ACHTUNG: Die Jekyll Island State Park Authority hat mit der Wiederherstellung von Dünen für den nördlichen Teil von Jekyll Island begonnen. Infolgedessen kann der Zugang zum Strand zu bestimmten Zeiten eingeschränkt oder nicht vorhanden sein. Es gibt immer noch Zugang über Driftwood Beach, der nördlich von Villas By The Sea liegt, oder nur wenige Autominuten von Great Dunes Park oder Ocean View Park entfernt, die im Sommer 2019 eröffnet werden. Wir entschuldigen uns für alle Unannehmlichkeiten.

Great amenities, clean, easy check-in and check out. Great place to stay with kids while exploring Jekyl Island. Would recommend bringing all your own cooking oil and spices including salt/pepper; they provide soap/lotion/shampoo so bring conditioner.

Great location. Plenty of parking. Clean condo. Pool area was nice with plenty of chairs. Only concern was the musky pet smell especially on the furniture. We used a diffuser and sprayed with febreeze then covered the furniture with blankets. It was our first time renting a location that allowed pets so we knew that may be a possibility.

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location and property amenities were perfect for a family vacation. I would definitely recommend. The only negative was the unclear communication with the host. I had to wait for a call to get into the property which was unprofessional and difficult due to limited phone service on the island. No one wants to talk on the phone on vacation and a clear instructive email a few days prior is the standard option for rentals.

Pleasant, comfortable stay. Everything was accurately described. A few small inconveniences or details that could use some attention (slow draining sinks, a few bedsheets that were rather threadbare, bleach stain on a comforter, no rinse agent for dishwasher, burnt out lightbulb in kitchen, sinking, unsupportive king mattress - but everyone's preferences are different) but overall it was well-equipped (extra blankets, vacuum cleaner, lots of pots and pans, blender, coffee pot AND filters, PUR water filter for kitchen tap, luggage racks). We've been renting at the Villas for 20 years but this was our first time here in July. Pool was very busy. We appreciated the little details that the Villas put on: movie night at the pool, extra sitting area on the beach, DJ on the boardwalk on Saturday evening BUT we'll stick to coming here in the fall when the crowds and extra noise subside.

Great stay

We had a great time staying here. Condo was very well-cleaned and maintained, and many of the rooms have been updated well. The park was practically in the backyard, which was great for the kids. Easy beach access. The only critique I would say is that the downstairs bathroom is due for new faucets, but the ones they have work well - they’re just a little outdated.

Jekyll Touch the Basics

Very clean, orderly and homely. Just right for me to thank my family and Cancer "Posse" for their support of me through my 2nd bout with cancer :) very grateful for this trip, this condo, my friends/family and life. Hate that it was so short.

Nice place to stay

Overall it was a nice place to stay. They leave a nice bag in the counter for you with the basic house hold essentials, and provided plenty of towels and what not. The check in process was very easy and loved it. The check out process was a bit odd to me. We had to drop the keys off at the realty company’s office in the down town area. It took us a minute to find the office. Other than that we had a great time.

January 2023 Stay

As owners, we try to make our winter home as comfortable for visitors as possible. During our extended stay this year, we've replaced all the flooring on the steps and in the two bedrooms upstairs, installed a new glass-top electric stove, redecorated the main-floor living space and updated several pieces of furniture to give the the space a more spacious look and feel. Good but not great

The pictures online make the property look more spacious and secluded than reality, but overall it was a good stay and no big issues. Minor things like this is the first place we've stayed that had absolutely no seasonings (not even salt/pepper), not enough outlets, poor water pressure, etc. But it was clean and the neighbors weren't too noisy late at night. The location is super close to Driftwood beach which is a major plus. Generally happy overall, but likely wouldn't stay there again. Thank you
