Bahama Sunset ist eine wunderschöne Insel zu Hause auf schroffen Klippen mit Blick auf den ruhigen karibischen Ozean!

Die Gäste des Bahama Sunset haben von jedem Fenster aus einen Blick auf das kristallklare, blaugrüne Wasser und können jede Nacht atemberaubende Sonnenuntergänge beobachten, die von der Rundum-Terrasse, die über den Klippen hängt, ins Meer gleiten. Sie werden ausgezeichnetes Schnorcheln und Tauchen in einer Minute zu Fuß über die Steinstufen finden, die Sie zu Ihrer eigenen privaten Lagune bringen.

Das Meeresleben in unserer "Lagune" umfasst farbenfrohe Papageienfische, Ballonfische, Muränen, Zackenbarsche, Hummer, Krabben, Nadelfische, rote Fächer, Meeresschnecken, viele Korallenarten und viele andere Arten von Meerestieren. Eleuthera ist eine ruhige, ländliche Insel und das nahegelegene Dorf Gregory Town ist eine verschlafene Hafenstadt voller bahamaischer Eingeborener. Das Nachtleben bei Bahama Sunset umfasst ein Orchester von Grillen und den Tanz des Ozeans in der Lagune.

Bahama Sunset ist der perfekte Ort, um mit dem besonderen Menschen davonzukommen und viel Zeit alleine zu verbringen. Dieses Haus wurde mit Liebe für 2 gebaut, jedoch gibt es ein großes Futon-Bett im großen Zimmer für zusätzliche Gäste. Viele der Gäste, die Bahama Sunset besuchen, feiern ihre Verlobungen, Flitterwochen oder Jubiläen. Eleuthera ist eine ruhige Insel, bestehend aus lokalen Bauern und Fischern. Alles ist wirklich entspannt und es ist kein typisches Touristenziel. Sie werden keine überfüllten Strände finden. In der Tat werden Sie wahrscheinlich die einzigen Menschen an den meisten Stränden der Insel sein. Es gibt Dutzende von wunderschönen, abgelegenen Sandstränden auf der ganzen Insel, viele davon weniger als eine Meile entfernt. Das Haus liegt etwas südlich von Gregory Town (weniger als eine Meile). Sie können von MIA, FLL oder NAS aus einen der beiden Flughäfen von Eleuthera (ELH oder GHB) anfliegen. Das Haus hat weder Internet noch ein Telefon, aber es steht ein Mobilfunkdienst mit Daten zur Verfügung. Es gibt Orte auf der Insel, an denen Sie Ihre E-Mails über WLAN abrufen können, falls dies erforderlich ist. Es gibt mehrere Restaurants in der Nähe und es gibt Geschäfte in Gregory Town. Unser Hausmeister Phillip kann Ihnen bei der Organisation von Surfbrettern, Chartern, Angelführern, Fahrrad- und Kajakverleih behilflich sein. Denken Sie daran, dass Sie viele Strände der Insel nicht ohne Auto erkunden können. Zum Meer gelangt man über eine Treppe und eine kleine Leiter (aufgrund der Gezeiten). Das Paradies auf Erden

Das Haus auf der Klippe ist wunderschön, die Umgebung traumhaft und die Leute auf der Insel sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Strände auf der Insel sind so schön das kann man nicht beschreiben. Alles in allem Ferien in denen man alles vergisst.

Wonderful stay

We really enjoyed our stay in this rustic no frills cabin. The views and wildlife are exceptional! Sea turtles abound! The owner was attentive and the check in and out process were seamless. We spent the bulk of our stay at the house enjoying the ocean and turtles, no need to venture out much. Bring a good book, some reef safe sunscreen (please) and relax!

Private Aquarium

Location, location, location. We only left the property a few times. Snorkeling in the lagoon was awesome most days... watched turtles and fish off the deck. We thoroughly enjoyed our time.

Unreal!

This was the most amazing place!! It was everything and more. The property and lagoon below are unreal with the marine life you see snorkeling and the setting in general is simply perfect. This is my third time here and first time at this house. I cannot wait to come back and stay here again!! Most vacations for me I feel the house is just somewhere to go back to at the end of the day but this place is completely different! We loved our time spent at the house lagoon, jumping from the rocks and snorkeling seeing turtles and so much other life! We made sure hanging in the lagoon was a big part of our time spent and then secondly traveled to local beaches within minutes after we spent time at the house. Surreal!The location and house is unmatched. What an unforgettable experience! Thank you! Can’t wait to come back

Paradise

We have been to Eleuthera before and loved the island. Nothing prepared us for the sheer beauty of this location. The house exceeded our expectations, from the moment we walked in. Philip is a true gentleman, and the house was full of fresh flowers when we were warmly welcomed. I am the cook and wanted for nothing in the kitchen. The view was beyond imagination. We enjoyed watching the sea life and the sunsets. The house was spotless and appointed nicely. There is no TV which is a blessing, my wife and I got reacquainted and had a great time playing gin at night. Gregory Town has everything you need. The 7 to 11 has a good selection of groceries as well as gas. Unca Gene's has wonderful lunches. We explored all the beaches we could find, I couldn't choose a favorite, but Receiver's is certainly at the top of our list, as well as the Airport/Navy beach on the Atlantic side.

2nd Time - Just as Amazing

We enjoyed our stay in March so much, we couldn’t wait to come back. This time, while snorkeling in the lagoon, we spotted one of the sea turtles and a lion fish. This charming and comfy cottage is perfect for a couples getaway. Phillip, the caretaker is also wonderful.

A Great Place to Unwind

My wife and I had four relaxing days here. It's a great place to turn off your cell phone, enjoy the ocean and unwind. The house had proper kitchen tools and we were able to find convenience/grocery stores nearby to buy ingredients for basic meals. We found a couple of great restaurants for dinner that provide some variety and local flavors. Having a car was a must as we were able to explore the island and go to the beach for a great day out. Highly recommend!

Honeymoon with a view.

Firstly, I have to say we wanted to be somewhere off the beaten path, away from crowds, places like Atlantis or Sandals. This was exactly what we needed. My wife and I came to Scott's property for our honeymoon and were definitely not disappointed. We explored the island every day, spent afternoons snorkeling in the cove, had dinner at different restaurants on the island. Did a little grocery shopping at the North Eleuthera shopping center and Seymours Variety. Checked out just about every beach, cave, point of interest we could. Drove all the way south to Lighthouse beach and had the entire place to ourselves. The cove at the property was amazing, a school of fish would come through every morning and we would rush to go swim with them. TONS of fish in the cove to see. I would bet that we spent a good 2-3 hours a day just watching the fish. Spanish wells was ok, not really what we went to the island for but interesting nonetheless. I really liked Daddy Joes restaurant. My wife even left her purse there and they found it, put it in a special spot, and when we came back the next day they had held it for her where no one could get it. Although with how friendly everyone was i doubt it would have been a problem. Such amazing people! All in all it was a wonderful experience, I would definitely come back again, but next time I'm gonna suck it up and try the Souse with my man Jah. We have so many good stories from our trip to Paradise. Sorry it took so long for us to review

Simply Amazing

We had such a wonderful time at this property for our 30th anniversary. It's a cozy cabin with enough room to be comfortable and the amenities we needed to do a lot of our own meal prep. We visited several beaches while on Eleuthera, and none even came close to offering the property's view and snorkeling opportunities. In the lagoon, we saw several reef fish, including needlefish, barracuda, porcupine fish, grouper, spiny lobster, stingray, and more. The location is a favorite for several sea turtles as well. The steps to the water are steep, and the ladder into the lagoon requires a bit of upper-body strength and courage to navigate, but we did alright (in our 50s). If you like seclusion, peace, and amazing views this property has it! We also liked the central island location, not too far from areas like Gregory Town or Governor's Harbor for shopping and dining out.

Quiet private vacation for 2

Very quiet and very private cabin-like home perfect for 2. Lovely deck overlooking the beautiful turquoise water. We didn’t swim as the wave were very rough during our stay-but with beaches all over the place, that was ok.

Perfect view at a perfect location

Obviously the view is absolutely amazing and yes it’s better in person! Love the simplicity of the house - found the inside to be nicer than i anticipated from the pictures. It’s cozy but charming! We did spend most of the time at the house on the back porch though! We were delayed a day arriving which created some stress but Phillip met us at the property when we made it in with the car that we were also renting for the week. Made it entirely stress free and we needed that after being delayed 24 hours in a canceled flight / standby mess coming in. Would definitely rent here again!

Spectacular location

House is spartan, but has all that you need and is comfortable. The site is just perfect. Great snorkeling right out your door and down the steps, as well as to north and south of cottage. Plus you can spend hours gazing at the sea and watching for sea turtles from the porch. And spectacular beaches a drive away to north and south. Host & caretaker were very easy to work with. Eleuthera is a place to slow down and go with the flow. Nearby grocery/convenience stores may not have exactly what you are looking for, but have pretty much all that you need.

Breathtaking View

Bahama Sunset exceeded our expectations. From the deck, we watched everyday as the sea turtles swam by. At night, we watched the stars and the occasional satellite zip across the sky. It was truly a magical location and vacation. We will be back!

Wonderful place to stay

Beautiful place to stay. The swimming and snorkeling in the lagoon is amazing. Quiet and peaceful property. Rustic but charming. Inside not great for lounging on a rainy day but we spent most the time outside anyway! We will be back.

Private and relaxing!

The most relaxing vacation ever. We enjoyed the very private and safe space. The lagoon was fun to snorkel in and watch fish and turtles swim. The sunsets were incredible from the deck and we enjoyed cooking local fish and conch on the outdoor grill. We hope to visit again!
