Das Haus ist in idealer Lage! Nur einen kurzen Spaziergang vom Strand, dem Surf Break Pavones Point, dem Rio Claro und dem Stadtzentrum entfernt. Der Pool befindet sich nur wenige Schritte vom Vorderdeck entfernt. Abgeschiedene Oase und doch nah an allem, was man braucht. Die Vermietung des Hauses umfasst ein Handy und die kostenfreie Nutzung von Surfbrettern, einer Tischtennisplatte, Fahrrädern und Highspeed-WLAN. Sicheres Parken für ein Auto.

Casa Azul bietet Platz für 5 Personen und verfügt über ein Queensize-Bett und ein Einzelbett / Sofa im Hauptwohnbereich mit hohen Gewölbedecken sowie ein Queensize-Bett im angeschlossenen privaten Schlafzimmer. Beide Bereiche sind klimatisiert. Alle Matratzen sind orthopädisch. Heißes Wasser. Voll ausgestattete, geräumige Küche mit Kräutern, Mixer, Saftpresse, Kaffeemaschine, Mikrowelle, Kühlschrank, Backofen und 6-Flammen-Herd. Schöne, große, überdachte Terrasse mit vielen Möglichkeiten zum Entspannen und einem Hangout-Loungebereich im Baumhaus über dem privaten Raum, perfekt zum Sonnenbaden, für Naturbeobachtungen und zum Betrachten von Sternen. Es gibt auch einen 42-Zoll-Fernseher mit Lautsprechern und DVD-Player, wenn Sie drinnen bleiben und in der kühlen Klimaanlage einen Film schauen möchten.

Casa Azul wurde mit viel Liebe zum Detail und Zweckmäßigkeit für das Leben in den Tropen gebaut. Es gibt auch Highspeed-WLAN und Sie können Ihre Elektronik verwenden, ohne Angst zu haben, sie zu braten. Die Steckdosen sind geerdet und der gesamte Strom ist durch einen Überspannungsschutz für zu Hause geschützt. Es ist so fehlerfrei wie es in Costa Rica nur drinnen möglich ist, da alle Fenster mit Glasscheiben versehen sind und das Haus über dem Boden steht.

Outstanding property – felt like home with family.

We spent 7 days in January 2023. Walking into the property each time was stepping into calendar pictures of paradise. We enjoyed the roof deck, the swimming pool and backyard area. Truthfully, I cannot wait to return. The beach, town, restaurants, grocery store and the people were amazing. It’s a bit of a trek to get to Pavones but it was worth every moment in your memories for life.

Great place in Pavones

Casa Azul is a great place to stay in Pavones. It's in a great location and very secure.And, it feels like you're immersed in the jungle. We enjoyed coming back to the house each evening and cooling off in the pool. James and Kelly were very responsive, and they were able to book us a tour to Matapalo at the last minute (for much less than I had found). Thanks, James and Kelly!

Just left Casa Azul after a 3 day stay. Will definitely stay longer next year now that we know how perfect it is. The house itself is so comfortable and equipped with everything you need. While being very private, it is within a few minute's walk from the river, the beach, the supermarket and several restaurants. It is set in lush, very well appointed gardens. We sat for hours watching the birds from the porch. Pavones was a very friendly community. we were very happy with our stay

Casa Azule - so peaceful and comfortable

At Casa Azul you can relax to the sounds of nature from your front deck. The property is just like being in the middle of the jungle. We watched so many different birds eating from the feeding platform that we stocked with bananas and other fruits each day. Watched Toucans, parakeets and Macaws fly by daily. The house itself is so clean and comfortable. It has everything you need including an outdoor cold water dispenser which we used constantly. We were surprised at the number of good restaurants in the area. About 100 meters down the walkway from Ebenezers was a small restaurant that served the best tuna casado ever. There are 2 grocery stores within walking distance. We rode the bicycles and floated down the river in inner tubes. It was such a pleasant experience. Look forward to returning.

Possibly the BEST place to stay in Pavones

Wife and I visited Pavones in early April 2023. Being a life-long surfer, Pavones has always been on my bucket list. The main Pavones break is a short 3-5 minute walk down the road. The center of town is a 5-7 minute walk which includes restaurants and a small Mini-mart. Additional grocery stores are about an 8-10 minute walk away. House was great and offered 2 bedrooms with a shared bathroom. Pool is cozy and the yard is filled with local plant life as well as a fun Ping Pong table. We even ate a Pineapple which was growing in the yard. The A/C in the house always kept us cool and my wife loved the pool. We felt secure and safe the entire trip, with no problems over our 10 day stay. The locals are friendly and smile/wave when approached. The overall vibe was just perfect. Pro-tip, if you see a lady selling burritos near the Pavones sign, BUY THEM. The fish (fresh Tuna) is fantastic, the chicken is great and ground beef is flavorful. She also sells home made banana bread which my wife craved daily. At $5 per burrito, it's a no brainer (food is expensive in Pavones). My wife doesn't surf, but we still found plenty to do. Everything from Yoga to hiking up river and even making chocolate or riding horses on the beach. There is a LOT to do in Pavones. I highly recommend Kelly and Jim's place, it's cute, cozy and their surf board selection is adequate if you are just trying it out.

Even better than pictured/described

Adorable, spotlessly clean house in the rain forest. Beautiful pool and gardens on the property. Easy walking distance to beach, surfing, restaurants & markets,,,,,or perfect for just relaxing on the porch or by the pool. James & Kelly were perfect hosts, replied promptly, help set up tours and activities if that's what you're interested in. Probably the best deal in Pavones, wish I would have booked a few more nights :)!

Everything you need is provided. The hosts were exceptional people. If you are considering booking this place just do it, don’t hesitate! Slice of Heaven!

Everything about the property fits the description. The house was clean, comfortable, with all the amenities you would need. Location was walking distance to everything! We couldn't have asked for anything better! The owners (James and Kelly), were helpful and easy to communicate with. We had a blast staying at casa azul! We enjoyed the hikes close to the casa. We would see tons of wildlife, toucans, white faced monkeys, hummingbirds, butterfly's...and many more! Kelly and James loaned us bikes and surf boards, we never had a dull moment! We had an awesome time playing pingpong, sitting pool side with a beverage or down on the beach watching the surfers and the horses running around the beach. Thank you Kelly and james for the amazing time we had in pavones! We loved every minute!

Beautiful property, excellent choice for traveling with kids

We were lucky enough to stay with Kelly and James at Casa Azul in August of this year. This was our first trip to Central America with our entire family in tow. We have two boys (5 & 7). Both had the time of their lives exploring the property and surrounding areas. Tubing the Rio Claro, playing soccer in the evenings with local kids and renting a quad for the beach roads were highlights for them. My wife enjoyed the pool, the low tide beach at the top of the point, and 2 hour long breakfasts and La Suerte talking to friendly locals and trying to finish the massive (and delicious) smoothies. This was an experience of a lifetime for our entire family. My oldest has just starting surfing and “caught the biggest wave of his life” down the inside of the point on a fading swell. My youngest chased everything from house geckos to wood rails around the property and had a blast playing in the gentle shore break up the road which seemed to stay manageable (at low tide) for the kids even with solid swell. Dad (me) appreciated the easy access to the top of the point. I won’t belabor this, but put it this way… a double overhead + session at desert point 15 years ago has now been bumped down to the second best day of surfing I’ve had in my life after the mothers day swell we got in Pavones. The property and surrounding area are mind-bogglingly beautiful. The food in town is awesome and the kitchen really helps when traveling with a family. James and Kelly could not have been more gracious hosts. They were ready and willing to answer any question we had and help us deal with all of the bumps and bruises that come with two, very active, young boys. Their one-year-old daughter Hailey is a beautiful child and it was nice to spend time with people who value the same things as us. Pavones is an amazing community, and very safe. Having traveled extensively (pre-kids) my wife and I are typically very aware of our surroundings. There was not one moment where we felt uncomfortable in town or on the property with our children. Pavones is a special place especially for active, outdoor oriented families. We can’t stop talking about our trip and have recommended this property to anyone that wants to listen. Truely tropical paradise!

Our recent vacation to Pavones was magical! Casa Azul is everything it says it is, plus more! The place is just as lovely as the pictures listed. Casa Azul is a way better stay than any hotel. It has all the comforts of home. Every detail is beautiful from the tropical landscaping, home decor, nice sheets and towels, comfy beds, and beach chairs, etc! We couldn't have requesting anything different. We enjoyed the easy walk down to Pavones point, the hike up the hill to see wildlife, and of course returning for a dip in your own private pool to cool off. We had coffee and fresh fruit every morning on the front porch or the upper deck before beginning our daily adventures. We used the bikes to easily ride into town for some meals. Overall, the place is spectacular! If you are considering staying at Casa Azul, do it! We will definitely return again!

Perfect Setup and Location

This home is a perfect location in Pavones and extremely well appointed with everything you need in a vacation home. The property is gated so we felt very safe. We were traveling with our 1 year old and it was probably the most comfortable living situation we encountered while traveling with a baby. The beds are very comfortable, AC worked great, kitchen was well stocked, and outside space was perfect for enjoying a cocktail after surfing all day. James and Kelly helped us with reserving other excursions since we do not speak Spanish and provided us with drinking water our entire stay. This is pretty much about as ideal as it gets when renting in Central America. We will definitely stay again.

We enjoyed our privacy along with their warm hospitality and guidance. Casa Azul has been built as a tranquil sanctuary and reflects as a true labor of love! Pavones is not a resort town or is it easy to get to. It is a true surfing village ! That is why we loved it. It is the real deal. Pura Vida!

Beautiful location and wonderful hosts!

It’s all in the details, this place is magical and James and Kelly really know how to make their guests feel welcome. Our kids (9 & 3) had a great time and loved exploring the surrounding area, there’s so much to do!

Nice oasis in Pavones

James and Kelley place take great care of their property which is evidenced by the magnificent landscaping and the attention to detail in the accommodations. The house is very clean, well appointed and extremely comfortable.. The kitchen is well stocked for all your cooking needs and they go the extra mile by leaving all sorts of condiments, coffee, tea, etc. for your use. The availability of bicycles on the property is a great addition. Their place is truly a gem and and you can tell that, unlike some properties, the owners are hands on and take great pride in their place. I would highly recommend their place to anybody looking for accommodations in Pavoves!
