Das Hotel liegt im Herzen von Runswick Bay, ist Galleon House eine schöne Ferienhaus mit einem charmanten zeitgenössischen Interieur, mit Einbauten von einem hohen Standard, ideal für einen erholsamen Urlaub am Meer.
Blick auf das Meer aus dem Wohnzimmer, könnte man fast in einer Kabine des Galleon sein! Sie sind mit in ein paar Minuten zu Fuß entfernt vom Sandstrand, Meer, ein Café und ein Pub.
Die Unterkunft erstreckt sich über 3 Etagen. Die Haustür öffnet sich auf der mittleren Etage eine gut ausgestattete, offene Wohn- / Küche / Essbereich Pla-. Im Obergeschoss befindet sich ein Doppelzimmer mit Kingsize-Bett und Bad, während im Erdgeschoss ein Etagenbett Zimmer, das Zimmer ein weiteres Doppelzimmer mit Kingsize-Bett und das Haus Dusche.
Draußen gibt es eine gepflasterte Terrasse mit Tisch und Stühlen, ideal zum Entspannen und den Meerblick genießen.

We had the best break. A mix of weathers, starting with a magnificent sea storm , snug in our beautiful and comfortable house, enjoying the splendour of the best view of the bay. Ending with a peaceful spring-like morning, having breakfast en plein air on a February morning. We loved the cake, prosecco, chocs, bread, jam, milk and daffs left for us - so welcoming. Wonderful cottage

What a wonderful weekend we have had at Galleon House. This cottage is stunning and the attention to detail in the accommodation and decor is first class. All home comfort you can ever dream of and the homemade lemon drizzle cake was outstanding. Can’t wait to go again next year.

A nice rest

This property must be the best in the village. There are wonderful views across the bay and if the window is open, you can hear the waves lapping onto the beach. The property has just about everything to make the stay comfortable and the kitchen is a dream with every utensil you could ever want to use. The host, Sarah, is available and so very helpful to sort any queries. And it was wonderful to be greeted with a welcome pack of essentials like bread, butter and milk, and extra treats like a freshly baked cake and bottle of Prosecco. We went away for a nice little break and this property was the perfect place.

Perfect Stay

Beautiful property with the most amazing view!The cottage itself is warm and cosy, Sarah the host, has thought of everything, there is even an air fryer! Beds are very comfortable. The interior is tastefully decorated. The welcome pack was very generous. We really didn’t want to leave!

Our happy place

Another fabulous stay at Galleon House. The house is stunning as are the views across the bay. We enjoyed swimming and walks on the beach. Sarah’s attention to detail is amazing, the beautiful decor dressed with hearts and flowers for Valentine’s was a lovely touch. The house has everything you need and more for a lovely stay. There was an amazing welcome pack, we especially loved the homemade cake, jam and Prosecco along side milk, juice, bread and butter. We’ve already booked to return.

Amazing place

Absolutely amazing cottage, really well stocked with everything you could conceivably need for a comfortable stay. The homemade cake and welcome pack of bread, milk, jam, orange juice and prosecco were fabulous. We had a blissful New Year with fireworks on the beach, a pub next door and the sound of the sea to wake up to. We loved it, thank you Sarah for the whole experience. Absolutely a five star property.

Winter weekend

Absolutely fantastic. Spent the weekend of my birthday. Upon arrival there were balloons, bunting and a birthday cake (possibly worth the visit alone). There was also a very nice welcome pack that included just what we needed for the next morning before we went shopping. The location is amazing, overlooking the bay and next door to the village pub. Could easily have spent the weekend looking at the view from the living room. The cottage had everything that you would expect to need, beautifully decorated and cosy. Very comfy bed and bedding. Could not have asked for more

Short Break for a total rest

Just perfect. A short break to just do nothing but read, walk and look for fossils. The little things make the biggest impact. Herbs and spices to use when cooking. An excellent selection of cooking pots, pans and dishes. The cake and fizz and other fridge items all made it so much more than a ‘holiday house’. Just lovely. The beds are so comfortable The location is perfect.

Wonderful location and cottage

This has to be the best cottage with the best view I’ve ever stayed in! With an added bonus of being next door to the pub! The whole process of checking in was easy, the cottage was clean and one of the best equipped places I’ve ever stayed! The cottage was spotless, cosy and beautifully decorated. I cannot recommend the hosts or the property enough.

Beautiful

I have stopped in Runswick bay before and always admired this property so was happy to be staying here for my birthday. The property is beautifully decorated and has amazing views of the sea from the large lounge windows. It has a very well equipped kitchen and welcoming gifts of a home baked cake,Prosecco and bread and jam were very welcome. The bedrooms were lovely and bedding and fresh towels were provided. The walk in shower was great. As it was my birthday the 20 steps or so to the Royal Hotel pub was very much appreciated, a very welcoming place with a warming fire. Would absolutely love to stop here again.

Relaxing stay in beautiful space

This property is an absolute gem. From walking through the door we were instantly impressed with the overall cleanliness, tidiness, and homeliness of the place. It is small but was more than big enough to be comfortable for our party of four, and everything has been thought of, from the thoughtful welcome gifts, to a box of books and cupboards full of games as well as everything you could need and more for a comfortable stay. Beds were comfortable, linens clean, plenty of towels, loads of crockery, cutlery, kitchen items etc.

The perfect location

A beautiful spotlessly clean cottage in the perfect location within the village. There is easy access to the beach, the village pub and the beach cafe. The layout of the accomodation allows great views over the sea, and has everything you would need for a comfortable stay. This was our second visit and we will definitely look forward to returning.

Beautiful cottage

A beautiful cottage with breathtaking views over Runswick Bay. Spotlessly clean. The owner has thought of everything and on arrival there are fresh flowers, bread, jam, milk, juice, prosecco! And a delicious sponge cake! As it is the Easter hols we were even treated to some little eggs and choc bunnies for the kids. There is an impressive selection of board games. The cottage is right next door to a quiet pub that serves delicious meals. Can't recommend this cottage highly enough. We've stayed before and we'll definitely book again!

Amazing cottage with fabulous sea views

Another amazing stay for us at Galleon House. Definitely one of the best cottages we have stayed in. The views are so calming, we particularly love watching the sunrise and walking along the beach. Wonderful Winter Break

Galleon House is a fantastic cottage. Great views across Runswick Bay. Perfectly located. Very comfortable ( especially the beds ) and absolutely everything you could need is provided for that 'home from home' feeling. Great communication from Sarah ( who kindly returned a 'phone charger we had left behind ) and a lovely welcome pack of cake, bread,jam & prosecco on arrival. I highly recommend Galleon House as a holiday destination and we will certainly return again. Paul & Gill.
