Made our trip

The property was amazing and we’re so grateful to Roberta for all the excellent advice. Our boys could have spent all day in the pool and the views/sunsets from the property were priceless. Hopefully we can make it back again in the future.

Beautiful apartment overlooking Sorrento

The apartment was exactly as advertised. Spotless clean and with very comfortable beds and nice modern bathroom and kitchen. The yard with the pool was spectacular. Just a beautiful place to relax away from the crowds down in town. Roberta was very helpful and friendly.

Dream vacation

This place was amazing! Pictures of this property do not do it justice. My son loved coming back every day to swim in the pool and my husband and I loved relaxing with a glass of wine and beautiful views from the hills above Sorrento. Our hosts were so kind and helpful with many recommendations for the area.

5 night stay in June

We stayed for 5 wonderful nights in early June. The property us locsted on a secluded street in Capo, a quiet area west of central Sorrento. The location is perfect for those wishing to have a quiet retreat away for the busy centre. The public bus is easily the best way to get around and there is a stop 5mins from the property.The accommodation and its grounds were clean and spacious and enjoyed fantastic views across the bay of Naples. The pool was cool and refreshing, perfect for enjoying a glass of wine and watching the sunset after a busy day exploring this incredible part of Italy.

Paradise by the Sea

Capo de casa was more beautiful than the photos showed. The foliage and gorgeous pool area looking out to the sea is where we spent the majority of our time. So peaceful and relaxing! The owners were gracious and helpful with arranging dinner reservations and suggested outings. Truly one of the best family vacations!! We hope to return next year.

Beautiful Sorrento property

Seamless experience both in the rental process and the stay itself. Great communication, lots of tips on things to do before we arrived, once there Roberta was amazing and incredibly responsive and helpful! Property and location are stunning but it is a bit away from central Sorrento so a fairly long walk or a quick bus ride but during our stay buses were not overly reliable

A little slice of heaven in Sorrento 🍋

The property was jaw-droppingly beautiful! The views were amazing! The pool was perfect! We played foozball one night while overlooking the ocean, watching the sunset!! It was absolutely lovely! The bed was very comfortable, the a/c was nice and cool and there was parking on the quiet street just outside the property. It was a bit difficult initially findinf the property but the host had someone meet us nearby to guide us there. My son and I had such an amazing time we're already talking about scheduling another trip and staying here again!! The host was very kind and helpful as well!

Sorrentine paradise

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Casa del Capo. It is a beautiful property, and the kindness of our host Roberta made it one of our most memorable vacations. The property is located on a steep hill about 5 km outside the town center, which can be reached by public bus but we opted to rent a car. There is a small market at the bottom of the hill where you can pick up wine and groceries. The property was spotless and exactly as depicted in the listing. We drove into Sorrento and Massa Lubrense for dinners and to catch the ferry to Capri. I highly recommend this property for its beauty and location, and especially for the friendly, helpful host!

Best Sunset in Italy

This is a truly amazing property. Unbelievable infinity pool on the hillside overlooking the ocean with lemon trees and beautiful gardens all around. We got takeaway and wine and enjoyed one of the most beautiful sunsets of our life just sitting on the adirondack chairs. The sun sets right in front of you and it is absolutely amazing. Roberta was so pleasant and incredible to deal with. She gave us great suggestions and advice and was very responsive. The dogs were great too haha. The apartment itself was perfect for the 2 of us, clean, modern and we loved the espresso Kuregg! Highly recommend.

Everything about our stay was amazing! The entire property is beautiful and we didn’t want to leave. Roberta is a wonderful host - she was very responsive to our questions and made great suggestions on restaurants and fun things to do. The views and the pool are spectacular. There are several outdoor areas to enjoy, and there are private outdoor areas for each unit. Our villa was perfect for 2 people. We had an extended stay so we washed laundry and cooked quite a few times. There are plenty of supplies and cooking utensils. We had access to linens, etc. and you can have a cleaning service for an extra fee. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was spacious and the rain shower was nice. Make sure you spend some time relaxing and enjoying this place because it is wonderful! There are fruit trees, an outdoor kitchen, the spectacular pool, and even a sauna and outdoor shower. We spent our mornings sitting outside eating breakfast, and our evenings enjoying wine and watching beautiful sunsets. If you get lucky enough to be there during the full moon make sure you enjoy the view of it out over the ocean. The .2 mile hike up the hill from the main road and the bus stop is a great workout. We loved the fact that it was off the beaten path but only a short walk to the bus. The bus service in Sorrento is great, and the buses also go to Amalfi. There is a grocery store by the bus stop where we picked up wine and essentials every day - great cheeses and cured meats.

Der Urlaub im Sorrento Haus war traumhaft

Das Appartement ist super ,ruhig, sauber,sehr stilvoll eingerichtet und wir sind sehr nett und aufmerksam von Roberta empfangen worden. Den Pool und den Garten haben wir täglich genutzt. Eine wunderbare Ferienwohnung

Es war eine sehr schöne Ferienwohnung abgeschieden. Ruhig sauber und modern ausgestattet. Ein kleiner Einkaufsladen 100 Meter entfernt. 3 Sehr gute Restaurants im Umkreis von 50 Meter bis 150 Meter. Die Vermieterin sehr freundlich um absolut umsorgt um einen. Die Ferienwohnung war sehr schön eingerichtet, sauber, und in einem neuen zustand. Die Außenanlage ist traumhaft angelegt. Der Pool ist sauber und wunderschön in die Landschaft integriert. Das Meer ist 250 Meter entfernt schöne Stein Küsten und von maßen Tourismus weit entfernt. Wunderschöne Lagune, mit alten römischen Gemäuern. Pompeji ist eine dreiviertel Stunde entfernt, der Vesuv ist 1 Stunde mit der Bahn und Bus zu erreichen. Die Bushaltestelle ist 3 Minuten zu Fuß entfernt. Eine traumhafte Aussicht von der Terrasse auf das Meer ist gewährleistet, und unverbaut mit Olivenbäumen zu genießen. Wenn Süd Italien dann nur noch in dieser Ferienwohnung. Vielen Dank es war sehr schön bei euch.

Sehr schönes Apartment, wunderbar gelegen

Apartment war zwecksmäßig eingerichtet, eine Grundausstattung an Kaffee, Olivenöl, Salz, Pfeffer etc. war bereits vorhanden. Der Garten ist herrlich und der Blick auf das Meer einfach herrlich. Die Lage war für uns optimal, da nah an Sorrent. Man muss allerdings mit dem Bus fahren, zu Fuß wäre es zu weit bis in die Stadt. Das Apartment ist im Souterrain des Hauses der Inhaber, die sich sehr freundlich um uns gekümmert haben. Eigener Zugang, eigener Stellplatz fürs Auto, eigene Terrasse mit Blick aufs Meer. Uns hat es sehr gefallen, wir würden immer wiederkommen. TK aus Kirchheim unter Teck

The perfect escape from touristy hectics

The apartment and the garden around it are a very fine and quiet little place to return to after having survived the touristy cities of Sorrento, Positano or Amalfi. The apartment is nicely done and fits perfectly for two persons. Garden and pool are artfully designed and create a homely atmosphere. The view is unbelievable, especially at sunset. We will definitely come back!

Sehr freundliche Vermieterin, die bei der Ankunft am Sonntagnachmittag Wasser und Proviant für den ersten Tag in den Kühlschrank gepackt hatte. Einfache, geschmackvolle Einrichtung. Besonders Terrasse und Garten sind sehr gelungen. Tolle Aussicht auf die Bucht von Neapel.

We enjoyed our stay immensely. We were looking forward to relaxing after a bus tour of Italy, and this was the perfect place. It was very easy to get to downtown Sorrento by bus as the bus stop was just an easy walk down the hill. Also at the bottom of the hill just across the street was a mini mart which we visited several times (you can buy bus tickets there as well). The setting of the villas is absolutely stunning, with endless vistas of sea and sky with amazing sunsets. The villa is comfortably furnished inside and out, offering many comfortable seating options. The king sized bed is very comfortable. A washing machine was right next door with racks to dry your clothes. The infinity pool was so inviting in the heat of the day. We enjoyed it immensely as well as the majestic views beyond the pool. Last but not least, our host Roberta was exceptionally kind and helpful during our stay offering suggestions of restaurants, grocery stores, tours and nearby beaches. She treated us like family, which made our stay all the more memorable. We enjoyed a pasta dinner on our last night made with a jar of her home made tomato sauce, which was delicious. We also enjoyed her two dogs Cooper and Kira. Cooper visited us everyday at meal time!! To top it off, the morning of our departure, as it was raining, she offered us a ride to the train station which we readily accepted. We wouldn't hesitate to return to this lovely villa. If you are considering this villa we highly recommend it!!

I was traveling alone so I went and rented a scooter for the week and the check in person, Mario, met me at the scooter rental place to help guide me to the house and even bought my lunch for my birthday at a great little sandwich shop in town. He was also available throughout the week for any questions I had. Check in was a breeze. The property consists of the host home, this studio unit and one other and share the back yard space. I was lucky enough that I was the only guest that weekend and due to the unusually long hot summer, the pool was still open at the end of summer. There was a nice little parking spot for my scooter which was nice. There was a great small market at the bottom of the road with beer, wine, sandwiches and other essentials. The setting and view from the unit was exactly what I was looking for to have a quiet personal zen-like getaway to unplug from the world. Scootering to town and up the Amalfi coast was convenient and something that I will never forget. Can’t wait to come back here next year.

Most Amazing VRBO/ Rental Ever!!

This is the most beautiful stay we have ever had and we would move there if we could. The home is beautiful and the setting is amazing. Most importantly, Roberta is the sweetest host in the world and went above in beyond in making everything amazing! A+! The house is 10 min from the center of town yet you feel like you are much further away. We ordered dinner one night and ate it under the lights on the beautiful patio. Thanks Roberta for everything, we will be back!!
