Thank you for your feedback. As I told you when the A/C issue came up, I always appreciate feedback on what needs attention, as we do not live at the property. To go through your list: 1)The reason we were not able to give access to the house before you rented is that there was another tenant in the house up until your starting date. It has always been our policy not to disturb current tenants for a viewing, as I explained to you at the time. 2) It is true that the 2- 5” foam pieces on the king bed do not quite fit the frame. This firmer foam is covered however by a very comfortable 3 inch soft foam topper, whose cover goes around both the top and bottom foam. The only feedback I have ever received on this was that it was extremely comfortable. In any case, I will replace the bottom foam with a new mattress after this complaint. 3) I was not aware the upstairs twin mattresses were in need of replacement until I heard from you. I replaced them immediately, and again added a soft topper on top. (Maybe you did not use the topper, as I noticed they were in the closet when I came up in January). The 2nd layer of softer foam is what makes the bed very comfortable. 4) I have the house professionally cleaned after each tenant. I will advise them of this complaint about surfaces, although again, I have never had this complaint before. 5) There is one ceiling fan which only gets cleaned about once a year. It is in the living room, and requires a 2 story high ladder to access it. The same is true for the windows which are very high in the living room. All the rest are done regularly. We purposely do not have shades or curtains in this area, as part of the beauty of this room is the tall windows and the exceptional view out to the marsh and river. We were given advice by an interior decorator to use minimal window coverings in the living room. The rest of the house has normal blinds. 6) The A/C/heat pump was 12 years old but had not signs of issues before you came, according to the bi-annual check ups, and previous tenants. We had the system evaluated and replaced within a week of your phone call. The living room windows are double paned so should not leak heat inside. 7) We hire professionals for all our maintenance and yard needs. Occasionally when we are in SC we do some outdoor work in the garden etc., as when you were there. I always ask tenants to let me know if there is anything at all which needs attention to let us know, and we have it taken care of promptly.
