Cloudbreak wurde 2014 fertiggestellt und ist ein schönes, helles und luftiges Haus mit 2 Schlafzimmern und 2 BĂ€dern, das voll klimatisiert ist. (Unser Haus kann auch in eine vollstĂ€ndig private Wohnung im Obergeschoss VRBO 1203513 oder ein privates Studio im Erdgeschoss VRBO 1203847 unterteilt werden). Das Erdgeschoss ist als wunderschön eingerichtetes Studio mit voll ausgestatteter KĂŒche, modernen GerĂ€ten, Innenbad mit begehbarer Dusche und Außendusche sowie eigener Waschmaschine und Trockner verfĂŒgbar. Die Veranda im Erdgeschoss bietet Gartenblick und lĂ€dt zum Hören der morgendlichen Singvögel ein. Das Obergeschoss ist als separate Wohnung mit 1 Bett / 1 Bad verfĂŒgbar. Das Obergeschoss verfĂŒgt ĂŒber vordere und hintere Veranden mit Nut- und Feder-Hochbalkendecken. Die Ansicht ist 360 Grad des Atlantiks und des Exuma-Tones. Das Obergeschoss verfĂŒgt ĂŒber eine zusĂ€tzliche voll ausgestattete KĂŒche, ein großes Badezimmer mit ebenerdiger Dusche sowie eine eigene Waschmaschine und einen Trockner. Die beiden sind durch ein privates ĂŒberdachtes Treppenhaus verbunden, das die FlexibilitĂ€t bietet, als Haus mit 2 Schlafzimmern / 2 BĂ€dern gemietet zu werden oder das Obergeschoss vom Untergeschoss zu trennen. Dies ist perfekt fĂŒr eine große Familie oder zwei Paare, die zusammen reisen. Es gibt jedem viel Platz und PrivatsphĂ€re. Alle unsere Böden sind in poliertem TĂŒrkis und Blau gehalten. Dies gibt Ihnen die Illusion, auf Wasser zu gehen. Wir haben unser Zuhause so gestaltet, dass es surfer-, schnorchler- und fischerfreundlich ist, aber dennoch perfekt fĂŒr einen romantischen Kurzurlaub geeignet ist. Wir haben viele Veranden zum Faulenzen, Aufbewahren und SpĂŒlen von Strandutensilien.
Unser Haus verfĂŒgt ĂŒber brandneue Mitsubishi Slim-AC-GerĂ€te in allen Zimmern.
Zu den KĂŒchen gehören: Mikrowelle, Backofen / Herd, Kaffeemaschine, GeschirrspĂŒler, KĂŒhlschrank, Topftopf, Mixer, Reiskocher, Töpfe / Pfannen, Silberwaren, Geschirr und vieles mehr.

Schlafgelegenheiten: Im Erdgeschoss befindet sich ein Queensize-Bett und ein Queensize-Futon im TV-Bereich fĂŒr vier Personen. Im Obergeschoss befindet sich ein privates Schlafzimmer mit Queensize-Bett und ein Queensize-Futon im offenen Wohnzimmer fĂŒr vier Personen. Familien sind immer willkommen.

Great home base with amazing views!

We loved our stay at Cloudbreak! Loved being centrally located on the island to be able to explore different things every day. The home was very comfortable and had everything we needed. Communication with the owners and caretaker was easy and helpful. They went above and beyond to help us get the most out of our vacation. The road to get to the house was a little rough (as are many on the island) and the walk to Surfer’s Beach is not for the faint of heart. But we loved the adventure and the views from such a high vantage point were worth it!

Relaxing home!

Such a beautiful and comfortable home! Spectacular views from inside and out, home is well equipped and beds were comfy and All amenities were very nice. . The owners were easy to communicate with and very helpful!! . Great location for surfers beach , as well as many other beaches all over the island. be ready to explore this rugged island, the way the Caribbean used to be! Many great memories made this trip ! Also, take extra cash as some of the restaurants only take cash, which we did not know until later.

Fantastic home base on Eleuthera!

We had an amazing stay at Cloudbreak. 4 of us, 2 adults, and 2 teenagers stayed in the spacious house.It is exactly as described. Not super fancy, but absolutely peaceful. The views, on both balconies, allow you to enjoy the beautiful ocean on one side, and the Sound on the other. Maureen and Thomas were very helpful. They reached out, gave us ideas of where to visit, swim, snorkel, and shop. They were very responsive to all our questions. Renae, the property manager, was also helpful.The house: Although we rented the whole house, for both bedrooms, we only used the upstairs kitchen. It had all the amenities we needed. The house was clean, the beds were comfortable. We did not need anything else.Best part was sitting on the balcony, reading a book while feeling the breeze.Eleuthera is as described. It is low on tourist infrastructure, but perfect for escaping to paradise. We snorkeled, visited the caves, investigated the island, went to the nature preserve, and just loved every part of it.Wish I was still there!

An Adventurers Tropical Paradise

The house is breathtaking. It is exactly what I dream of when I think of an ideal tropical home. I love the location atop the small mountain-like hill. We stayed in the upstairs unit. While no one else was there while we were, I couldn't imagine it being invasive or an issue if there was another party staying there. Upstairs on the porches and the views alone you can stay in tune with winds and sea conditions all day long. If you love being up at sunrise and attentive for sunset, look no further than this home. The amenities are wonderful from the kitchen supplies to the mountain bikes. The beach is about a 10 min walk and very peaceful. I never meet the direct neighbors to this home but I hear they are great. It was a very relaxing experience and I really felt like I had discovered my own paradise. If it is windy and or sunny on one side just go to the other for a change in elements. I hope to return next year with some family members and rent the entire home. Thanks Tom and Maureen, you were great to us throughout the whole experience!

Amazing vacation home with best view on the Island

We had an absolutely amazing trip! This home is super relaxing, and Melinda and I agree best vacation ever! :) The owners put incredible attention to detail and are very artistic in their design and color schemes throughout the house. It is located on the highest point on the island, giving you an amazing 360 degree view, perfect for watching sunrises and sunsets. Since located on this outer island so far from cities, at night time the sky is bright with stars, and we could see fireflies in the trees and lightning in the distance, our own natural private fireworks show. We arrived on Saturday. Spent all day Sunday at the three snorkeling sites recommended. The first spot Naval base was a bit spooky and exciting. "The Pines" site had the largest coral reef I've ever seen so close to shore. I loved the deep shelves with big fish and Melinda liked the more shallow areas with smaller colorful fish. The sky resort was the perfect last stop with barbecue, pool bar, and hot tub! Yesterday we ate breakfast (delicious Coconut French toast) at the Cove and used their beach. The Cove will let you in as long as you have reservations for the restaurant, thus you have to call ahead and make a reservation, and that is what gets you "on the guest list." As long as you're eating there, that makes you a paying customer, and with their high prices, you're definitely paying for the nice amenities. The hammocks are nice for taking naps. After breakfast, we slipped into our swimwear. Plenty of open comfortable chairs on the beach, while sitting there they pamper you and bring towels, ice water, and popsicles for free. All of the toys are laying on the beach, just walk up and grab a kayak or paddle board for free. After the beach, hop in the infinity pool to rinse salt water off and kick back with a drink and enjoy the view. Melinda says they make the best pinacoladas. Each night went back to the house, relaxed on the upper floor balcony and watched the sunset into the ocean. They have a nice stereo system that I was able to play music over Bluetooth from my phone, and a high tech Samsung TV that I was able to play Google movies from my phone using WiFi Smart Connect while kicking back with a couple cold beers from the refrigerator. All the amenities from home, on a beautiful tropical island with crystal clear water and colorful reefs, doesn't get better than this!

Wonderful Island Getaway

We spent a wonderful week at Cloudbreak. Every amenity a family of four needs. Great weather, fun surf, superb snorkeling. Easy 15 minute walk through a quiet neighborhood to the beach. Four wheel drive rental really helps get around on the island. Tom and Maureen are super responsive and full of great local info. Don’t miss this sure to please vacation spot.

Everything one could want for an off the beaten path island experience!

Beautiful fresh sea breezes throughout house with view of ocean off one deck and the sound off the other. Choice of waves or crystal clear waters each day. Perfect spot for sunrise and sunset views. Plus all the creature comforts of home. Fantastic vacation rental. Eleuthra is quiet and remote, with friendly people and beautiful nature everywhere to explore and/or just relax in. Very special place.

Everything from the stunning views, updated appliances, detailed descriptions of local life, and so much more Tom and Maureen offer. We can’t wait to come back next year. Another Great Stay in Paradise

Our family returned to Gregory Town for another relaxing week at Cloudbreak. Each sunset is different in its own way as is the beautiful view of the water from the upper deck. Definitely schedule a stay here in the future. You'll love it!

A week at Cloudbreak

I have stayed at many VRBO homes and Cloudbreak is the best. The home itself is perfectly maintained, beautifully designed and fully stocked with anything you forgot to pack on your way here. Its central location allows for an easy trip to Harbor Island or a day trip to the Cove resort for the best meal ever. Call for reservations to get past the gate. If you want to spend a very pleasant day you can purchase the 1/2 day facility fee of $35 for the beach and all the toys. Harbor Island is a great adventure with the golf carts. The Queens Conch has the BEST conch possible. Great side trip to pink sand beaches. This is a must do day trip. We went to the Hatchet Bay Cave and terrified ourselves. Must bring good flashlights and a level head before exploring it as it is unguided and could be potentially dangerous. No one else was there the day we explored the upper chambers and after about 300 yards there is an escape exit opening up to the middle of a overgrown field. The cave is suppose to go a mile. We did not find out. The Cloudbreak home is a 10 out of 10. Steve Tayman 1/18/18

Beautiful views and extremely comfortable.

This property has some of the most beautiful views on the island of both the Atlantic side as well as the Exuma side. The house is beautiful, easy to access and is equipped with everything you could possibly need and more. When considering a vacation around Eleuthera Island Shores one can't go wrong booking a stay at Cloudbreak.

Awesome place to stay, won't be our last time staying there.

Great hosts and owners, keep the place in great shape. Awesome views from the balcony, great for morning coffee or evening drinks. No place better to stay in North Eleuthra!

Place was lovely had everything we could want ; clean and cozy

We were a bit surprised to be on the first floor in one room 4 people without view as the upstairs with view and deck and private space was empty Kind of put a kink in romance ; not a good one Other than that lovely house

Unbelievably awesome with stunning views!!

This trip to Cloudbreak was to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary and it was amazing. The home was beautiful, the views spectacular, and close to Surfer's Beach. I was able to paddle out on a perfect day with perfect waves. I knew I had caught the right day when it was myself and only five locals riding the waves. The home is perfectly decorated with all the modern conveniences, if you need them. We really liked the sliding screens that kept the bugs out and the cool breezes blowing, not that there were many bugs. With the concrete construction, hurricane windows and doors, I thought to myself, "I would have no worries if I was to be staying here when a hurricane rolled in". With the home's location, it was perfect for our love of adventure and it easy to explore. We have only been back in Florida a few days and we are trying to figure out when we can get back!

Tom is a retired Firefighter, a surfer, and a pilot.
Maureen is a retired Firefighter of 28years on the job.
We both have an adventurous spirit.
We fell in love with Eleuthera many years ago.
Our children grew up vacationing on the island throughout their childhood. We currently reside in Florida.

After having young adult dreams of building a home on Eleuthera, we worked hard to accomplish our goal.
In 2009 we looked for vacant land to build a home and found a incredible lot which most Bahamians say is the highest lot on Eleuthera. THE VIEW!!!

THE VIEW!!! and THE BREEZES!!! The super clear water! The beaches and local Bahamaian culture keep us coming back. We love the laid back lifestyle.
