Great location!

My partner and I stayed for a month at Edith’s place and it was great! Right in the city and so close to everything. It had everything we needed and was super convenient! Thanks for the stay :)

Perfect location and comforts of home

I stayed 12 days in Lyon and had a wonderful visit. The location is superb - close to virtually anything you wanted to see. Bed was comfortable and even though I didn’t cook, the kitchen had lots of spices and oils for cooking. Upon arrival Fifa even helped me get my bike box up the stairs - thank you!! Would recommend to anyone.

Great studio for an extended stay

I stayed here for 7 weeks while in Lyon for work and everything was great. The space was clean, comfortable, and very well-equipped, especially for cooking meals. The bedding was nice and I slept well. The apartment was quiet aside from occasional sirens outside (unavoidable in a city). I loved opening the windows and looking out to see the river to the right and the opera to the left. The host was kind and helpful, and the location was fantastic. Highly recommend!

Just right!

I was in Lyon for a month by myself on a research trip and Edith’s place was just perfect for what I needed. It’s very centrally located with many shops and restaurants around, walking distance to almost all attractions in Lyon, and I was able to cook three meals a day in the small (but mighty) kitchen. There’s a metro station very close by and the city’s bike share service has a huge fleet of bikes right outside the door to the apartment with easy access to Lyon’s many riverside bike trails. The neighbourhood is lively but the street is relatively quiet and I had no problems at all with neighbours. Couldn’t recommend this place enough!

Perfect stay in Lyon

We stayed in Lyon for about 4 weeks and absolutely loved our time here. The apartment is centrally located near City Hall and everything you need on a daily basis. It is also super close (<2 mins) to train/bus stations that will let you connect to the big train stations like Part Dieu if you want to take weekend trips outside of Lyon. You can see the Rhone from the window of the apartment (if you poke your head out a bit) and is in a great neighborhood. The apartment was so well stocked and had literally everything we could think of. Edith is a great host, and was super responsive to all of our needs and questions. Lyon is a beautiful city and honestly you couldn't ask for anything more in an apartment if you were to visit Lyon. Highly recommend staying here.

We did not visit any wineries. The manager did not meet us and we could not get in. Finally our uber driver was able to speak with the manager who told us the key was under the mat. The studio was a bit shabby but clean. There were no or little paper products. The toilet paper supply was low and there were no Kleenex. We bought paper towels and Kleenex. We bought a frozen pizza on a night we chose not to eat out and discovered the toaster oven did not work. The property is on the fifth floor and the elevator looked a bit sketchy so we climbed the 125 steps each time we went in or out.

Hello John. I'm so sorry your arrival was a bit ruff but as you arrived late, Fifa had to take care of another guest. She arrived 15 minutes after you to show you around. They were 7 rolls of toilet paper, which we thought was enough for 4 days. As for Kleenex and paper towels, it was a stock in the white cupboard. The oven is working well but you have to be careful to use the right electricity plug as sometimes, the plug of the microwave is in. You just need to switch it. As for the lift, so sorry about that but yes, sometimes, the lift stop at floor 4 but it is totally safe. Again, so sorry about all this and i hope you still enjoyed the city. All my best regards. Lovely location in Lyon!

This was such a great spot for our recent trip to Lyon... It's walking distance to the old part of the city and Croix Rousse, and the metro couldn't be more perfectly located! We easily zipped around the city using the metro and scooters and had the best time! The apartment itself was pretty roomy for me and my teenage son... We didn't use the kitchen to cook but it was larger than kitchens in most flats. The bed was comfy and the lift (elevator) was helpful. Super convenient to have a washer for clothes! We arrived during France's historic heat wave so it was hot but luckily the apartment had a fan. I loved the nearby restaurants that stayed open pretty late - what a wonderful little city, we enjoyed Lyon even more than Paris and this spot was just right and adorable. Would definitely recommend!

Prefect location to be based to explore the city.

Would highly recommend staying here when visiting Lyon. Centrally located and easy to walk or use transit to all the sights. The apartment was very clean and well equipped. Edith Williams and Madam Poli were great to deal with.

Joli studio bien équipé très propre. Accueil très sympathique de Saïd et avant de sa collègue. Mais malheureusement situé dans une rue trop bruyante avec un bar à chicha juste au dessous des fenêtres. Pas du tout adapté pour un séjour longue durée et pour des gens qui travaillent.

nuisances nocturnes

Cet appartement bien situé nous a tout de suite séduit. Malheureusement il y avait beaucoup de nuisances, musique venant du bar à chicha au rdc sans compter celles des clients qui discutaient devant l'immeuble. On était certes au 5ème étage mais nous entendions quand même tous ces bruits en pleine nuit... donc certainement un problème d'insonorisation. Dommage car l'appart était très bien agencé, la personne qui nous a remis les clés, très agréable.

Ms Poli wonderful hostess, apartment ideally located

The apartment is located in an excellent part of the city with easy access to most of the main spots. It is nicely furnished, quality linens and towels, and has everything you need - toaster, coffee maker, teapot, plenty of dishes, silverware etc. Even though you are right by the Opera and close to everything it is pretty quiet. Madam Poli was there to greet me, on arrival, right as my cab drove up. She went through everything in the apartment and provided tips on the city. She also was there right on time on departure and helped me downstairs with my bags! She responds quickly to communication and goes above and beyond her duties to make sure you have a nice stay! I was there during the Festival of Lights and can say this location made it easy for me to visit many of the light exhibits by walking easily to from the apartment.

Excellent location and comfortable apartment

The apartment was clean, tastefully furnished and provided everything one needs as a base for exploring the city. Madam Poli was there to greet me and she was extremely helpful with clarifying the workings of the apartment as well as providing useful information about exploring the city. It is also located in an excellent part of the city with easy access to the sights of the city and the metro/bus system.
