Beautiful villa, perfect for a week stay.

I have just returned from a week's stay at this beautiful property and cannot recommend it enough. In my party there were 8 adults (4 couples) and one toddler and it was perfect property for our holiday. The property itself is over three floors allowing each couple to have their own space and the villa benefits from two kitchens, three bathrooms, two indoor living areas as well as generous outdoor space on all levels. The views over Almuñécar were spectacular and it was around 15 minute walk down the hill to the beach and a 25 minute walk to the main centre, or a cheap €6 taxi ride whichever you prefer! The property also benefits from a car parking space outside, if you do want to go further afield then I would recommend hiring a car however we had a lovely relaxing holiday without the use of the car and there is plenty to see and do in Almuñécar itself. I cannot fault Miguel’s hospitality, he was very quick to respond to any questions and issues we had and dealt with our requests instantly. I would highly recommend this property and would definitely go back in the future! Thanks so much, Kim

Beautiful large villa with fantastic views.

We stayed in this villa in August, 2019. Overall the villa was lovely and we had a nice holiday. There is more than enough room for 8 people to sleep comfortably. There are 2 kitchens which are on separate floors. This is a little strange, but could be useful if needed. There are pots and pans on both levels, but crockery seemed to be on the bottom level while glassware was on the ground entry level. The villa itself was incredibly clean. Unfortunately, there was an underlying odour of mildew on the boom level. I think that could be easily rectified. I would recommend if you are booking, you will need to bring every single thing necessary for self-catering. Luckily, there are a couple of good sized supermarkets in town for these necessities. Overall, we very much enjoyed our stay and I would recommend this villa.

Thank you very much for your comments, I have taken good note of your suggestions to correct them The house is designed with two kitchens for the best comfort, especially the very hot months to be in the pool and garden level and the winter months in the upper level for better comfort and thus have double in all the senses in fridge, dishwasher, kitchens, ovens and pantry and if there are many people they have a very sufficient capacity for your vacation I hope that in the future you can come again to enjoy

Unsere Zeit in Almuñéca 😊

Wir hatten sehr schöne Tage, nur mit dem Wetter nicht so ein Glück. Aber 5,5 Tage von 10 waren schön. Der Weg zum Strand, zu Fuß, war völlig ok. Ca 10.min runter und 15-20 wieder rauf 😉 Das wlan funktionierte nicht. Leider wurde auf meine WhatsApp Nachricht noch reagiert. Wir hatten aber alle genug Datenvolumen, Gott sei Dank 😅 Am Freitag waren wir hinter Castello Christos auf der Beachpromenade. Später war viel los 🎉 Die Restaurants haben meistens ab 16:00 Ihr die Küche geschlossen, am Strand machen Sie aber gegen Abend 18:30 / 19:30 wieder auf. Wegen dem Steinstrand sollte man Badeschuhe dabei haben, ist angenehmer an den Füßen.

Herbsturlaub

Das Haus liegt am Hang mit einer sehr schönen Aussicht auf das Meer und Almunecar. Die Schlafzimmer verteilen sich über drei Etagen, es gibt auf jeder Etage Badezimmer und WC. Außerdem gibt es zwei komplett eingerichtete Küchen und auf jeder Etage eine Terasse. Wir haben den Urlaub sehr genossen.

La casa es perfecta. Mejor aún que en las fotos. Es muy grande. Tiene muchos detalles y está todo muy limpio. Las vistas son espectaculares. La ubicación excelente. La piscina increíble. El propietario es muy amable y está pendiente de todo. Volveremos seguro. Nos ha encantado la zona.

Booking was very straightforward, we knew that Miguel was available if we had any problems which we didn’t . That villa was clean, well equipped and in a lovely location with wonderful views, walk down to the village is steep but still very enjoyable. There were seven adults in our group we and plenty of space , wonderful weather and a great time was had by all. Would have no problem recommending this villa.

Amazing Views

Lovely property, outside area and pool great. Quiet surroundings. Although a short walk down to the centre of town, wouldn't recommend walking back up in the mid-day sun unless you are really fit (we had a car and used a taxi a couple of times ~9Euro). Property has all the essentials and a bit more.

Fabulous spacious villa

We loved staying here! The villa is beautifully presentated with high quality furnishings. Lovely comfy beds, a very generous amount of space and wonderful views from the terrace and baconies. Two kitchens and three bathrooms meant six of us could spread out and feel relaxed. We appreciated the little touches such as table cloths and ample crockery and cutlery. The pool and garden are well maintained and very attractive. The villa location is an easy drive or athletic walk to town! Almuñécar is a bustling Spanish resort, lively and authentic. Lots of beaches to visit and an abundance of cafes and restaurants. We’ve had a super holiday.

Magnifique semaine

Nous étions 5 adultes et 2 enfants. La maison et la vue sont superbes ! Nous nous sommes tout de suite sentis à l'aise dans cette villa à 3 niveaux . La voiture est nécessaire car si tout est proche à vol d'oiseau , ça grimpe beaucoup ! Les enfants ont passé 6h par jour dans la piscine ...Almunecar est une belle petite ville animée Nous n'avons pas vu le propriétaire mais nous avions un numéro en cas de problème Il y avait tout y compris les draps de bain pour la piscine . Les lits sont confortables et il y a le choix entre 3 terrasses pour l'apéro AVEC VUE !!! Petit dejeuner au soleil, ombre à partir de 16h sur la piscine ,tout pour passer de bonnes vacances ! !!

Stunning villa. Great holiday!

We came from the UK, USA, Canada and South Africa to celebrate a special birthday. 8 lady friends looking for a relaxing time and lots of catching up. The villa is in a stunning situation. Really well equipped and well served with beds for 8 and 3 bathrooms. We had lots of room, appreciated the top class fittings and loved the pool. We walked into town every day, caught the bus to Granada, wandered the old streets, shopped and explored the castle. A taxi back cost around 8 Euros and was worth it when carrying shopping. Some of the sea food restaurants on the beach were worth setting time for a leisurely late lunch and most of the local cafes do a great Menu of the Day - good value. The villa, pool and gardens are lovely and well maintained with everything you need. Would recommend it highly.

Fantastic well functioning house and view over the beach and Almuñécar 100 meters above the sea

Four large bedrooms with lots of closet space (wtith plenty of hangers ..) We had our daughter with husband living at the top in “the princess room” with private bathroom and balcony. The middle section with hall, own kitchen bedroom and bathroom as well as large living and dining area as well as large balcony worked perfectly with tastefully personal furnishings. At the bottom of the house 2 large well equipped bedrooms, large bathroom and very large kitchen and family room with direct access to the swimming pool and garden as well as the always stunning views. Each bathroom has bathtub. All in all, microwaves, 2 televisions, fast wi-fi, super automatik airconditioning hidden system with . plaids, seating, everything you can imagine. Even outdoors, the tiles has floor heating for a single cold evening with bare feet. In a scala from 1 to 10 this house get 12👍. Valmue for money and my best recommendations. Yes, DO NOT hesitate booking your next stay in Mirador de Proa, and No, I an not related to the owner.., but just want to tell newcomers about this marvelous house. We had forteen fantastic warm and sunny days in Mirador de Proa from 22.10. to 6.11. 2017. Bookseller Per Flensborg and family , Roskilde and Copenhagen - Denmark.
