Perfect stay :)

We´ve stayed for 4 nights in this amazing place. The owner is very friendly and very interested that you have a wonderful time in Alicante. You can ask everything. The room is spacious, lovely decorated and clean. We cooked in a fully equipped kitchen opened to the living and dining room. Nice panorama view over a park. It´s really close to the beach (much more quite than Alicante center) and good tapas restaurants. It takes 20-30 minutes to get to the city center by bus…but that´s no problem. We´ll come back with friends. This apartment was worth every penny!! Special thanks to Kees!

Immaculate, well located apartment with amazing views.

My husband and I went to Playa San Juan to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary and found it to be the perfect place to relax. On arrival we found the apartment to be modern, clean and airy - the real 'wow' factor was the amazing panoramic views from the huge sliding windows, you can see the large park outside with the waterfall, tram line to the right and mountains in the distance. The bed was nice and comfy and the kitchen well equipped. Kees met us at the flat, he was very friendly, and more than happy to answer any queries that we had on arrival or give assistance during our week. Outside is the communal pool which we found to be the perfect place to relax if we wanted a break from the beach. Playa San Juan is all about the beach! Miles and miles of fabulous pale golden sand, lovely clean, warm sea. We paid 12 euros for two sun beds with parasols which we kept for the whole day - definitely worth it in the heat. The apartment was a great base for exploring the area, with the air conditioned tram just a stones throw away you can easily travel up and down the coast from Benidorm to Alicante - we especially enjoyed visiting El Campello in the evening. All in all a very relaxing and enjoyable holiday at this lovely apartment in Playa San Juan - definitely recommend!

Very nice stay with some reservations

Review by a Spanish speaking family - of 4 (2 children, 12 and 6). I would give the apartment 3.5 stars but there is no option for this. A very nice apartment in a good location, urban but not noisy. Kees and Ana are lovely and helpful. The apartment is clean and modern, with a large living room area, big TV, DVD player, good wifi. The kitchen area is just off the living area and is quite small with not much room to prep food etc. There is a very good coffee machine that you have to buy pods for from the supermarket. There is a washing machine but no dishwasher. Unfortunately the electricity keeps cutting out if using the oven and washing machine or hob at the same time so don't expect to be cooking large meals easily. The main bedroom is separated from the living room by a curtain on one side but the other bedroom with two beds has a sliding door off the living room. Beds are very comfortable, the main one a queen size. Ceiling fans in both bedrooms. The aircon works great but is not always needed even when hot (it was 32 degrees when we were there) as the large windows open to allow the breeze in and the apartment is north facing so doesn't get the sun (thankfully) during the day. There is a great view out to the beautiful park. The photos are a bit deceptive as it appears that there might be a balcony separate from the living room but there isn't. The living room has a guard rail once the windows are open that is about waist high so I would not recommend this apartment for very young children who like to climb as it is on the 5th floor. Most things are supplied but I was surprised that there weren't more towels provided (just one large towel per person and 4 hand towels) and that there weren't things to take to the beach (there is one small chair and a small parasol provided but as it is quite expensive to hire sunbeds and parasols at the beach I would have thought more could be provided at the apartment). The swimming pool is nice but in need of some repair. Many of the tiles had come away and other parts needed fixing (hand rails etc). It's a trek in the lift though. It was still nice to use although crowded at weekends but ok during the week especially in the morning. But the pool does not open until 11am which was very annoying. It is a residential block and so nearly all Spanish people, and very friendly. The beach is 10 mins walk and is great with plenty of good restaurants etc. Supermarket is 15 mins walk but smaller shops are closer

Thank you very much for your detailled review. I am sorry to hear that you find 4 euros too expensive for a sunbed for the whole day on the beach. Mind that not even in a 5 star hotel they provide these equipment to go to the beach and the little chair and parasol are not mentioned in the web as they were left by other visitors and are not in the equipment of the flat. All guard rails of appartments the world are on waisthigh. The web gives a perfect description of the flat and easily shows there is no balcony. We are sorry to hear that you needed more towels and we would gladly had given you more if you had said so. We always want to be as helpfull as we can and are aware that your holidays are very important for you. More than 100 visitors have given us a 5 star review and they cannot be wrong!

Nice apartment with great view

We (2 adults, 2 children, 10 and 14) spent a week in the apartment at the end of October / beginning of November. We really enjoyed the time. The large window front in the apartment offers a great view over the park. The apartment is well equipped, the kitchen equipment was sufficient to cook simple dishes. We missed only a kettle, but for a week it was OK to heat water for tea in a pot on the stove. The beach can be reached in 10 minutes and is nice. Now in fall it was very empty, the restaurants were partly closed. The nice weather made it warm enough to swim in the sea. Our kids also enjoyed using the game and fitness equipment on the beach and in the park. We could reach the city of Alicante with the TRAM from the stop Campo de Golf (thanks Kees for the hint) in 15 minutes.

Ein tolles Appartement

Die 14 Tage in diesem schönen Appartement waren wunderbar. Die Aussicht ist toll, abwechslungsreich, es gibt immer etwas zu kucken. Der nahe Strand in San Juan ist um diese Jahreszeit wunderbar leer, man kann stundenlang am Wasser entlanglaufen. Uns fehlten typisch spanische Restaurants, sie hatten so früh im Jahr noch nicht geöffnet. Also haben wir in der gut ausgestatteten Küche selbst gekocht, leckeren Fisch und Gemüse - man kann in der Nähe alles einkaufen. Sehr gerne kommen wir einmal wieder, die Gastgeber kümmern sich und sind sehr sympathisch. Danke - Birgitt und Ute

Prima appartement

Gezellig appartement met mooi uitzicht en een prima ligging t.o.v. strand, tram en winkels. Eigenaar is heel gastvrij en behulpzaam. Kortom een heerlijke week gehad met 2 kids van 6 en 8.

Un apartamento muy coqueto.

El apartamento nos ha parecido perfecto. La reforma del piso es muy inteligente, el cerramiento exterior es magnífico y la decoración y luces muy chula. Nos vamos enamorados del Chester y la grandísima TV. Enhorabuena por el buen gusto del interiorismo y la inteligencia en la reforma. No hemos tenido ningún problema, salvo la luz que se nos ha ido un par de veces por exceso de carga al cocinar. El dueño, Kees, ha sido puntual y muy amable. La playa no está cerca, pero la estupenda piscina y el magnífico parque que no es solo una bonita vista, consuelan el paseo con creces. Han sido unos días muy agradables.

Perfect location for beach and city break

We spent 10 nights over Easter 2018. The apartment was spacious with amazing views of the mountains. The beds were really comfortable and we all slept so well in them! We shopped around quite a bit before we chose this apartment and we could not find anything that came even close to this! Don't be put off by there not being a balcony - the floor to ceiling windows open fully so the whole length of the apartment is open - much better than a balcony. We will definitely be back, 5 stars and full marks from us!

Sejour parfait

Nous sommes une famille de 4 personnes et nous avons tous apprécié cet appartement decore avec gout, propre et parfaitement équipé ( bonne literie, clim, machine a laver....). En plus l appartement est tres bien situé proche de la plage, des commerces et d un parc. Et les hôtes sont tres accueillants et attentionnés. Nous avons vraiment passé un sejoir de 3 semaines tres agreable. Merci beaucoup, nous pensons deja a revenir...

Todo perfecto

Estancia perfecta, apartamento totalmente equipado con todo lo necesario. Su anfitrión muy atento en todo momento, la parada del tranvía en la puerta, el enclave del parque inmejorable, parece que estás en plena naturaleza. Si volviera de nuevo a Alicante me volvería a alojar sin duda en este precioso apartamento. Muchas gracias por todo!!!!

Lovely apartment in lovely area

We are a family of 4 with 2 children and we found this apartment had everything we needed, from a cot and highchair to all the cutlery/glasses etc and a nice kitchen area with washing machine, oven, microwave and large fridge and freezer. The beds were really comfortable and the overall feel of the apartment was comfortable, modern and bright. There is a lovely park just outside which is lovely to look out over - only small problem is the noise from the frogs at night! But we just closed the windows at night and used the ceiling fans when it was warmer. The pool is nice, it was clean and well looked after as was the little park and all the communal areas. The apartment is right next to a tram stop if you want to get around on the tram, we mostly walked but did use it a few times and found it very clean, fast and easy to use. The beach is a pleasant stroll away, took us about 15 minutes with a pushchair and lots of bags of beach toys! The area has a lovely long sandy beach, there are lifeguards and it is well looked after. There are a lot of bars/cafes and restaurants on the beachfront promenade and on the next few streets back. Everything was lovely and the owners were friendly and helpful, they gave us lots of information on where to find everything and seemed genuinely happy to help. Thanks Kees and Ana

Excellent appartement à Alicante

Nous avons séjourné 5 nuits dans cet appartement situé tout près de la plage San Juan à Alicante, et nous comptons bien y retourner! Appartement parfait pour notre petite famille (2 adultes, 2 enfants et 1 bébé). Parking sécurisé dans la résidence. Et la longue plage de San Juan à 10 minutes à pied environ (peut-être moins sans les enfants :)) Bref nous avons beaucoup aimé notre séjour et nous planifions à présent le prochain! Un grand merci Cornelis & Ana, les propriétaires, qui ont été très avenants et joignables!

HERMOSO APARTAMENTO

Pasamos una semana muy agradable en este precioso apartamento, tiene unas vistas muy lindas especialmente el parque con la cascada, ideal para dar un paseo al atardecer, la playa muy cerca, 5 minutos andando y muy bien comunicado, bares, restaurantes, todo cerca. Los propietarios Kees y Ana muy agradables. Totalmente recomendable si quieres pasar unas buenas vacaciones!!

Perfect in everyway

I have nothing negative to say about this apartment or complex. I have stayed in many apartments over the years in San Juan and this is by far the best. Modern, clean and comfortable. Stunning views day and night. A lovely spacious open plan setting. Beds are comfortable and plenty of room for storage. My 2 children slept well and seemed at home here. The owners are lovely too :) We will be back for sure. I cant wait to book up for next year!! thanks Helen

Perfect in everyway

I have stayed in a few different apartments in San Juan over the years but this one is by far the best. Stunning, modern, clean apartment with amazing views. It is open plan which I found better with 2 young children as I could see them!! Beds and pillows are very comfortable which I find is rare ;) A decent kitchen with plenty of space for food preparation and storage. I cant think of anything negative about this apartment or complex. The owners are also lovely and approachable. We will be back for sure. Thanks :)

Appartement is ruim, licht en clean. In een woord fantastich! Het brede zandstrand ligt vanaf appartement via een prachtig park 5 min. lopen, waar diverse goede restaurantjes liggen. Supermarkt ligt ook op loopafstand, net zoals de tramhalte. Tramrit tot Benidorm is een aanrader, vanwege de omgeving. En last but not least: Kees en Ana zijn gastvrije, vriendelijke en behulpzame hosts. Wij zullen dit appartement zeker promoten en hopen er ooit nog een keer gebruik van te maken. Precioso apartamento

Hemos pasado una semana allí y hemos estado muy cómodos. Las vistas del parque son estupendas y es perfecto para dar un paseo al atardecer. La playa está a 5 minutos y está muy bien comunicado. Si quieres pasar unos días de playa tranquilo lo recomendamos. Además, Kees y Ana son muy amables y atentos.

Fantastic, modern and perfectly located appartment!

Kees and Anna are great hosts, the appartment was very clean when we arrived and very modern and nicely decorated. The view is amazing! Our stay in Alicante was fantastic. The appartment is very nice located, very close to the beach, supermarkets and restaurants. We will defenitely come back!
