Very beautiful intimate villa and well located, beautiful garden with swimming pool
'Villa Wolmar' is a magnificent villa with 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, fitted out by an interior designer and a landscaper, is sheltered by a pretty stone wall, in a chic area.

It is located 200m walk from Wolmar beach, 2 minutes from Flic-en-Flac, very close to La Pirogue, Sugar Beach, Hilton and Sofitel hotels.

It includes an American kitchen opening onto an indoor TV lounge, a large veranda including the outdoor lounge and the dining table, the large master bedroom with its en-suite bathroom, and 2 other bedrooms each with its en-suite bathroom. following.

Villa Wolmar has 3 double beds, one of which can be converted into 2 single beds, and 1 travel cot.

The beautiful 8m x 4m swimming pool is surrounded by parasols and 6 deckchairs, a table and chairs.

A housekeeper who is also an excellent cook will be present 4 hours a day from Monday to Saturday (except public holidays).
His services are included in the price of the villa.

We had a wonderful stay at villa Wolmar!!Everything was as or better than expected. The only thing worth mentioning is that there is no AC in the kitchen/living room. It worked out fine, but maybe it should be mentioned in the description of the house. The wonderful maid/cook was really super and is a big upside with the villa. We would gladly visit villa Wolmar again.

Our stay at Villa Wolmar (Mauritius) was enjoyable, comfortable, relaxing, and positive. Clivy the host made the experience an easy one, and Francesa took care of all 6 of us at the villa helping with the cleaning and cooking. The accommodations fulfilled all three couples’ needs to the max. Definitely would book again.The only upgrade (if it could be added), would be a heated swimming pool. Besides that, the location was central to the beaches, supermarkets , stores, and multitudes of restaurants. Go ahead and book it, you won’t regret it

Great Villa for Families or three couples

We had a great stay at Villa Wolmar. We were travelling with kids and all of us enjoyed the outstandingly beautiful garden, pool and nicely furnitured veranda and indoor rooms. Every bedroom has its own bathroom. It was very clean. Air condition and ventilator, washing mashine and dryer are in the Villa. The maid Francesca cleaned, washed and also cooked delicious meals for us (1 day prior notice). The Villa is located in walking distance to the beach in Flic en Flac and numerous restaurants and small shops. We had a rental car for daily tours all around the island.

Fantastic!

Lovely villa - as described. Francesca, the maid was delightful and couldn’t be more helpful - she did our washing and cooked a couple of meals as well as keeping the villa nice and clean. Clivy, the property manager was on hand at all times and answered any questions immediately as well as organising transport requirements. Would highly recommend this property and hope to be back soon.

GREAT property in fab location

Fantastic 3-bed property. Rooms are huge and comfortable. The pool and garden just perfect. Location (Wolmar) is at the end of Flic en Flac with local shops, fab street food and restaurants nearby. Marie Michele cooked us fantastic local cuisine as required. Great steak at Rib n Beef, fab street food at red shack closest to the house, and amazing roti at Farata AKA Vindoda (queues can be long but it moves quickly). Must eat at Creole Shack where lovely chef prepares a menu of the day - and you help yourself to drinks from the fridge. Thanks for a wonderful stay. It was perfect!

Fantastic luxury house

We spent 12 days in this very generous and luxury house. We were 2 families including two children. The villa is very well equipped and perfect for two families because of bed rooms in the left wing of the house and bedrooms in the right wing of the house. The three bathrooms were very spacious and the kitchen very well equipped. The maid was very discret and worked extremely efficient with washing and cleaning. We loved her cooking and therefore enjoyed her meals in the evening instead of going out for a restaurant. The resident manager also helped us a lot for organizing some things and provided important information for us. Generally very clean house, pretty garden and very fine pool. Our kids loved the pool! We would love to come back soon. We have been traveling a lot the last years but never had such a nice villa, surroundings, helping maid and fantastic meals. Top location, marvellous holiday.

We loved Flic en Flaq. The Villa is in a great location. Marie Michelle the maid and Clivy the manager, were both super helpful. We have only given it three stars, as it's badly in need of refurbishment. The Villa is looking tired and far from modern. £100k investment needed to bring up to international standard. Lots not working properly; sliding doors, lights, water leaks, electric roller blinds in main living area not working. Marie Michelle got them working, then following day stopped again. Electrics not great, there's no electrical regulation in Mauritius. Gekos everywhere, which are fine, they just made us jump! One baby scorpion in the bedroom was a bit unnerving. Kitchen has just the necessary equipment. For a Villa of this size, it needs many more accessories. The kitchen could do with a washing up bowl, a wooden spoon, new pans and an apron, for example. Beautiful, well maintained swimming pool. The patio and pool surround could benefit from being tiled. The concrete flooring is gritty. Overall, it is a lovely place to stay.

Thanks for your feedback. We have taken note of your positive appreciations of the Villa : 'a lovely place to stay', 'great location', 'beautiful and well maintained swimming pool', good service. As for the other comments, and for the public appreciation, the villa has been vastly renovated just before the client's arrival. The 3 bedrooms, bathrooms and the veranda have been completely renovated. All 4 cupboards, 3 bathroom vanity, all curtains and bars are brand new. The paintings in all 3 bedrooms and veranda are also new. Decoration on the walls are new. To ease the washing of the dishes, there is a sink and a dish washer in the kitchen. Cooking equipment seemed appropriate and was nether flagged as an issue. Finally, as for the roller shutters, the maid MM has no competence to repair them (the first time), it appears that the issue that has been encountered is linked to a wrong manipulation instead of the default in the device which works perfectly. I'm surprised by the reviews on these matters but we will keep them in mind. We understand that coming from a luxury 5 stars hotel, which price is definitely higher than our affordable villa, your expectations could have been disappointed, and we are sorry for that, but we are not in the same category of offerings. However, please rest assured that we try our very best to assure an excellent performance to all our clients. JF and resident manager

Un séjour de rêve à la Villa WolmarNotre semaine à la Villa Wolmar a été tout simplement parfaite ! La maison est magnifique – spacieuse, très bien entretenue et aménagée avec beaucoup de goût. La situation en bord de mer est exceptionnelle, avec des couchers de soleil à couper le souffle et une plage paisible juste devant la villa.Un des grands points forts a été la gouvernante Francesca : toujours souriante, serviable et en plus une excellente cuisinière – nous nous sommes régalés !Tout était aussi parfaitement organisé – de la réservation jusqu’à l’accueil sur place, tout s’est déroulé sans accroc. Wir sind von der Villa Wolmar total begeistert. Sie ist ein idealer Ausgangspunkt, um Mauritius zu erkunden. Supermärkte, Restaurants und der Strand sind gut erreichbar. Ein Auto ist jedoch empfehlenswert. Die Villa verfügt über eine sehr gute Ausstattung und hatte alles, was wir für unseren Urlaub brauchten. Besonders erwähnenswert ist jedoch das gute Management der Villa: Wenn wir etwas benötigt haben, hat sich Clivy sofort darum gekümmert. Unser „Highlight“ war jedoch Francesca, die Hausdame und Köchin, die sich um die Sauberkeit und um das gute Essen gekümmert hat. Vielen Dank, dass Sie unseren Urlaub zu einem unvergesslichen Erlebnis für uns gemacht haben. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Kleine Oase nah am Ozean auf Trauminsel

Wunderschön! Eine traumhafte Oase, nah zum Ozean, wundervoll eingerichtet und architektonisch gelungen. Die Insel selbst ist ein Traum, aber das ist ja klar. Unsere Maid Michelle ist ein Schatz, hat uns köstlich kreolisch bekocht. Kokospalmen neben dem Pool, Flughunde und einheimische Vögel in den Bäumen nebenan, Sonne, karibisches Flair - was will man mehr. Das Haus ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen, profitiert aber von seiner guten Substanz. Klare Empfehlung.

Wunderschöne Tage auf Mauritius

Villa très agréable avec tout le confort et la piscine dans un jardin verdoyant, c'est top.Nous avons fait appelle à Franscesca pour nous préparer de bons plats locaux, c'était parfait !

Verbesserungswürdig: Lage
Very clean and property with excellent facilities. Loved the villa. Flick en Flac was not as good as hoped. Focus is on resorts with limited nice bars and restaurants outside of these. However good for a relaxing break.
