Our stay was outstanding! The flat was spacious, the air conditioning worked perfectly, and the windows offered a lovely view of the sea. But the highlight of the property was definitely the rooftop deck. We spent every morning watching the sunrise and every evening enjoying the sunset with a glass of wine. It truly made the experience unforgettable. Highly recommend!

Awesome stay

The apartment was awesome and in a great location. The rooftop patio gave a spectacular view of the sea and city. It was a great place to go to relax in the afternoon when it was hot. Our host Giusy was outstanding and provided us with key locations like grocery stores and bakeries, assisted with transportation and answered any communication promptly. Highly recommend and will consider returning for a second vacation.

Perfect location in Monopoli

Lots of room for four (or more) people. Beautiful rooftop terrace overlooking the beach. The air conditiining kept the appartment comfortable and our host arranged parking in a nearby garage. The listing is just inside the ZTL with car access at different times of the day.

Delightful

Location is ideal, apartment is roomy for 2. We took a swim every morning as the sea was just steps away and took in the view from our patio each night. Monopoli is charming and everything is close to the apartment. Giusy is very responsive and exceptionally helpful.

The best find ever!

I cannot say enough for this wonderful apartment. It is clean, modern, beautiful and provides a huge balcony with a spectacular view. The location is perfect in relation to the beach and the town. Having paid parking available was super helpful because it's very hard to park in or near the old city. This town of Monopoli exceeded our expectations for its beauty, friendliness, services and especially the spectacular sea everywhere. The swimming is beautiful in clean calm water right next to the apartment. We loved our time in this apartment. Giusie, our host, was so kind and helpful. The check in and check out were very easy and seamless. I highly recommend this apartment to anyone who wants to visit the gorgeous area of Italy.

Wonderful place & location...but

We had a lovely time in this apartment, BUT it says it has 3 bedrooms. It has 1 bedroom with a queen bed and single loft above. The second room shown in the entry way, which has a single bed. The 3rd bed is a pull out sofa in the kitchen. Only the actual bedroom has access to the bathroom, or one must go thru the kitchen. For our family of 5 adults, with people on very different schedules to come and go, this proved challenging. The terrace pictures are not a private balcony from the apartment, but are shared and on the roof of the apartment. Overall, we loved the town of Monopoli, and the apartment would be great if fewer people, less privacy desired, or if advertised accurately.

Ringrazio per la recenzione rilasciata ma devo sottolineare che nella descrizione di questo appartamento non si parla di 3 camere da letto ma di numeri di letto di cui dispone . Questo alloggio è consigliato per 4 persone . In casi eccezionali 4 persone più 2 bambini. Cinque adulti, in effetti, sono tanti. Inoltre nella descrizione è specificato che , il grande terrazzo a picco sul mare si trova al piano superiore, non è esclusivo , ed è in condivisione solo con l'altro appartamento del primo piano. Anche per quanto riguarda il bagno , è specificato che è 1 ed è accessibile sia dalla camera da letto che dal soggiorno. Tutto questo è chiaro se si legge con attenzione quanto è scritto . ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Thank you for the release given but I must point out that in the description of this apartment we speak not of 3 bedrooms but of the number of beds available. This accommodation is recommended for 4 people. In exceptional cases 4 people plus 2 children. Five adults, in fact, are so many. Also in the description it is specified that the large terrace overlooking the sea is upstairs, is not exclusive, and is shared only with the other first floor apartment. Even with regard to the bathroom, it is specified that it is 1 and is accessible from both the bedroom and the living room. All this is clear if you read carefully what is written.

Localisation idéale, à 1 minute de la plage , terrasse avec vue incroyable et bien équipée: cuisine, toilette, douche, wow! L'appartement offre une belle grande cuisine mais prévoyez les éléments de base (sel + poivre + huile + briquet pour utiliser la cuisinière au gaz) L'annonce présente l'endroit avec 2 chambres mais en fait, la 2e chambre n'est pas privée; c'est un lit simple dans le hall d'entrée. Au final, vous allez adorer l'endroit, la vue, la mer et la voisine d'en bas, l'adorable Angela!

Monopoli is truly a magical place!

What a fantastic location inside the old walled city! We loved everything about this VRBO, location was excellent and in walking distance of everything we needed, the locals were warm and welcoming, and we couldn't have asked for a better home base for our vacation in Monopoli and the surrounding areas. The apparement was clean and perfectly furnished. AC was fantastic as was the roof top terrace! Giusy was so easy to work with and very accommodating of our travel plans. I highly recommend that if you are thinking of visiting Puglia, that you consider this as your home base. Also, make sure you get to know they neighbors and the local fruit vendor, we loved them!

A great place to stay in Monopoli

Having never been to Puglia, let alone Monopoli, we didn’t know what to expect. First, it’s the perfect location to be in Monopoli, just inside the entrance to the old city and a good base to explore Puglia; Alberobello, Ostuni, Polignano A Mare all not far. The vista from this apartment is ok, you can see the Adriatic over the wall, people walking into Centro storico, there is a magnificent roof top terrace with all the best views and was exclusive to us during our 5 night stay late Sept early Oct. Monopoli has a good sized Centro Storico and from here you can walk anywhere in 10 minutes or less, or get completely lost in the charming narrow streets. Monopoli is not as touristy as other towns so at night the streets and restaurants fill with both tourists and locals since all the best restaurants are in centro storico.The apartment is perfect for a couple, a family, or close friends who don’t mind sharing a bathroom. There is one private bedroom that also has a loft with a single bed, a pull out couch in a spacious kitchen area and a single bed in the room where you enter the apartment, so if you are with a group keep that in mind. The bathroom is very nice with a good shower and a washing mashine. There is another bathroom plus kitchenette on the roof terrace! The view from the kitchen has a small balcony where you can just see the Adriatic, the bedroom window is to the alley. We had most of the shutters open to let the light in and weather was beautiful. You can hear the chatter along the pedestrian street below, for us a positive, closing the glass doors makes things quiet. The entryway stairs To the apt is a bit dark and narrow, but once inside everything opens up and high ceilings. There are several flights of stairs from the apt to the roof terrace, while a bit inconvenient the top terrace is huge with a vast panoramic view, kitchenette, lounge chairs, tablrs, bathroom, basically everything to enjoy during nice weather days. The optional garage (subterranean and unlit) is an extra 10 euro a day which we paid in cash on arrival including a 150 euro deposit for damage (was returned). There is street parking. Monopoli is filled with restaurants, cathedrals, boat ports etc. This appartment is a great place to be based and explore the region.

Old-city apartment with surprise

Having been in Monopoli for a long time, I can rightfully say this apartment is a gem and one-of-a-kind and here is why. Not only does it have anything you might expect from a modern house, such as wireless connection and perfectly working furniture and appliances, but it also conserves many architectural and environmental elements typical of the old city. This will make your Monopoli stay truly authentic. The owner's son is very friendly and speaks a good English, so he can help you plan your visit and answer any question you might have. Also, the apartment is located in a perfect spot: while it belongs the old city, brimming with corner stores, authentic restaurants and nightlife, it is also a few steps away from the iconic Portavecchia and the new city, thus greatly facilitating your commute. Finally, this apartment has a very convenient and large balcony which is great for enjoying the sun and hanging out, but the real surprise is upstairs... The view from the terrace is simply breathtaking, embracing an unbelievable 360 degree-view stretching over miles of everchanging nature. The sights span from the gentle beaches in Savelletri to the enchanting old city bristling with ancient bell towers, from the hills of Selva di Fasano to Monopoli's cannon-bearing historical walls, and from the Portavecchia beach to the endless horizon on the sea. Overall, if you are willing to reach it through the narrow staircase - 2 floors, no elevator - this apartment is probably the best you could ever ask for and I highly recommend it.

很有幸住到这个家庭旅店。首先地理位置极好，推开窗就可以看到旧时的炮台和一望无际的大海。最美妙的时节莫过于清晨与傍晚，捧着一杯浓香的咖啡，就可以看到日出和日落。主人是热情的。干净的浴巾和齐全的厨具足以透出主人对客人的关怀和细心。性价比是高的。旅店的每一层都可以单独租赁，我们居住的这一层，沙发床、折叠床都有的，一家老小或者狐朋狗友全体出动，大家都可以各得其所。 周围非常安静，我的父母亲休息的非常好。附近有方便的超市，我们买来水果和蔬菜有空的时候自己烧饭。我们冬天来，暖气十足，还有很多枕头和被子。我们还用了房间的洗衣机，晾衣架，以及吹风机。非常贴心。

Piacevole soggiorno

Casa molto confortevole, si presta bene a tutte le richieste di vacanza. Abitanti del paesino molto disponibili. Molto Ben posizionata sul mare con un terrazzo a cui avevamo accesso e che ci regalava una splendida vista sul mare. Unica pecca: postazione un po' rumorosa in orari serali in quanto le finestre affacciano anche su una via molto trafficata del centro storico. vacanza molto piacevole. Da riprovare.

Parfait !

Nous avons été très bien accueillis dans une location pleine de charme au coeur de la vieille ville de Monopoli. La petite plage à deux pas est très agréable. Francesca et ses fils nous ont fait profiter de leur connaissance de la ville et des environs en nous indiquant les lieux à voir et où manger. L'appartement est bien équipé, meublé et décoré avec soin, comme savent si bien le faire les italiens. On recommande !

Casa spaziosa, pulita e ben curata

La casa è molto bella, pulita e spaziosa, noi eravamo in 4 e ci siamo stati molto bene. Pur essendo stata recentemente ristrutturata, conserva molto piacevolmente l'impronta delle case tipiche del centro storico. La posizione è ottima: all'interno del bellissimo centro storico di Monopoli è vicina al castello di Carlo V e proprio di fronte al mare, peccato che dal terrazzino la vista di questo sia parzialmente impedita dalle mura storiche, e solo salendo nel grande (e attrezzato) terrazzo sovrastante si possa godere appieno dello stupendo panorama. La proprietaria è molto gentile e disponibile, all'arrivo ci ha dato delle ottime indicazioni sulla zona. Monopoli si è tra l'altro rivelato un buon punto strategico anche per visite a raggio più largo (Alberobello, Polignano, grotte di Castellana ecc.). Gli unici piccoli nei (proprio a volerne trovare) sono la presenza di un solo bagno (comunque abbastanza grande) e le ripide scale d'ingresso che rendono la casa non adatta a chi ha problemi motori. A parte questo, assolutamente da consigliare!

Ringrazio vivamente i signori che hanno soggiornato in questo appartamento per il giudizio rilasciato sull'appartamento nel quale hanno soggiornato . Ritengo sia davvero molto obiettivo. Devo dire che anch'io sono soddisfatta di aver avuto loro come clienti. Sono molto simpatici e alla mano. Spero ritornino.
