Das Haus liegt versteckt am Ende einer kurzen Schotterstraße, die sich vom Strand aus erstreckt. (8. St., West). Wenn du nach Osten gehst, kannst du den Strand in die aufregende Stadt Folly Beach in weniger als einer Meile laufen. Wenn du nach Westen entlang des Strandes in weniger als einer Viertelmeile gehst, wirst du am unberührten Grafschaftspark enden, wo die Insel den Tortenfluss trifft, der perfekt für Vogelbeobachtung, Delphinbeobachtung und Naturliebhaber ist! Oder einfach aufwachen und in den Ozean springen! Wenige Folly-Häuser genießen diese Art von unvergleichlicher Privatsphäre und Abgeschiedenheit. Deshalb nennen wir es Fantasy 'Island'! Drei Seiten des Hauses sind von Sumpfwild umgeben und der Hinterhof ist ganz privat. Es gibt eine unglaubliche Menge an Parkplätze in diesem Haus mit seinen riesigen Wicklung Zement Auffahrt-Parks bis zu 10 Autos! Im Inneren des Hauses werden Sie mit vier Fernsehapparaten mit DirectTV einschließlich einem riesigen flatscreen im Wohnzimmer verwöhnt. WIFI enthalten. Gas-Kamin, Granit-Arbeitsplatten und moderne Küche mit neuen Geräten einschließlich Gasherd. Innerhalb der Veranda ist ein Treppenmacher Übungsgerät für diejenigen, die ein Training wollen. Das Hauptschlafzimmer im Erdgeschoss hat ein Kingsize-Bett. Es gibt ein Vollbad mit einer Jet-Wanne und doppelter Eitelkeit vom Meister. Das zweite Etagen-Hauptschlafzimmer auf der rechten Seite hat auch ein Kingsize-Bett mit eigenem Bad und doppelter Eitelkeit. Zwei weitere Schlafzimmer auf dieser Etage teilen sich eine Halle Bad und beide haben Queen-Betten. Die Waschmaschine und der Trockner befinden sich ebenfalls im zweiten Stock. Der dritte Stock verfügt über 3 Einzelbetten und ein Doppelbett. Ein Blick auf das Meer kann man aus der 2. und 3. Etage sehen. Mit einem leichten Spaziergang zum Strand ist dies ein perfekter Ort, um einige wunderbare Folly Erinnerungen zu schaffen. Riesen-Veranda verfügt über 4 Schaukelstühle zum Entspannen und Hören des Klangs der Wellen. Kleine Veranstaltungen sind willkommen und können bis zu 50 Gäste beherbergen. Perfect Beach House

We loved the location and the house. It was spacious and perfect for a large group. We loved the front porch and being just minutes from the beach. The description of the kitchen and the third floor annex were a little misleading. The kitchen was missing a couple basic items that would have been nice to have such as a large cookie sheet, pepper, and cooking oil. There are 3 single beds on one side of the 3rd floor and two queen beds on the other side. This wasn't a problem, but the description mentioned 2 bedrooms on the third floor and I would have classified the space as one bedroom since there were no doors dividing these two spaces. Neither of these factors impacted our stay, and we would come back in a heartbeat!

Fantastic Folly House

Beautiful house with the best location. Cross the street and you’re at the beach! House fit is perfectly and comfortably. The sun room was lovely to let the kids thrive and catch a breezy snooze in the afternoon. The porch allowed us to relax and feel the sea breeze. Had the best time!

We enjoyed staying at this house and having our Thanksgiving meal here. They had really nice pots and glass jars for our use. there were a few key areas that could have been cleaner, such as mold on the water spout on the refridgerator. The top floor was advertised as two bedrooms but there was no privacy or seperation of the space. The kitchen was open to the living room which really worked for us and the kids really enjoyed the play kitchen on the back porch. The beach chairs and the sand toys were definitely used. While some things could have been better, overall, we were happy with our stay

Perfect location, plenty of space

There were 8 of us, friends for decades. It was a great space for us; however, the 3rd floor is best for kids, as the 5th and 6th bedrooms aren’t walked off from each other. Beach access directly across the street. A nice private home. My group said we would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful Stay at Fantasy Island Folly

We had a great time at Fantasy Island Folly! The location was perfect, in a cul de sac directly across the street from the beach! It was a 4-5 min walk and we basking in the sun and sand. There were more than enough rooms to accomodate our group. However, I do wish there was a little more fridge space for all of the food we had and a couple of my guests was hoping for a television in every room(their room did not have one). Overall, I recommend Fantasy Island Folly and would stay there again. Thank you Glenn for being a great host and for always responding so quickly. We really appreciate your hospitality.

We had an amazing family vacation here at fantasy island. It was so easy to get to and from the house, close to the stores and restaurants, we barely needed to drive. The house was perfect for our family.

We had a great time at the beach and surrounding area. We weren’t as impressed by the cleanliness of the property and lack of cleaning supplies. (We had a spill and were told to buy our own mop) The property also lacked any kind of exercise/fitness equipment, jacuzzi tub was very old and not clean.. All of the kitchen cabinets were filled so there was no where for our groceries. Trash had not been picked up from the last visitors so it was terribly smelly and overfill. Just expected better for the price and based on other reviews

Perfect place for our family to stay while in town for our Folly beach wedding! Very close walk to the beach and convienen to downtown Folly. Sleeps a lot of people, great for large groups. No frills beach house, but perfect for what we needed!

I came to Folly for my son's wedding in Charleston and to enjoy the beach. The home was clean and just a quick walk to the beach. I will stay there again when back in the area. Highly recommended.

Great Beach Getaway!

House was clean and spacious. Right across from a public beach! It is walkable to downtown, although it’s about a mile. We did have a bit of trouble finding Ubers to downtown Charleston, which we did not expect. But overall the house was comfortable and clean. Only complaint is there was no salt or pepper for cooking, which is not typically something I bring or buy on a trip. Overall, very pleased!

Wedding weekend

We had a large group of family and friends for my daughters wedding this weekend in Charleston. Easy and quick trip to the Port of Charleston, beach access across the street, close enough to the establisments downtown to walk but secluded enough your not bothered by noise, clean, kitchen stocked to prepare meals for 16+ people. Very accommodating for a large party.

Always gather with sister in law and her family. This year it was on the beach. Plenty of room, easy acess to the beach, could walk to town via the beach. Close to Charleston, quick and simple ride to town.

fantastic location, great water pressure, lots of beds, very clean!

The house is as pictured and location is fantastic, it does need to be refreshed, the couch is not great to sit on as some of the cushions go mostly to the floor and make it hard to get up. The run in the main area has many pulled strands, the back porch has a fantastic table and couch but the sliding door glass has all lost its seals and does not look great. It is reasonably priced compared to others in the area.

exactly as advertised

We stayed here with a large family group and the place served our purposes very well. The house is just across the road from a beautiful beach which was not crowded at all. You get a lot of bang for your buck--this place was several thousand dollars less than other large houses and/or places with beach access like this. The house is not high end, it is a little worn (carpets were stained, couch has seen better days) but given the price and location that was ok with us. Also note that the house had only starter supplies of basics such as toilet paper, soap, detergent etc. Again, the amount you spend on these items pales in comparison to the good deal you get on the house. Also, the house does not come with beach towels or chairs. The kitchen has plenty of dishes and pots and pans, well set up for cooking. Glenn was very responsive and easy to communicate with. The house was exactly as advertised and I would definitely recommend.
