Welcome to Mauritius! ‘Villa Pampas’ is a 160 sqm geodesic dome villa with a unique architecture where a sense of harmony, light and space prevails. With a large private pool and a lush tropical garden entirely fenced to guarantee total intimacy, you will enjoy a very comfortable, peaceful and safe holidays during your stay. ‘Villa Pampas’ boasts a suite on the ground floor (master bedroom with kingsize bed and adjacent bath room), two bedrooms on the first floor (with queen size bed) with another bathroom, all bedrooms air conditioned, a very spacious living room with an elegant interior design of contemporary style, a fully equipped kitchen, wifi, satellite dish TV, DVD, monitored alarm system with mobile guarding intervention from Brinks, baby equipment (cot, highchair, stroller, rocker, safety stair gate) as well as a cleaning lady services inclusive. The cleaning lady is very quiet and helpful, and she may prepare typical local dishes and cuisine as an optional extra. ‘Villa Pampas’ is located within walking distance (100m) of the very nice Albion public beach and the Club Med La Plantation d’Albion 5 star resort where you may have the opportunity of enjoying some of their services (Bar/Restaurant on all inclusive, nautical sports, pools, mini golf, tennis/sports, etc.) for a fixed package for a day. There is a well stocked grocery at 100m from the Villa as well as a few restaurants (2 or 3) within walking distance. Ideal for a romantic holiday or for a family holiday, for a short or medium term rental, Villa Pampas can’t wait to welcome you.

Villas Pampas was amazing!!!

I would give 10 stars if I could because I had such a great time in Albion at Villas Pampas. First, the property did not disappoint. The images online were fabulous and when we got to the property it was equally fabulous. Very clean and decor well put together. Second, Paris and Marie Christine thought of everything, there are beach towels for the beach, chairs, an umbrella, all the things you need for you out about excursions, so that was very helpful. The villa is nicely located near club mer and has the dodo market around the corner. It was awesome!!

A perfect holiday home!

We had a really great time at "Villa Pampas". Paris had given us a very good description how to get there so that we didn't have any difficulties to find our holiday home. The house and garden are very lovely, everything in very good order and Dorene, the gardener and the pool boy took good care of it all so that it remained cosy all the time. There is a supermarket just around the corner and the local beach is also close and really nice. We especially enjoyed our stay at Marie-Christines restaurant and her very friendly advice. Pampas Villa 1 Albion Mauritius

We were met on arrival at the villa by the housekeeper Dorinne. Dorinne was very friendly and showed us all around the villa and explained the alarms and keys etc. The villa is extreamly well equipped with everything you could possibly need and more. There is a cool box and beach chairs and umbrellas provided for beach days along with beach towels. The bedding and towels are changed reguarly. The pool is kept beautifully with the poolman coming twice a week to clean it. Dorinne is in every morning apart from Sundays and is an absolute asset to thevilla. To sum up the villa exceeded all our expectations.

Amazing property

I can't say enough good things about this villa! It was amazing. Large, comfortable, beautifully decorated. Perfect for our family of six. The housekeeper is friendly and helpful, and comes each day to clean the house. The location is fantastic! It was a great spot from which to explore the sights of Mauritius. The local beach is a few minutes walk and very nice with our four young kids. The local restaurant is great, and even organized a boat tour for our family to swim with the dolphins. The home feels very safe and secure with the gate and alarm system. Paris was an excellent host. Met with us on the first day and showed us how everything works. Communication through out the booking process was outstanding. We would definitely stay here again. This was the best vacation ever!

Highly recommendable

First of all a very nice host with a great team. The hospitality of our house support lady was great and her cooking always delicious. The house is great for families with 2 to 4 children, the pool is sufficient for some cooling especially in the afternoons. Albion is not a tourist spot but actually quite well located to explore the island. Its beach is very standard, but the quietness at the house overweighted this by far. The local super market is convenient, a nice mall including a better equipped super market is about 20 minutes by car (Cascavelle). The house is very interesting by the way it is constructed, we loved it. BBQ facility is given, very good local chicken and Australian beef at Winners in Cascavelle. Overall we will miss it and hopefully have the chance to return.

Stylish villa

Villa Pampas is an architecturally stylish property with the wow factor. It is spacious and beautifully decorated with comfortable furniture and is very well equipped. The owner’s communication and support in making holiday arrangements could nit be bettered. Dorine, the housekeeper is a real asset. She cleans diligently every day, cooks amazing local food for a small fee and is available to support with advice on where to go. She is very discreet and will adjust her arrival time to suit you and work in other areas of the house if you are still having breakfast etc. The garden is full of tropical plants and trees and is nice and mature, giving privacy and a great holiday setting. The grounds and pool are both very well maintained. Albion is a residential area rather than a resort but it has a good public beach - not the best for swimming as although it is sandy, it is a little rocky going into the water, but it has magnificent sunsets and is a great place to join the locals at the weekend with a picnic. Albion is a great base from which to explore the rest of the island.

A Private Piece of Paradise

Villa Pampas was ideal for our multi-generational reunion (two of us from the UK, our daughter and grandson from Australia). Paris and Marie-Christine were very responsive hosts, especially when our flight from the UK was delayed by six hours and all the travel from the airport and checking-in plans had to be changed at short notice. The villa was very clean and comfortable, although air conditioning in the living area would have been more effective than the two fans provided given how hot it was in the evenings (air con in the bedrooms was a godsend!). The garden was lush, well-equipped with garden furniture and completely private. The pool was gorgeous and ideal for a toddler with gentle steps down into it (NB it is not fenced off). Dorine, our lovely housekeeper, did everything for us including cooking on request (for a small fee plus the cost of ingredients). Her local dishes were delicious and she was happy to make vegetarian versions for our daughter, as well as yummy samosas and spring rolls which our 17 month old loved! Paris also organised car hire for us, having the car delivered to the villa. Returning it to the airport on departure was easy and efficient. The villa itself is in a residential area with a well-stocked supermarket (Dodo) five minutes walk away. Albion Beach was also supposed to be about five minutes walk but, unfortunately, recent rains had damaged the bridge short cut to it so it was a ten-minute drive instead. It was not the best beach as there was quite of lot of broken coral which was painful on the feet, as was also the case at Flic-en-Flac - no big deal for adults but not so good for a toddler who loves running in and out of the sea, The beaches we liked best (La Cuvette and Pereybere in the Grand Baie area) were an hour's drive to the north. Lastly, be sure to lunch at Marie-Christine's restaurant Escale Creole in Moka for a warm welcome, wonderful food and a heavenly tropical garden.

Vielen Dank für die tolle Zeit

Wir hatten eine absolut traumhafte Zeit in der Villa! Das Haus ist wunderschön, liebevoll eingerichtet und liegt inmitten eines tropischen Gartens – eine wahre Oase. Der Pool war perfekt, das WLAN zuverlässig, und die tägliche Zimmerreinigung hat für ein rundum entspanntes Urlaubsgefühl gesorgt.Besonders hervorheben möchten wir Dorina – sie hat sich wirklich ganz wunderbar um uns gekümmert und dafür gesorgt, dass es uns an nichts fehlt.Der Strand ist nur wenige Schritte entfernt und sehr gut zu erreichen. Wir konnten Delfine beobachten, haben in der Nähe gebadet und einfach jeden Moment genossen. Es war eine unvergessliche Zeit – wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!

Sonne im März trotz Cyclonwarnung!

Das Haus ist sehr originell samt dem Hausmädchen. Einige Renovierungen wären angebracht, wie teilweise undichte Fenster, tropfende Dusche etc..Die Küche ist eher spartanisch eingerichtet und wir vermissten Schränke/Regale für Gläser und Lebensmittel.Das Haus ist bequem für 4 Personen. eine größere Anzahl bringt Einschränkungen mit sich.

Toller Urlaub!

Sehr großzügig und sauber. Das Haus ist sehr gut ausgestattet und hat alles, was man braucht. Der Besitzer ist sehr hilfsbereit und hat sich bei Fragen um alles sofort gekümmert. Unsere Haushilfe Dorin stand uns immer mit Rat und Tat zu Seite und ist die gute Seele des Hauses. Wir hatten eine sehr tolle Zeit dort.

Eine wunderschöne Villa in ruhiger Lage von Albion.

Die Villa ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Der Garten ist sehr schön angelegt und der Pool wurde täglich von uns genutzt. Ideal für bis zu drei Paaren. Der Strand von Albion ist leicht zu Fuß zu erreichen. Die Vermieter und das Personal waren sehr hilfreich. Wir würden die Villa jederzeit wieder mieten.

Great Villa

We stayed at Villa Pampas for about 3 weeks with 4 adults and 2 children. First of all: we missed nothing in that Villa. The kitchen is well equipped, bedrooms are big enough for one or two baby cribs (and for sure the adults), there are enough towels and the house maid keeps everything clean. She even cooks if you want for a reasonable price and it tastes superb (creol kitchen). The architecture is very interesting, it has a lot of open space and probably through the dome-like shape it was not hotter inside than outside. The bedrooms have aircondition though. Outside, the pool was big enough to relax and play with the children, as well as the garden itself. For handling the mosquitoes at the patio one of those insect candles is essential, the host has some good tips. When it comes to describing the host family. Let's say: great and lovely! Whenever I needed an advise or had a problem they answered very quickly and had always gave an ear to us. Also before our vacation started the communication was perfect! Near the villa is a supermarket, which provides most of the necessities. Next to the supermarket is a local restaurant which has great fish, we have been there a lot. in 2 minute car distance is an atm and several other small shops, but we just frequented the atm. The beach in Albion not the biggest on, I would call it "medium". But it is located next to a small forrest park which provides good shade for the hot sun. The beach is not crowded at all so you have your privacy there. Albion has an ideal possition to explore the island by car. You are fast in the South and west and in a good time in the north (depending at what time you drive, because the road to the north leads trough Port Louis). In summary we had a great vacation at the villa. It is well equipped and provides good privacy in the garden. The pool and garden are excellent to stay serveral days just at the Villa and not leaving it. The housekeeping is lovely and the dishes she cooks are delicious. I recommend it and would come here ever again!

A nice big house.. but some little things to know

We spent in April a week in this villa and the inside is really like on the picutures, spacious and clean. Dorine is there every morning to clean and she was very kind, also cooked for us once. The aircondition is as mentioned only in the bedrooms and since we didn't like to have it on during sleeping, it was fairly hot in the house all the time. The photos from the garden must be a bit older, because the plants have grown a lot and the garden is mostly in the shade. Therefore the pool water stays cool and our kids went in only once. Also we had to fight with plenty of mosiquitos, this might be the season. Albion is a little village, a car is definitely needed to find the beautyful beaches for example in FlicFlac (20') and the restaurants. Nevertheless I can recommend the villa, the owner is very friendly and helpful and we enjoyed the privacy.

Nous avons passé un séjour fantastique dans cette villa. La maison est extrêmement propre et parfaitement conforme à l'annonce et aux photos.Le vrai plus de cette location est sans aucun doute Dorine. À la fois concierge et femme de ménage, elle s'est occupée de nous avec une gentillesse et une efficacité remarquables tout au long du séjour.Le seul petit bémol est le manque de restaurants immédiatement accessibles à pied. Cependant, il y en a un juste à côté qui est excellent ! Nous y avons pris nos repas à emporter tous les soirs et nous nous sommes régalés. Nous recommandons cette villa sans hésiter !

Très Belle villa, bien équipée, bien située proche de la plage, très beau jardin avec piscine chauffée très agréable pour le retour de balades. Très bonne literie, 2 salles d’eau agréables, Clim dans les chambres très utile, le reste de la maison étant équipée de ventilateurs plafonnier même à l’extérieur, ce que nous avons trouvé suffisant pour la chaleur. M. Paris est très réactif en cas de souci, et prévenant. L’Entretien de la maison est fait par Dorine, une personne charmante avec qui on aime échanger, de bons conseils pour les visites, et qui nous a régalé avec ses bons petits plats mauriciens, jusqu’au dernier jour!Bref, nous avons vraiment apprécié notre séjour et n’hésiterons pas à y revenir lors d’un prochain voyage.Merci encore!

Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour, la maison est très confortable et la piscine magnifique. Dorine s est très bien occupée de nous, elle nous a fait découvrir les spécialités culinaires mauriciennes. Nous avons passé de belles vacances.

Merci pour votre accueil dans votre maison. La maison est superbe et très bien placé pour visiter toute l’île plus ou moins à 1 heure de tout. Albion est un endroit calme la plage à côté et le restaurant la murène à côté également. Il y a un petit mall à côté avec des petites restaurations avec spécialités locales pas cher du tout. La literie de bonne qualité. Dorine toujours dispo pour nous donner des conseils ou des contacts pour faire des visites, et dégustation de fruit du jardin. Petit bémol pour la piscine car malgré le pisciniste qui vient régulièrement avec le vent et la végétation environnante elle est vite sale et c’est dommage, mais c’est la faute de la nature. En tout cas on passer 15 jours génial à l’île Maurice merci encore pour tout. Ah oui communication super fluid et très rapide.

Très bon séjour au sein de la Villa Pampas. La location est d'un très bon confort avec de très belles prestations (literie, piscine, jardin, espaces communs). La communication avec l'hôte est très bonne. Un grand merci à Dorine pour ses bons plats préparés. Une très bonne adresse.
