Pleasant Views but only has an Outside Toilet
The house has nice elevated views of the sea and Teide from above La Victoria.
The kitchen is large and well equipped. Unfortunately, the description on HomeAway for the house did not state that the toilet is outside and can only be accessed from outdoors. I thought as the bedroom in the external annex had an ensuite bathroom, this would have a toilet, but this is not the case. So, you have to leave the house or the bedroom annex to go out to the toilet and if it is raining, it is wet. A torch is provided for night time.
Another quirk is that you have to sign a rental contract. I visit Tenerife often and have stayed in many different places, and I have never had to do this. As part of the contract, in addition to paying a cleaning fee, you are required to clean the house and other activities such as make and strip the bed. Despite, or maybe because of this, I found the house to be less clean than everywhere else I have visited, with sticky surfaces across the kitchen.
The owners and Norma were available to fix the things that were broken or faulty.
