also a great local restaurant nearby who caters for any dietary needs if you book in advance. I am definitely returning to La fermette! Thanks for having us!

The farmhouse is an ideal social space when you rent more than one of the gites. We're pleased you had a good time and took advantage of the bikes to explore the countryside and to zip into St Genis for supplies.

Heerlijk verblijf!

Wij hebben een heerlijk verblijf gehad in woning L’Etable. Het huisje was netjes en goed ingericht. We hebben genoten in het prachtige zwembad. Dit kleine complex ligt in een heel rustig, klein plaatsje, voor ons perfect als uitgangspunt voor uitstapjes naar bijv. de kust, Bordeaux en La Rochelle. ‘s Avonds kun je een wandeling maken langs velden vol zonnebloemen. De kinderen kunnen spelen om het huis, op het grasveld met jeu-de-boules-baan of spelletjes doen in de gamesbarn. Ook zijn er fietsen te leen. Felix en Lesley zijn zeer gastvrije hosts. Wij hebben genoten!

L'Etable

We had a nice holiday in L'Etable in the quiet little village Bribaudon. It's a spacious and well-equiped gite, perfect for 4. Our children enjoyed the toys and drawing material in the gite, they could play in the games barn and off course, they had great fun in the pool! It's ideal for a family holiday.

L'Etable - incredibly well-equipped and spacious.

We recently stayed for a week and thoroughly enjoyed the wonderful L'Etable, which was incredibly well-equipped and spacious. Its in a quiet and picturesque hamlet, but only 10 minutes from the nearest town and lovely local restaurants, we definitely did not run out of things to do. Saint-Emilion and Bordeaux are also only an hours drive away and were definitely worth the short journey, especially if you are a wine lover!! We will definitely be highly recommending L'Etable and can't wait to return! Thank you so much to Lesley and Felix for being so helpful!

Authentic experience of rural France

The location is perfect as not only does it provide an authentic experience of rural France, but it is also within a short drive of the coast, Bordeaux, vineyards and historical towns. It is the perfect location to relax, with its beautiful surrounding countryside and/or to use as a base to explore this region of France. The local village is within walking distance and the local supermarket is within a 5 minute drive. The gite is very comfortable and has all the mod cons you'd need whilst also retaining its authentic feel. Check in and out was also very easy and flexible and the hosts were easy to contact. There is also ample car parking space. I would love to come back here again!!

Great place to stay!

I would highly recommend staying at L'Etable. Fantastic stay at L'Etable!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at L'Etable. The gite is in a great location with plenty of outside space to enjoy the weather. Local supermarkets and restaurants are nearby. The gite was very clean and comfortable, with 2 double sized bedrooms and a large open plan kitchen and living area. I look forward to returning to L'Etable.

Lovely French Countryside stay

We visited this property as a group of friends and it was ideal for a weekend getaway. We stayed in different gites but enjoyed dinner outside in the communal barn area. Our gite was nicely decorated with decent facilities. We loved our French countryside visit.

Lovely gite

We had a wonderful time at the gite, it was ideal for our 4 days on the beach. The location was great for cycling with the children, flat and quiet roads. The gite is beautifully clean and well maintained, we would definitely stay again for a stop over'

We are Lesley & Felix Houareau. We live in a village just outside Bath. We feel very lucky that we live in a beautiful part of the UK but can also spend summer in the Charente Maritime area of France with it's historic towns, pretty ports of the Gironde estuary and great beaches.

Darum fiel die Entscheidung auf diese Unterkunft

We looked for a region with good weather but easier to travel to than the South of France. The Charente Maritime is the 2nd sunniest region of France and a hidden gem known about by the French. Lots of great beaches to choose from and great local (small) markets and rolling countryside with towns and villages with lots of character.
We are in a peaceful hamlet 2.5km from the nearest town but surrounded by fields of sunflowers, wheat and vines and lots of local wildlife. The myriad of lanes around our gites are great to explore by foot or bike (we have a selection of 10 adults bikes and 4 children's bikes on hand). We are close to the Bordeaux / Blaye wine region as well being able to buy the best Cognac locally, and only 30 minutes to the beach. Wine, good food, sun and beaches - what more could you want?

We love the space that we have in the farmhouse and the original features that give the house it's character. The location is rural but not remote as the nearest town is only 2.5 kms away - close enough to cycle to the boulangerie
