Das Haus liegt versteckt am Ende einer kurzen Schotterstraße, die sich vom Strand aus erstreckt. (8. St., West). Wenn du nach Osten gehst, kannst du den Strand in die aufregende Stadt Folly Beach in weniger als einer Meile laufen. Wenn du nach Westen entlang des Strandes in weniger als einer Viertelmeile gehst, wirst du am unberĂŒhrten Grafschaftspark enden, wo die Insel den Tortenfluss trifft, der perfekt fĂŒr Vogelbeobachtung, Delphinbeobachtung und Naturliebhaber ist! Oder einfach aufwachen und in den Ozean springen! Wenige Folly-HĂ€user genießen diese Art von unvergleichlicher PrivatsphĂ€re und Abgeschiedenheit. Deshalb nennen wir es Fantasy 'Island'! Drei Seiten des Hauses sind von Sumpfwild umgeben und der Hinterhof ist ganz privat. Es gibt eine unglaubliche Menge an ParkplĂ€tze in diesem Haus mit seinen riesigen Wicklung Zement Auffahrt-Parks bis zu 10 Autos! Im Inneren des Hauses werden Sie mit vier Fernsehapparaten mit DirectTV einschließlich einem riesigen flatscreen im Wohnzimmer verwöhnt. WIFI enthalten. Gas-Kamin, Granit-Arbeitsplatten und moderne KĂŒche mit neuen GerĂ€ten einschließlich Gasherd. Innerhalb der Veranda ist ein Treppenmacher ÜbungsgerĂ€t fĂŒr diejenigen, die ein Training wollen. Das Hauptschlafzimmer im Erdgeschoss hat ein Kingsize-Bett. Es gibt ein Vollbad mit einer Jet-Wanne und doppelter Eitelkeit vom Meister. Folly

I came to Folly for my son's wedding in Charleston and to enjoy the beach. The home was clean and just a quick walk to the beach. I will stay there again when back in the area. Highly recommended.

Steps From the Beach

Went down to to be close to my grand daughter who was having surgery at MUSC. I wanted to make the trip special just for her so the beach was perfect. The house is really a hidden gem, but was just as pictures described. Everyone loved the location and space!

Perfect Beach House

We loved the location and the house. It was spacious and perfect for a large group. We loved the front porch and being just minutes from the beach. The description of the kitchen and the third floor annex were a little misleading. The kitchen was missing a couple basic items that would have been nice to have such as a large cookie sheet, pepper, and cooking oil. There are 3 single beds on one side of the 3rd floor and two queen beds on the other side. This wasn't a problem, but the description mentioned 2 bedrooms on the third floor and I would have classified the space as one bedroom since there were no doors dividing these two spaces. Neither of these factors impacted our stay, and we would come back in a heartbeat!

Plenty of room right near the beach!

The property is a very short walk to the public beach access and there was plenty of room for our group of 10--not only in terms of driveway space, but also the many bedrooms, large living room, front and back porches, etc. We had lots of space to hang around, cook for the group, and toss a football around. The walk to the main street in Folly was probably about 15 minutes and very straightforward. Very quiet neighborhood and as the title of this review suggests VERY close to the beach!

Location is fab, house was great

We had never been to Folly Beach so we weren't sure what to expect. WOW, so close to the ocean, a 5 minute walk. Kitchen / main room was a great flexible space for our group of 3 families. Between the kitchen table, the stools, and the back porch table, we always had plenty of room for meals. Rooms & bathrooms were nice, and the third floor space was perfect for our teen boys to hang out. And stayed nice and cool with the help of a supplemental a/c unit up there. Really the only disappointment was that the freezer in the kitchen wasn't working. We had a big Costco run at the beginning of the week and had to keep buying bags of ice to keep our frozen goods even cool. Good thing we didn't buy ice cream! We notified the owner/property manager, hoping we could get it fixed, but he said the part was on order (would have been good to know this before we did all the grocery shopping.) But overall, we would highly recommend this space! Would definitely visit here again! Thank you!

We love Folly Beach and make it an annual family trip in October. This was our first time in this particular property. The house is big and close to the beach. There were a few glitches - cleaners didn't show up until our check-in time so we had to wait. One of the main bedrooms had a broken bed which necessitated one family to move into a room with a double bed. Glen was responsive to these issues and a new bed was delivered later in the week. My older son was thrilled to have a car charging station at the house. Overall, it's a nice property, but it really needs some routine maintenance and sprucing up.

Glenn was a fantastic host and we had a great weekend at Fantasy Island in Folly Beach! The house has plenty of beds and rooms for a large group of people and it is located right across the road from public beach access. Wonderful property with great location. Secluded and private but really close to beach. How is that possible? It’s on a dead end cul de sac across from the beach. Will definitely be back in the future. First time to Folly Beach which is also a gem.

Perfect for family gathering

We stayed at fantasy island for a family vacation. Really enjoyed the front and back porches and convenient beach access. Host was prompt with communication and we had no issues during our stay. House was big enough for everyone to have their own space when needed and livingroom and back porch were able to accommodate everyone at once.

The house was a good size for our family of 6 adults and 4 kids. The third floor sleeping area worked especially well for the kids. 2 girls on one side and 2 boys on the other. Plenty of room! Each family unit had their own bathroom (except the third floor), plus the lavatory off the kitchen. Most bathrooms had hand soap provided but no other toiletries for showering. The kitchen was well equipped. Could have used more than 2 kitchen towels. The dishwasher had some issues but Glenn was quick to respond. It may need some work as it still leaks. We made good use of both porches and the grill during our stay as well as the washer and dryer.Fortunately our daughter drove to the beach house and was able to bring beach chairs, towels, and sand toys. None are provided.It was a lovely, roomy house in which to stay. It was very conveniently located with easy access to the beach.

Beautiful house with the best location. Cross the street and you’re at the beach! House fit is perfectly and comfortably. The sun room was lovely to let the kids thrive and catch a breezy snooze in the afternoon. The porch allowed us to relax and feel the sea breeze. Had the best time!

Family reunion

We enjoyed staying at this house and having our Thanksgiving meal here. They had really nice pots and glass jars for our use. there were a few key areas that could have been cleaner, such as mold on the water spout on the refridgerator. The top floor was advertised as two bedrooms but there was no privacy or seperation of the space. The kitchen was open to the living room which really worked for us and the kids really enjoyed the play kitchen on the back porch. The beach chairs and the sand toys were definitely used. While some things could have been better, overall, we were happy with our stay

Perfect location, plenty of space

There were 8 of us, friends for decades. It was a great space for us; however, the 3rd floor is best for kids, as the 5th and 6th bedrooms aren’t walked off from each other. Beach access directly across the street. A nice private home. My group said we would definitely stay here again.

We had a great time at Fantasy Island Folly! The location was perfect, in a cul de sac directly across the street from the beach! It was a 4-5 min walk and we basking in the sun and sand. There were more than enough rooms to accomodate our group. However, I do wish there was a little more fridge space for all of the food we had and a couple of my guests was hoping for a television in every room(their room did not have one). Overall, I recommend Fantasy Island Folly and would stay there again. Thank you Glenn for being a great host and for always responding so quickly. We really appreciate your hospitality.

Amazing, just book it!

We had an amazing family vacation here at fantasy island. It was so easy to get to and from the house, close to the stores and restaurants, we barely needed to drive. The house was perfect for our family.

I discovered Folly Beach back in 2008 and instantly fell in love. I knew this was the perfect place to bring my family and make lifelong memories. When I found this large beach house, I had to buy it. We love our time here spent by the ocean. We also love the convenience of how close it is to our little beach town as well as Charleston, where there’s always so much to see and do.

In 25 minutes you're in downtown Charleston with all of the great restaurants and activities... If you like Uber your looking at a $20 Uber ride at the very most to downtown.

Welcome to Fantasy Island in Folly Beach, South Carolina. There is no need to worry about keeping up with work or ensuring the kids can still connect to tik tok with our lightning-fast wifi.

What makes this place so unique is its incredible location right across the street from the gorgeous beach, a quick walk into our eclectic little beach town and a short drive to historic Charleston.
