Unser wunderschönes Schwarzbären-Townhome (Unit 90) befindet sich direkt gegenüber dem Durango Mountain Resort (Purgatory) und ist zu jeder Jahreszeit das perfekte Basislager für Ihren Urlaub.

Das Stadthaus verfügt über 3 Schlafzimmer und 2. 5 Bäder. Die Gourmetküche mit Granitfliesen und Küchengeräten aus Edelstahl verfügt über eine Bar mit Sitzgelegenheiten und öffnet sich zum Hauptwohnbereich und Essbereich, sodass Sie viel Platz zum Entspannen haben.

Genießen Sie vom Balkon aus einen herrlichen Blick auf die Skipisten oder unternehmen Sie einen kurzen Spaziergang zum Gemeinschafts-Pavillon mit Platz für Mahlzeiten im Freien sowie einer Feuerstelle und einem Grillplatz im Freien.

Das Haus befindet sich in der Nähe des Purgatory Flats Trail Head, einer der schönsten und landschaftlich schönsten Wanderungen in der Umgebung sowie eines gefüllten Teichs zum Angeln.

Das Hauptschlafzimmer verfügt über einen Gaskamin, einen TV und einen Balkon mit herrlicher Aussicht. Das Master-Bad verfügt über zwei Waschbecken, eine Dusche und einen Whirlpool. Alle Schlafzimmer sowie der Hauptwohnbereich verfügen über Flachbildfernseher. Es gibt eine Einzelgarage, die Sie jedoch nicht benötigen, da Sie den kostenlosen Shuttlebus auf Abruf nehmen oder einfach über den Highway 550 laufen und in weniger als 2 Minuten an den Liften sein können.

Amazaing Condo-Pictures Don't Do Justice

This condo is absolutely amazing. Clean, directly across from ski lift with a well stocked kitchen. The pictures do not do this place justice. The master suite was delightful with a fireplace and seating area. It was the perfect spot to ring in the new year with our family. We hope to be back!

The Perfect Durango/Purgatory Stay

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This rental was the absolute perfect spot for our family of four and all the things we wanted to do around Purgatory and Durango...unit has all of the amenities, is clean, comfortable and we really loved the location and neighborhood. Fishing pond, hiking trails, local restaurants and literally across the street from Purgatory. We will be back!

Great Christmas ski trip!

We are a family of 7 with 5 kids. House was decorated for Christmas! Ski bus picked us up within 5 minutes of calling. 2 fireplaces keep the house warm. Love the keypad access so no fumbling for keys. Crockpot and griddle were a plus. Wish there were 9x13 casserole pans.

Family getaway

Well started out great but thus property is basically sitting next to busy highway no peace in quiet here road noise allday & night very loud then the fire place did not work in living room then the floors on the first floor hallway to kitchen had not been moped or cleaned properly in awhile dirty plus the upper & lower balconies were completely filthy unusualable chairs & floor deck areas completely covered in filth sad 😔 not able to enjoy them other than that the property was ok

Thanks for your feedback. The Black Bear townhomes, along with all of the properties across from Purgatory Ski Resort will be subject to road noise from Highway 550 (which is not really a busy highway - especially at night since nothing in the area is open after 9am) but offer super convenient access to Purgatory Ski Resort. The gas fireplaces are turned off in the summer since they are a heat source and turning them on in summer will simply make the townhome unbearably hot. We have spoken to our maintenance team about routine cleaning off decks for all of the Black Bear townhomes we manage to ensure they are routinely cleaned. While they of course should have been clean upon arrival, we would have sent them over during your stay had you reached out.

We have sent our maintenance team to inspect the bed to evaluate whether or not it is needed to be replaced, as well as sent our team members to remedy the situation with the fireplace so the future guests do not experience the same issues. Unfortunately some of our properties are located close to major highways such as highway 550, which is fully out of our control.

The perfect getaway

Right across the street from Purgatory and just a short drive from Durango, it was the perfect location for our little family and pups to spend the 4th. The kitchen is nicely appointed with great knives and cookware. As someone who cooks a lot, it’s awesome to have higher end items in a rental spot. There is a gorgeous pond, walking trail and playground nearby, which was awesome for our pups and kids. The Nugget was a fabulous find with a super fun atmosphere and fantastic food. Cannot wait to come back and spend more time here.

Dirty sheets/ bathtub and shower

The property itself was very nice however it was not cleaned properly. The master bedroom sheets had hair and stains on them. The master shower also had hair in it on the walls. The master bathtub looked like it had not been cleaned in quite some time. Location and neighborhood were quite nice although would have been nice to know about ongoing construction.

Photos better than actual unit

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was somewhat unhappy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Unit is located next to major highway, no air conditioning, and smaller than photos appear. Traffic very loud. Refridgerator not clean upon arrival and patio furniture had cobwebs. Not worth the price.

Given the topography, all properties within 1/2 mile of the Highway will experience some level of road noise from Highway 550. This home is ideally located within the resort community with easy year-round access to a prolific array of amenities, trails networks, the ski area and open space. No properties in the area have air conditioning as the elevation is 9000 and summer highs rarely reach 80 while lows are in the low 50s. We always recommend to our guests to manage the temperature in the summer by simply leaving windows open at night at closing them in the morning and using ceiling fans when needed. The professional photos on the listing reflect the actual size and furnishings in the unit, so we are unsure why the guest felt the unit appears smaller then the photos.

Disappointed

The condo we had reserved was not available.. Luckily I checked my email that morning and saw where they had changed our unit. The condo they gave us didn't have two king beds which is specifically why we had reserved the one we did. We paid the extra 4% fee to use the hot tub but it was a drive aross the highway and then quite a walk from parking lot. The patio was very noisy with highway traffic.

Family Get Together

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall positive. Management staff was very responsive and tried to help. We did have a communication error. The single queen bedroom bed IS built into the three walls, so two people sleeping DO have to crawl over each other to get out. There is no AC. Ceiling fans, one box fan and one desk fan were not enough. We never cooled off upstairs past 72 degrees at night. And we had to keep all doors open to have air flow. Traffic noise from Hwy 550 is loud with windows and doors open in summer time. Trash must be loaded in your car and driven to a parking lot down the highway. So don’t pack your car to leave until you have done that task! Its location was our primary request. We made it work.

Very nice, homey condo. Easy to access and communicate with the very helpful property managers. Comfortable beds and pillows. We were there in the summer. Would be perfect for winter ski trip with the resort across the street.
