This cozy little home has an amazing view! Perfect for hanging out and enjoying the perfect gulf breeze and watching the waves come in on the beach. The area under the house has a fish cleaning station and an outdoor shower to wash the day off before enjoying the home. Once inside, you have an open concept home with room to relax and still be part of the group even when making a meal! This two bedroom, two bath home is perfect for single families and small groups. With it being between two beach access points, it makes for a quick trip to the beach!

Please note, Hurricane Ike forever changed the footprint of Bolivar Peninsula, therefore some homes listed as beachfront may have a lot and/or street in front of it. This is the result of the uncertainty following the storm where some property owners elected to participate in the government buy out of lots that fell in what later would be considered within the vegetation line established by the State of Texas and subsequently included as part of the public beach. Not all property owners participated. Those homes where the property in front of it are part of the buyout are considered beachfront even though to the east or west of it there may be a home closer to the beach.

We liked the open view from the deck to the view!! And we could easily walk to the beach from our place. We didn’t know that it was a drive on beach, so the weekend was pretty busy but it was pretty cool after that!

Perfect for Us

The property was exactly as listed, we actually felt it was better than the pictures in the listing. It rained, the entire week which was not what we had expected. However, there were some games to play and there is a Roku in each bedroom as well as the living room. We cooked meals at the house all but 1 night. Everything we needed to cook with was supplied. There was only salt and pepper so you will need your own spices/seasonings. There wasn’t much Tupperware, but like spices we didn’t expect that so we bought some. Major Pros: the view!! Even through an entire week of rain it was the perfect view. Hot water heater was amazing! We could use both showers and have enough hot water and pressure. All 5 of us took showers without having to wait for the water heater to heat up between each one. There were extra fans provided and the patio furniture was nice. Cons: the master bed wasn’t that great. However, it was better than the Holiday Inn bed we stayed at on our way to the beach house, so really not a con. We hope to come back next year…with at least one day on the beach!

Left the house slightly cleaner than we found it. But no complaints! Just a short walk to the beach and a great view from the house. It rained a few days so we were happy to have nice TVs in every room with plenty of streaming services. We loved every minute of our vacation and would definitely rent here again!

It is a very clean, well maintained home with a stocked kitchen for cooking and windows all across the front that lets in the sunshine and that ocean view. The process to pick up and drop off the keys with Cobb Realty was very easy and the customer service from Cobb Realty was friendly and helpful. We will not hesitate to stay again at Sea Song!

Would recommend keypad for entry to front door so that keys don't have to be taken down to beach and exchanged back and forth between people. Very nice home in great location!
