My family had a great stay at Casa Alma! The home was lovely and spotlessly clean both inside and with daily pool area maintenance. Beds and pillows ( important to us older folks) were very comfortable, Kitchen well-equipped, lots of towels. The nearby beach was wonderful for walking and daily sunset viewing. We especially loved seeing and hearing the squawking of beautiful macaws right from the poolside chairs every morning.

We had a wonderful stay. The home was spacious for the five of us, very clean, comfortable beds and all of the amenities to make our stay very comfortable. The gated community was very safe with friendly staff providing a very clean environment. We really enjoyed the pool and patio area the home. Also the beach and community pool was beautiful. Thank you for providing your home for our vacation to this wonderful country.

We went for a wedding at Los Suenos Marriott Ocean & Golf Resort And extended our stay to 11 days and it was perfect!! The house has everything you need including a private pool It also has a beach club with a spa right on the beach and the bar restaurant was incredible!! Plenty of car services and Ubers to get wherever you need to go !!! Perfected location and the most beautiful sunsets !!! Everyone enjoyed themselves!!!! Thank You to the host Kelly

Nice place - great location

Property was nice and clean and Playa Hermosa area provides access to many things. Pool was nice and common pool and ocean access was very nice! Safe, clean and comfortable.

Great First Trip to Costa Rica

We stayed for one week and had a great time. House was very clean and well stocked with utensils and supplies. The pool bar and food were exceptional. Everybody we encountered was friendly! The scuba, Tortuga Island, National Park, and local eateries were all excellent!

Pura Vida indeed!

We had such an amazing time during our spring break stay in Hermosa Palms! Our host was amazing and connected us with everything we needed to ensure our stay was care free! The home was beautiful with a private pool and a community pool in the neighborhood right on the ocean! The home was comfortable and clean and had everything we needed for our family if 6! I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Great stay!

This is a lovely property and the host was excellent at responding to any of our questions. Our family had a great time at the house pool and community pool and beach area. Waves were a bit too big for all of us to swim at the beach. We also loved having a pool bar to purchase meals and drinks when we didn’t want to cook. We will definitely be back one day!

Beautiful home in a beautiful location.

We spent a week in the home during our third trip to Hermosa Palms. Debbie was very helpful and the property manager Marco in Costa Rica helped with all the local knowledge. We’d recommend the home and plan to spend a week there next winter.

Our stay in Costa Rica was amazing. The home was exactly as described, The location was wonderful and we felt very safe. We saw tons of wildlife right at the house. Debbie was very attentive and helped us secure our outings. We will be back!!

Best Spring Break Ever!

We had the best time! The property met all of our needs & more! We loved having a washer/dryer; enough bedrooms for us each to have our own & our own pool! The community is safe & secluded with security guard at entry & just a short walk to the community pool. The location is close to restaurants & shopping. We loved the pool bar & restaurant! Everyone was so friendly & the food was delicious! The hosts were super accommodating & very responsive! The house was very clean & met all of our needs! We will be back!

A Milestone Birthday

We had an incredible stay celebrating my birthday and the New Year! Hermosa Palms Casa Alma is unbeatable! The house was spotless, modern, and well-stocked with everything we needed. The host went above and beyond to help us plan for meals and activities, which was especially appreciated since we didn’t have a car. The community amenities were fantastic with a wonderful menu at the pool restaurant, easy walk to the the beach with the most spectacular sunsets Highly recommend this property for a relaxing and memorable getaway!

This house at Casa Alma 78 was beautiful and had our private pool. Home was clean and spacious. Debbie was very easy to work with and a delight to speak with. Wonderful and relaxing

My husband and my two sons (16 and 20) had an amazing time. We were there for 6 nights . We had everything we needed,plenty of towels including bathroom towels , kitchen supplies, even laundry detergent. The outdoor sitting area and pool was the best especially sitting and bird watching in the morning . We enjoyed the floats and the beach balls for a fun game of volleyball. We loved hanging at the community pool and enjoying the delicious and awesome vibes at Yo Yo’s beach bar. Hermosa Palms is a gem !Kelly and Debbie were great , very responsive and helpful.We can’t wait to go back .

Fantastic Way to Experience Costa Rica

The house was fantastic and the advice and directions given were bang on. There were 7 of us, 4 adults, 3 kids and two families and all kinds of room. We didn't even use the upstairs living room. Having the private pool on top of the club beach house down the street was amazing. Seeing all the birds right outside of the window when waking was perfect. Great location and close to everything you need. Costa Rica was fantastic and having this place to call home for a week made the trip perfect. Thanks Debbie Ryan

Great property and location

Our stay was great from start to finish. Debbie was quick to communicate and another family member who is local communicated with us throughout the trip and was helpful to answer questions and figure out other logistics. The property is part of a larger house but has its own entrance and is like having your own, private place (common set up for this community). It is well appointed with everything you need from laundry to a fully stocked kitchen. It also has plenty of A/C units to cool you down after being outside in the heat all day. It's a short 2 block walk to the club house and community pool which also gets you to the pool bar/restaurant and beach. This is a great place to be out of the main area of Jaco and also closer to Manuel Antonio if you are heading that direction.

Disappointed

The Community is built on top of itself (more concerned with development and not esthetics). There is lots of construction ongoing (02/2025). The beach is dirty with debris and trash (tires, plastic, etc.). The beds are extremely uncomfortable and the hot water was insufficient. The community pool ran out of water at the outdoor showers (used for cleaning sand off feet and legs) so use of the community pool was not possible. Wash and dryer was nice to have. Felt safe and was quiet at night. Lots of iguana and beautiful birds.

Hi Daniel, we are so sorry to hear you didn’t fully enjoy your stay. To address a few of your points: Hermosa Palms is a private community but not a true HOA so unfortunately we don’t have control on how others choose to build their homes but this is the first time we’ve received a comment like this. I know there is some construction going on in the community but nothing around our house, so hopefully you weren’t disturbed at the house. As for the beach being dirty, the community employs a full staff of gardeners which includes beach clean up after storms etc - it’s strange you say there was trash on the beach but we will be bringing this to the attention of the community as well as the water issues in the community shower, that you mentioned. I’m sorry you didn’t find the mattresses comfortable (of course everyone has their own mattress style preference) but rest assured the mattresses are almost brand new - purchased just about 6 months ago. We weren’t aware you had any issues with the hot water but we will look into this as well. We take a lot of pride in providing an amazing experience for our guests and appreciate your feedback.
