Amazing!

We had the most beautiful stay end of July for 10 days. The owners were very welcoming, we enjoyed the breathtaking view from every room of the house. The direct access to the lake was another plus for the house. Yes, the traffic can get a bit noisy but that didnÂŽt bother us too much. Closed to Varenna and local supermarkets.

Eine sehr schöne Wohnung an einem sehr schönen Ort

Meine (große) Kinder und ich haben eine sehr schöne und entspannte Woche in dieser Wohnung verbracht. Der direkten Zugang zum See ist einfach perfekt fĂŒrs spontanes Schwimmengehen. Die Wohnung ist schön und entspricht die Bilder. Die Gastgeber sind sehr nett und obwohl sie ĂŒber der Wohnung leben, sehr diskret. Daniela hat uns mit Tiramisu und GebĂ€ck verwöhnt. Sehr nett. Der einzige negativer Punkt ist die teilweise sehr stark befahrene Strasse direkt am Haus. Dies fĂŒhrt sehr viel LĂ€rm.

Fantastic panorama over lake Como

The appartment is located fantastically with wonderful view on the lake and mountains. Marco and his familiy were very friendly and helpful if anything was needed. The only downside is the close railway tracks and lakeside road, which sometimes was disturbing (motorcycles). Nevertheless, it was wonderful and we can recommend this beautyful place!

Charming stay

We had a great time in Marco’s apartment and the great family-like feeling upon arrival. Marco was a great Host, considerate and friendly. Not only were we welcomed with snacks and drinks, but also almost every other day he and his family gave us sweet surprises!! Our expectations were over made and we were grateful to stay in this adorable apartment. The private beach belonging to the property gave us relaxation and the location is really wonderful. Great experience and worth visiting again and again! Thank you and Grazie!

Wonderful house with private beach access

We had a wonderful time at Marco's place. Marco and his wife welcomed us personally upon arrival and explained everything. The house is just beautiful with more than enough space for 5 people, nicely decorated and very clean. We enjoyed BBQ sessions on the terrace and the amazing view over the lake. The view is absolutely breathtaking, and you have it from the kitchen, from the living room, dining area and the terrace. The house has its own private access to the lake, which is indeed pure luxury. We definitely would recommend Marco's place further. Thank you Marco and family for such an incredible week at Lago di Como.

GlĂŒckstreffer fĂŒr einen tollen Urlaub

Wir sind begeistert! Die Lage ist unschlagbar, und die Vermieter total nett und gastfreundlich. Die Wohnung ist zwar mit Àlteren Möbeln ausgestattet, aber alles sauber und funktional. Der Aussenbereich ist liebevoll gepflegt, somit kann man richtig die Seele baumeln lassen. Eins der Schlafzimmer geht zur Strassenseite, hier sollten nur Leute mit tiefem Schlaf nÀchtigen. Fazit: Wir kommen wieder!

Urlaub mit Hund

Das Objekt liegt direkt an der Hauptstrasse. Dee See ist durch eine UnterfĂŒhrung gut zu Fuss in 2 Minuten zu erreichen allerdings werden Badeschuhe empfohlen. Der Garten ist sehr gepflegt und schön angelegt. Das Haus an sich ist modern eingerichtet und bietet genĂŒgend Platz fĂŒr mehrere Personen. Gut war auch eine eigene abgeschlossene Garage. Leider ist es mit Hund nicht so gut, da es in der nĂ€heren Umgebung wenig zu laufen gibt (ausser man lĂ€uft gern auf der Strasse mit seiner Fellnase). Aber im grossen und ganzen war es eine schöne Unterkunft bzw ein schöner Urlaub mit sehr sehr netten und zuvorkommenden Vermietern.
Diese Bewertung wurde vor 2018 eingereicht und wurde nicht geprĂŒft.

Tolle Wohnung an lebhafter Straße

Host and accommodations were amazing!! The views and location was perfect and we feel better than any hotel in the area. We truly had a great time at this property and enjoyed the views without having to drive to another location on the lake. It was clean, updated, and a special place.

What an amazing property! Spotless and comfy with the most amazing view. It’s the first time for me that a property actually matched the pictures in the listing. You definitely need a car to get into Varenna as walking in the road is not a good idea. Varenna is such a lovely town with some great food. Parking at the property was easy and there is a pay garage right when you enter into the town of Varenna which we used each day. I will recommend this property to all of my friends and family. I would definitely come back and stay here again if we are in the area.

Fabulous stay at an incredible home! Marco and Daniela have a beautiful home that they take great care in maintaining. The home has gorgeous views of the lake. The sunroom and garden are perfect for relaxing after a day of sightseeing and the house is decorated beautifully with super comfortable beds. Varenna is only a short 5 minute drive away. Highly recommend, you will love it!!

The apartment was beyond our expectations & although it rained heavily for a couple of days, this was the place to stay inside, due to the changeable views. Very serene & tranquil with a magnificent panorama of Bellagio & Menaggio. Loved it immensely, including the gift basket. Marco’s son, Giacomo was very helpful.

This is a wonderful apartment, the perfect base for exploring Lake Como, within 10 minutes of Varenna and the regular ferry services. The two bedrooms are spacious with separate bathrooms, and the living spaces are very generous. The entire apartment is clean, well furnished and has everything you’ll need. Parking is off-road and secure in a garage. Marco is a wonderful host, good communication and very generous.The biggest memory is the view, massive panoramic windows give you a perfect view of the lake which is just breathtaking. Cannot recommend this apartment enough.

As pictured! Nice, quiet location (beside street noise from cars and bikes zooming past). Car is a must for getting around and getting supplies like food, laundry detergent and dishwashing tabs- if you want to use those amenities. A single starter pod is provided for each. The locking and secure car garage was under the apartment on the street level which was great. The hosts greeted us to show us around and was very kind to offer area restaurant locations and recommendations as well as the best grocery store for supplies with good parking.

Marco and Daniela have the most breathtaking lake view rental! Our family of four stayed for 4 nights, and we were in awe of the beautiful views of Lake Como. Perfectly situated outside of Varenna, it was quiet and peaceful while still being easily able to get around the lake for activities. The hosts met us for check-in with a bottle of prosecco and some light snacks, and gave some recommendations on where to eat, as well as where the closest supermarket was. Since the view from the garden and dining room were so incredible, we ate dinner there most nights. There was enough room for our family of four to spread out, and the air conditioning was a definite bonus as there was a heat wave while we were there. My husband and I enjoyed wine in the garden overlooking the lake every night. I can’t say enough about how wonderful this rental was, I would give it 10 stars if I could. My husband and I are already trying to plan a time we could make it there again. Thank you Marco and Daniela, truly one of the best VRBO stays we have ever had!

Our family of five enjoyed our short time in this beautiful rental. The location is great, the views are fantastic, and the apartment amenities are wonderful. The hosts were very responsive and helpful, and have obviously put a lot of thought and work into the place. We highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a place to stay on Lake Como.

The apartment is just as described and pictured. The views of the lake are beautiful, especially at sunset. The unit was clean and well maintained. The beds are very comfortable. We had 4 adults and one 8 yr old. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes and cookware. Marco was a great host and offered recommendations for eating and sightseeing. We could not have been more satisfied with the unit. We would recommend without hesitation.

Absolutely Incredible

My wife, myself, and our two kids stayed here (2.5yrs old and the other 11mo.). We absolutely enjoyed our time here! It is perfect for families because of the yard, plenty of space, and safe and easy access to swimming. Marco and his family were incredibly kind and friendly throughout the whole process. They even helped us arrange a babysitter so my wife and I could have a date night. Being able to find and stay in a places like this is why I love VRBO and similar sites. The only drawback of this house is that it’s a 30-40min walk from Varenna (a walk on an Italian street where much of it does not have sidewalks). We had a car and were able to find parking in Varenna’s parking garage on the south side of town (even in the busy time of July, but we made sure to arrive early before 9am). Overall I highly recommend this place.

Lake Como Getaway – Unforgettable Experience!

We honestly can’t say enough good things about the experience. From the moment we arrived our host Marco and his wife were exceptionally welcoming. The property offered breathtaking views of Lake Como from almost every room. It was beautifully furnished, spotlessly clean, and felt like a true home away from home. The outdoor garden / balcony provided a space for relaxation and enjoying the serene surroundings. All communication was prompt and helpful throughout our stay and the parking for our car was perfect.Overall, this was the best experience during our trip to Italy. We would highly recommended this apartment for anyone looking for a magical and unforgettable stay in Lake Como!"
